My Mother was resident for two and a half years and during that time she was so well looked after and I felt the amazing team of staff always showed such great care, kindness and respect.
There is a real family friendly feel to Churchill House and there are always various activities to keep all residents
entertained and involved. I was so reassured that Mum was looked after, especially during her last few weeks of end of life care. The support given to us, we won't forget and are very grateful for.
Thank you.

In the short time our new manager has been with us the difference is amazing. The staff levels rose to a sensible level, regular visits checking all is ok for the residents.
On a personal front she has removed a couple of very 24 hours a day noise disturbances, so for the first time in a long time
I can have a good night's sleep. And we can see she really cares!

I want to express how pleased I am with the nursing home where my grandfather lives. He has Alzheimer's and it's important for him to be in a safe place. The staff is friendly and caring. They take the time to interact with my grandfather, making him feel comfortable. Their patience really helps him
each day. The nursing home is clean and well-kept, which makes us feel better about his living situation. Overall, I feel good knowing my grandfather is well cared for in a nice environment. We appreciate everything the staff does for him.

My Father has always been a difficult person. He has never liked to mix with people. He is very stubborn and as the dementia has progressed, has become very aggressive, damaging a number of doors and windows with his walking stick. The staff have been and continue to be amazing with him. Showing patience,
understanding and professional care. They look after his physical and mental needs with compassion and dignity. When he was at home, he refused any kind of personal hygiene, not washing or changing his clothes for months at a time. The staff have managed to give my dad regular showers which I know is next to a miracle! I cannot praise the staff of Oldbury Grange enough!

Stretton Hall Nursing Home

I am delighted and comforted by the care and affection my father receives in the beautiful surroundings of Stretton Hall. The nursing and care teams are kind and diligent and have a genuine relationship with my father which he values very highly. He is treated with dignity and respect and is blossoming
in confidence in managing his own mobility, walking short distances unaided where previously he needed support. The hall itself is a beautiful period house which is characterful and comfortable in tree-lined, pretty gardens. The atmosphere is calm and happy. Rachel and Leanne are extremely responsive in person and via telephone and show great awareness of Dad's condition and attitude on a daily basis. The activities led by Charmaine are creative and enjoyable bringing all residents together regardless of age or aptitude. The food is excellent and lunchtime meals are served socially in a dining room at tables laid with linen, china and cutlery giving a sense of specialness to each day.
Reply from Rachel Price, Home Manager at Stretton Hall Nursing HomeThank you so much, Jo, for taking the time to share such a lovely review. Your father is an absolute pleasure to have with us. He has settled into Stretton wonderfully and has really embraced community life, getting involved in activities like gardening and choir. We're delighted to hear that you're happy with the care and support he is receiving. I will gladly pass this review onto the team.

I am very happy with Isle Court. My Mum has lived there for 3 months and her health has improved so much. I haven't seen my Mum look so well in years. The food is amazing, all home cooked. The staff are very caring and do a wonderful job. They know every resident very well. They know their likes and
dislikes. The doctor calls in every Wednesday. I always had such trouble getting an appointment at the doctors. And now it's so much easier.
I highly recommend Isle Court.

Since the new management has taken over, I've personally noticed a marked improvement in how the care home is managed and run. There is now a much more positive, organised and consistent approach throughout, which is very reassuring as a family member.
The reception staff are consistently helpful,
friendly and welcoming, making every visit a pleasant experience. It's clear they genuinely care and are always willing to assist.
The activities team are second to none. They go above and beyond to keep residents engaged, active and included, and-importantly, this is delivered with real consistency, which makes a noticeable difference to residents' wellbeing and day-to-day happiness.
Overall, the improvements have been significant, and the consistency in care and service is clear to see. I would have no hesitation in recommending this care home to others looking for a safe, caring and well-managed environment.

Stretton Hall Nursing Home

I was deeply disappointed by this facility. Mum went in for a respite stay of two weeks with the intention of moving in permanently if all went well. It did not. There was a catalogue of failings which I reported to the CQC and to the company's management. Please, look elsewhere for care for your loved
one. I can only stress that this home is not what we were promised by the Manager, Rachel. The carers are kind, but far too few to keep the residents safe. My Mum spent a month in hospital following a fall which should never have been allowed to happen. I also know of another long-term resident who moved out after the change of ownership resulted in care failings. I'm pleased to say, Mum has now been happily settled for six months in another home which has far higher standards in every way. Stretton Hall is expensive, but please believe me you will not be getting what you would want for your loved one.

Mum was here for palliative care during the last few weeks of her life and received excellent care. Everyone who works at this home were friendly, professional and respectful at all times. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone, whether it was during the day or night. All the staff were excellent with
family members who visited and we were allowed to go and see Mum at any time of the day or night. They even gave us bedding so we could sleep in Mum's room when it was nearing the end of her life and offered us drinks and snacks. The nurses were amazing, they managed Mum's pain really well and it was a peaceful, pain free passing for her. The cakes by the log in pad for visitors was a massive hit too!! The family can not thank you enough for the care and compassion you gave to Mum and us. THANK YOU EVERYONE !!

My daughter, in care due to extreme issues with functional neurological disorder, has received first-class care, with all staff members being caring, very friendly and efficient.
The care centre is both 'homely' and orderly, with a high standard of hygiene. We commend this care centre and the hard-working
staff.

My friend came into the care home for reablement from the hospital, and being at Wellington Hall was a godsend. We were welcomed warmly by Jodie, Kate and all the team on floor 2. I was impressed by how much choice and freedom residents have and how every member of staff interacts with each resident.
Relatives were welcomed and involved, and communication was really good. Thank you, everyone, you made a big impact and difference.
