I recently visited a resident at Vale View over a period of a week.
I was very impressed with the care that he consistently received.
All members of staff showed compassion. They treated him with dignity and care at all times. They always smiled and showed a genuine interest in my friend and his family.
I
look forward to my return to see these lovely staff.

My 92 year old mum moved to Vale View Heights in June, following a fall that left her with a broken arm, head injury and the inability to walk. Two months later, the staff at Vale View have cared and actively provided rehabilitation for my mum. She is now walking and enjoying life again. Thank you so
much! The leadership at Vale View is fantastic, they know everything that goes on with every person.

Raleigh Mead is a friendly and caring home. As soon as you step in you are greeted and welcomed by the reception staff. Most of the staff are friendly and cheerful. My wife has been resident here for two years and has been well treated from the outset. I was kept informed by the staff about her well-being,
with weekly phonecalls about her weight and other health issues.
The activity staff are very good and, even though she cannot manage the outside trips, she is involved with the activities such as singing.

Whenever I go and visit my father he seems to be very clean and happy. At all times the staff are very polite, helpful and caring. A special mention must go to the member of staff who does your social media page. It makes me feel good to see my father enjoying the activities.

My father came to Vale View Heights initially on a temporary placement following a period in hospital. However, as he was happy and content in the home and his needs required it, his placement became permanent. The staff at the home are very caring and helpful and treat the residents with dignity.
While dad was unable to join in the all the activities towards the end of his time, these also were interested and varied.
Reply from Tselane Selokoma, Manager at Vale View Heights Care Home

Thank you so much for your kind words. We're truly grateful for your appreciation of our staff-it means a great deal to know their care and dedication made a positive difference. It's also lovely to hear that the activities were enjoyed, even if only in part towards the end of your dad's time with us.We're also pleased to share that decoration work has now begun to enhance both the rooms and communal spaces. These upgrades reflect our continued commitment to creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for all our residents and their families.

My dad has been in the home for 3 months. He has settled well considering and that is solely down to the staff and management. Everyone is kind, caring, polite, friendly and respectful to my dad and us his family. The activities team are so fantastic and he is included in everything. The staff really
care and Dad always has the best care and support from everyone. The team are led by an approachable and caring manager and the home is very clean and well looked after. I cannot be more pleased with his care.

This home is fantastic - I live 250 miles away and can only visit mum & dad every 3 weeks, but I know they are in safe hands there. The home is in beautiful surroundings in the middle of the countryside with epic views and even ponies in the field in front of the home. All the staff are incredibly friendly,
accommodating, and take real pride in their work, with excellent communication and updates whenever needed. I was thrilled when I found out that mum and then dad were to be admitted to Langford Park and every visit there since has been brilliant. I love the food, the activities - they really go above and beyond for their residents. Thank you to the manager and team!

My mum is 100% better living at Eastleigh than the final years she had in the family home. She is eating better and looks so much better in herself. She is treated with respect and dignity, as I am myself when I visit. Thank you everyone at Eastleigh East Street.

Both of my parents (& myself & partner) are really well supported by every member of staff at Vale View. Dad has dementia & attends day care once a week. Mum has recently transferred into the care of Vale View from hospital following a fall. As she is very frail & requires palliative care, she was sadly
unable to return to our family home. Dad receives excellent care & love from everybody. The day a week supports our whole family & makes a huge difference to myself & my partner too, allowing us a few hours a week of quality time safe in the knowledge that dad is being well cared for. Mum is also receiving loving & compassionate care from everybody at Vale View, which is an enormous relief for me. She seems very comfortable & looks a different person from the 'patient' who transferred from hospital. It is difficult to put into words my appreciation of the support, care & warmth offered by every member of staff for my whole family. 10/10 Thank you for welcoming us into your family.

The care is very poor and the food was appalling They don't have enough staff to run efficiently so patients are waiting for a long time for care ect the cost is very expensive for the amount of care and attention you need. We have now moved to a different nursing home and if you compare the two it
is like one is one star and the other one is five star totally different. I wouldn't put my dog in a place like this. My partner was in here for about a month and the manager didn't go and see her at all. We didn't even know who the manager was.

We are very pleased with the level of care received to date and carers now more aware of Mum's needs. If mum is in need of help this quickly dealt with once staff made aware by family. Something is usually organised by staff most days of the week.

The care mum was shown by carers and all the staff at Eastleigh has been outstanding. I highly recommend this care home; the staff are attentive and treated mum with love and dignity. Nothing was too much trouble at anytime in her two year stay. Every effort was made to give her the individual care
package she required to ensure she was comfortable, and felt loved at a time when the family could no longer manage. At every weekly visit family were always made to feel welcomed into the home too. We felt mum was in very safe hands. Thank you Eastleigh Team.

My mother was a resident at Raleigh Mead for around 2 years until her passing last month. The care provided was excellent, and the staff were wonderful. I never had any worries whatsoever. I was kept very well informed on matters of mum's health and well-being. I visited mum 2 - 3 times a week and witnessed
how much mum was respected and always treated with dignity. The staff and management are first class; they showed genuine affection for mum and our family. I remain indebted to them. Thank you.
