Prestbury House is a gem in the heart of Macclesfield. Central location, good parking. Spotlessly clean throughout with bright, comfy rooms. However, Prestbury House's greatest asset is its staff. Every member I met was friendly, caring, always had time to stop and chat, as well as demonstrating professionalism & experience. My husband couldn't have recieved better care. A super establishment. Thank you.

All carers & nurses very kind & helpful. Jolly & friendly. All meals brought in three time a day - very good & varied. Enjoyed sports day in garden.

My husband was a resident in Prestbury House for a period of 6 months. During his stay he received excellent care from staff. Every member of staff treated him with dignity and compassion and his needs were met promptly and without fuss. My daughter and I, as well as my husband, were made feel very welcome and part of the care home family and we could not have hoped for a better home for my husband.

Prestbury House is an outstanding care home. The staff are excellent, from the moment my mum arrived we were all made to feel very welcome. Mum was not able to spend time out of her apartment in the garden before, but now she enjoys being in the lovely garden and participating in activities. Knowing Mum is safe and happy gives us all peace of mind. Thank you to the wonderful team for making her smile again. xx

I visited my cousin today expecting to see him in bed as he usually was at home but what a surprise I had to find him amongst people he hadn't met before but speaking to them as if they were old friends. He was a bit of a mischievous child in the nicest sense of the word and all that personality was back.He even performed one of his magic tricks again for me and my husband you and your staff have performed a miracle, oh he may have his off days but so do we all.My whole experience today was fantastic I live in North Wales and feel much happier seeing him so well and happy after seeing him in your care all the staff I saw were so good with him and us Thank you all for giving him his life back

The care home accepted my friend with warmth and compassion. My friend had many needs and so many staff helped her in her final months.

Our family and friends have all been very reassured by the wonderful care and facilities you have provided to my wife at Prestbury House. The professionalism and friendliness afforded by the staff have made this very difficult time for us much more bearable. Excellent facilities.

Prestbury House is amazing. Staff are attentive, excellent with the residents. Always there if we need to ask anything. Excellent food, Mum enjoys the food. Very clean. Activities are very good. All in all - excellent.

We are very pleased with Prestbury House. The staff are caring, friendly and always willing to help and residents supported at all times. There are plenty of activities organised which keep everyone engaged. Everywhere is very clean and well-maintained. The meals served are excellent and varied. Overall we are very happy with the care and attention offered to our mother-in-law.

The care since Mum went into Astbury Mere has been excellent and any small requests to the staff made by my sisters and myself have been acted on immediately and professionally.

Since my husband became a resident at the beginning of March he has settled in well and all the staff are extremely kind and caring when dealing with my husband. Whilst the staff are constantly busy on the dementia floor they always have time to treat me husband with respect and patience. They also make time to answer any questions I have. I highly recommend Prestbury House.

Su moved in 4 months ago, we thought for palliative care. What a change, she is doing amazingly well, settled, happy, participating in group activities, of which there are many. Staff are caring, attentive and friendly to residents. I would highly recommend Astbury Care Home and am very confident in their team.

My husband is well looked after and his physical welfare has improved with the excellent care he has received from everyone; staff, carers and nurses. The home is so friendly and welcoming and it is a pleasure to be part of it. So lovely to know he is safe and well cared for. Many thanks.

Staff are all very attentive and helpful. Nice outdoor area and reasonable size public lounge. A nice assortment of outings, although only a couple of residents can attend at once due to need for one-on-one staffing. More evening activities after 6 would be nice, and some more musical venues, as many residents seem engaged. Bistro area is very small and parking can be an issue, but not sure how this could be resolved. Mum would have benefited from more one-on-one care to keep her mobile but that window has closed. When special events provide food it should replace lunch or dinner so more appreciated.

Lovely gardens, lounge/conservatory more like a hotel where you'd go on holiday, not a care home. Staff are lovely, welcoming and very caring. The dining room is like a restaurant, no canteen-like feeling that you get in many homes in the area. The activities team are excellent, always trying to find something different to do. A few more staff would give residents more one-on-one time for a push-out in wheelchair.

The pack of lighting, music and other sensory items created a calm and dignified atmosphere.

Recovering from a hip operation, I could manage to do most things without the help from staff, but even so, there were always staff available and ready to help if need be. Having stayed for 2 weeks, I found the home was well run and have no complaints.
