Because we live a 3 hour drive away from our friend in the care home, it was important that she was receiving good care and we could not have been more assured of the wonderful care she received. The staff were all conscientious and diligent in their care all the time with love and compassion. Right up to the end of our friends life, they treated her with dignity but also with encouragement and positivity. We are so glad that we found this care home.

My dad Dennis has been in St Oswald's since 15/8/25. From the first day it felt like home from home and has continued to do so. I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff and the welcome myself and my family receive. My dad originally went for respite following the death of my mum but loves it so much his stay became permanent. He has never asked to return home. He loves the company and activities and is looking forward to the gardening club. An amazing home.

My mother has been cared for well. Carers/nursing staff are friendly and attentive. Although she is confined to bed she is kept comfortable and clean and staff visit regularly and check her. Activities are on offer every day and she encouraged to take part. Food is varied and well prepared although she eats very little. Staff ensure she is well hydrated and safe.

Excellent care home, fantastic staff very caring always putting Betty's best interests first, couldn't ask for better care.

Mum took a while to settle in after coming from a care home which could no longer meet her needs. Mum is much more happier now. The staff are all very friendly and helpful with any queries I may have.

From making contact to view St Oswald's House right through to the care received, I can't fault the staff, they were warm, welcoming, professional and compassionate. The home is exceptionally clean and the food smelt wonderful, the Christmas dinner lunch menu was amazing. I felt at ease knowing my family member would receive the best care and we were welcomed to visit any time of the day/night. The care provided was exceptional and they were treated with dignity and respect at all times. Would highly recommend St Oswald's.

My experience is St Oswalds highly recommended in every department. Cannot fault the staff, they are outstanding.

My elderly extended family member was in here and her care was excellent. Nurses and carers went above to make her stay there as comfortable and dignified especially towards her end of life. I would highly recommend this home for any person who needs care. I was always made welcome and the care team were really friendly and offered refreshments if needed. I was also allowed to take my grandchildren in who were also made welcome

My mother went into St Oswald's House on 22nd December until her passing on 18th January 2025. We are both so pleased with the great care and dignity she was shown. All the staff are a credit.

I would like to let everyone know what a wonderful care and fantastic service my Mum received in her last few months at St Oswald's. These people go way above and beyond in their levels of care and professionalism and gave my mum some much-needed joy in her last few months. Thank you to all the team you are amazing, ven coming to her funeral to pay your respects. We as a family really want to put on record our gratitude and thanks.

I have made some lovely friends in here, including the staff and residents. St Oswalds has changed my life for the better.

My mum went into this home for respite for 2 weeks, they really looked after her, she was taken out of her room by the care staff to go to the lounge to play bingo and dominoes, and she also had some lovely meals. They showered her and kept her clean throughout her stay. I will definitely be putting her in this care home again for respite care.

She enjoys the wide range of food on offer, always complimenting the chef. She loves all the office staff and carers and her words I can't fault anything, I love it here.

The staff and service was exemplary. So friendly, professional and yet like a home from home. The room was stunning and comfortable. I highly recommend St Oswald's House, and suggest you go and see for yourself. My mum went in for respite after my father passed in August 2023. Thank you Home Manager and all staff... amazing!

Always exceed our expectations with regard to the care of our mother. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, all are friendly and attentive to our mother's daily needs. She's happy and we are extremely happy. 10/10.

The staff at Cypress Court did an incredible job with my aunt, they provided the most wonderful care. The team at Cypress have such a nice caring, responsive and warm attitude, I could not recommend them more highly. With the manager at the helm, this place should be rated number one in the industry and thanks to making sure everything is taken care of.

My mum is very settled here and seems content with all the staff who do a brilliant job.
