Review of Rosewood Care Home from D V (Daughter of Resident) published on 24 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

We moved our father into Rosewood as it was becoming apparent that he wasn't able to look after himself at home alone. We have never regretted it, from day one all the staff have shown nothing but kindness and respect towards him and have looked after him like one of their own. The food is great and there and plenty of drinks and snacks offered throughout the day

Review of The Oast Care Home from peter b (Son of Resident) published on 17 July 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Mum had been resident at the Oast for nearly three years and sadly passed away in June. In all that time at the Oast Mum has received the most wonderful and attentive care right up to the end. I have the highest praise for all the staff, every single one, and cannot thank them enough for making Mums final years so comfortable and treating her with dignity and respect especially in the final days of her life.

Thank you Team Oast, you are the real reason that your care home is so highly regarded.

I am very happy with the decision of choosing The Oast as the care home that is looking after my Mum. Myself as well as the rest of our family feel very reassured that she is receiving the best care possible by a very dedicated group of care staff. The meals are plentiful as well as varied and there is a wonderful outside area for people to spend time in.

I can't thank the team of staff at rosewood enough for the work they do in caring for my mum, they treat her like family for which I'm always grateful for. The staff are polite, friendly and seem like they want to be there. My mum can be a picky eater however they really do go out of their way to prepare something that she would like and the in-house activities coordinator does a great job sorting out events and activities for people to take part in.

Charing House has a very homely atmosphere about it and does truly feel like a home from home. The staff always do there best to care for my mother which at times isn't easy due to her care requirements but they are always very patient and ensure she gets the care she needs. The food always looks appetising and her clothes are kept neat and tidy.

Review of Park View Care Home from Sarah M (Daughter of Resident) published on 29 April 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My mum moved into park view from London just a couple of months before Covid hit us all, she lived there right up un till May 2025 where sadly her needs got worse and she is now living in a nursing home, she loved it there she really did, and we as a family were very happy with parkview. All the staff were lovely caring kind compassionate. The home is clean and tidy and mum had a lovely room. We were very sad when she had to leave. I would recommend this care home to anyone.

Review of Woodside Care Home from A E (Son of Resident) published on 1 April 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

I chose Woodside from a selection of 5 Care Homes for a few good reasons. It looks Smart, has a good position, the cost per month acceptable, the staff--when I arranged to view--were polite, helpful and informative. Dad first arrived at Woodside after a period spent in hospital, he was suffering from mild dementia and prostate problems which meant he had to have regular catheter and bag monitoring. After a few weeks he looked so much better and his physical health and well-being improved due to the continued care and friendship and of course the good food. Dad was there for nearly 2 years and I know that the staff were deeply saddened by his death. My thanks to everybody at Woodside for making his time with you so effectual.
