There were occasions when everything wasn’t perfect. However, as a relative of someone who suffered with dementia, life with dementia is far from perfect. If you cannot manage your relative’s care yourself then don’t expect the unachievable from others. Work with your care home to get the best for your relative. It’s a team effort and that’s what Clyde Court excel at.

The activities team are amazing and put a lot of effort into the work they do with the residents and sometimes I feel my dad has a better social life than me, there are outings whenever possible and they have entertainment come to the home. The domestic staff keep the bedrooms and public areas very clean. During the Covid-19 situation, the staff set up FaceTime and a family/friends drive-thru so we could still visit also there was a room on the ground floor so that the residents could chat with family/friends through the window social distancing guidelines were adhered to.
