Care Homes Owned by Charing Healthcare Ltd in Kent

Moving mum to a care home was the hardest decision I've ever made, but I was immediately put at ease with the care and love the staff show the residents. They are so patient and kind and I've witnessed real bonds that give you a feel that Park View is one big family.

I would highly recommend this home.

My dad has been living at Charing House for several years and from day one I've been so happy we chose them. It's modern, well maintained and clean. All the staff carers, housekeepers etc. are exceptional and give there all whilst looking after my dad and others living there. The chefs have always cooked great meals for him with lots of choice being offered and lots of teas and coffees are offered throughout the day.

We have been very impressed with the care the staff at Hillbeck have given our mum. They obviously know all the residents well and ensure that their needs are consistently met. Alongside the day to day personal care it includes lots of super activities to keep the residents engaged and stimulated. As a family we have been made to feel very welcome when we visit. There are also several events during the year where friends and family are invited to celebrate with their loved one. A recent example of this was the Summer Party. It was great to see how happy the residents were and it was clear to see just how much all the staff care for them.

My experience of The Oast so far has been very positive. My Mums care is being handled well and if there are any issues I am contacted straight away. The meals look appetising with a good selection to choose from and her room is kept clean and presentable.

There is not much I can say. Only, the placing of the ratings means that it must be a very, very good care home.

We would recommend Rosewood when anyone is making the difficult decisions when placing a loved one in care.

All the staff have treated my mum with the upmost respect and have provided great care to her since she has been at Blair Park. There are plenty of entertainers which come into Blair Park to perform for everyone which is great as my mum has always enjoyed listening to the songs and the facilities around the home are well suited for someone her age.

my mum has received such excellent care since being at Hillbeck. The staff have always put her comfort and dignity first with no requests every being a problem, they are fantastic. My mum loves the food, the outdoor area is spacious and her clothes are looked after well.

A friend recommended Park View to me and my family for my mum following a relative of theirs being at the care home and we are very grateful they did. The home is clean and tidy and the staff are great. The manager has been very supportive through the moving in process and at putting our minds at ease with how my mum has settled in and there is a nice range of activities that take place on a daily basis.

I and my family feel extremely fortunate that our mum is at Charing House. At first we didn't know what to expect as we have never had a family member go into a care home, however it became apparent very quickly that she was being looking after well. There is a very homely feel to Charing House and the layout of her bedroom and bathroom suits her well and the staff encourage her to take part in the activities and entertainment arranged.

Everyone at Hillbeck are kind helpful and really do care for the residents, it feels like a family atmosphere and from what I can see everyone is valued. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and the residents are offered plenty of fun and entertainment or quiet time if that's what they prefer. The food is lovely and home cooked and there is always a cuppa available. Everyone seems genuinely happy. Our family member settled very quickly and this I feel is due to the care, support and attention given equally to everyone as everyone is made to feel involved,

We moved our father into Rosewood as it was becoming apparent that he wasn't able to look after himself at home alone. We have never regretted it, from day one all the staff have shown nothing but kindness and respect towards him and have looked after him like one of their own. The food is great and there and plenty of drinks and snacks offered throughout the day

Mum moved into Blair Park in July 25 & I've found the care home to be quite ideal, it's clean, tidy & importantly to me, they have a really great team of friendly, caring & helpful staff. There are lots of fun activities & outings to occupy residents, mum has made some nice friends, has a nice en suite room, is well kempt & eats well. With my experience, I can wholeheartedly recommend!

Park View have taken exceptional care of my mum. The staff are very kind and friendly, whenever I visit I've always seen the staff being polite a curious to my mum and others living their. The standard of food is good with there being plenty of variety and the management team are always visible and have also been a great support to myself.

My mum has resided at Charing House for some time now and I can say with great confidence that she is being looked after very well. The staff are brilliant and take care of all her medication, laundry, diet etc. very well. The dining room and lounge areas are clean and the activities team offer a good range of activities which keeps everyone entertained and interacting with each other.

I am very happy with the decision of choosing The Oast as the care home that is looking after my Mum. Myself as well as the rest of our family feel very reassured that she is receiving the best care possible by a very dedicated group of care staff. The meals are plentiful as well as varied and there is a wonderful outside area for people to spend time in.

As soon as I looked round Blair Park I knew my mother would settle in well. The staff are very friendly and the manager is always on hand if needed. My mother has a lovely room with bathroom facilities which is kept clean and the entertainment put on is brilliant.

I can't thank the team of staff at rosewood enough for the work they do in caring for my mum, they treat her like family for which I'm always grateful for. The staff are polite, friendly and seem like they want to be there. My mum can be a picky eater however they really do go out of their way to prepare something that she would like and the in-house activities coordinator does a great job sorting out events and activities for people to take part in.
