My mum has recently become poorly. The staff have been excellent in supporting her needs in a dignified and caring way. I have been kept up to date with her health and feel that staff really know my mum and that is comforting to know. I'm sure my mum will regain her health as they keep a close eye on
how she is. The care home has a nice comforting feel to it, perfect for my mum.

Thanks to Creggan Bahn for everything they did for my mother-in-law. She spent the last 5 years of her life in the most ideal surroundings that me, her daughter and son could wish for. I would like to thank the management and staff for the way they have handled the comments we made about the food. Since February they have included the resident in giving suggestions on how to improve the meals. They have changed a lot of the ways food is delivered and cooked. This has resulted in a
massive change and the resident is enjoying the food now. The cleanliness issue I raised was not about the home in general it was about the areas around the door handles. I am now aware that it looked a bit worn and not dirty. They have painted the area and it looks better. The staff are always very welcoming and management have taken on board our concerns very well and have acted on them
with professionalism and a positive attitude

My Dad, who has Alzheimer's disease, is being extremely well cared for at Creggan Bahn. He has improved significantly, both mentally and physically, since arriving from several months in hospital after fracturing his hip. We are very happy with the care he is receiving.

Excellent care provided to my Dad, he has really improved since moving from the hospital to Creggan Bahn. Staff attentive to both my dad and also visitors. Young children were treated to some nice cakes which was a nice touch.

The care home staff do their best to meet the needs of residents. They listen to complaints and try to improve their practice where possible. Retention of staff is problematic. Staff are generally cheerful and friendly. Management and administration are approachable and receptive.

Since my sister came into this care home I have found it to be a very caring home. All the the staff are very pleasant and caring towards all who live in it. The domestic staff are really second to none and keep the nursing home very clean and all the staff are wonderful in making sure everyone has
a chance to voice their oppinion on there meals. If they don't like something they will change the menu. What more can you ask for a nursing home.

The carers dont communicate enough with relatives. Washing residents clothes is a shambles. My husbands clothes were always going missing and still is. I take them home now.

My lifelong friend was a resident in Creggan Bahn for 20 months having been unable to continue in her own home due to dementia and it's attendant problems.. With the outstanding care she received whilst a resident she improved immensely being encouraged to eat regularly, receiving medication timeously
and engaging in many stimulating activities to help her achieve a safe and undoubted extension to her life .The care and individual attention to their residents is apparent from the moment you enter the premises. The staff were exceptional at every level and every need attended to. As her Power of attorney, I had the difficult decision to make for her safety and well-being and the choice of Creggan Bahn more than met that requirement. This is a welcoming haven as a feeling of goodwill and kindness permeates throughout , My friend received end of life care in a loving and dignified manner and my wife and I could not have got through these difficult times without the support of everyone.

My mum spent her last year in Creggan Bahn. And what a very happy year it was. The staff from manager to domestic are absolutely top notch. For both residents and visitors (meringues and a cup of tea anyone). Making the decision to put my mum into a care home was the hardest one I've ever made. However,
from the very start, I knew we had made the right choice in Creggan Bahn. It felt like home, with the staff as extended family. I think for Mum, we became her second family, with staff being her first. Even in her final hours, the care given to my mum, myself and other family was phenomenal. I would highly recommend anyone making the decision we did, just over a year ago, should have this place at the top of their list. Would give more stars, if I could. Thank you all.

My mother has now been a resident in Creggan Bahn Court for 18 months and, without doubt, I can highly recommend the Care and Nursing care that she has received - to the point that both her mental and physical health appear to be better than when she was laterally living at home.
Prior to choosing
a Nursing Home, relatives have a huge fear that they are making the right decision because some homes have received a bad press - this is definitely not the situation with Creggan Bahn.
I have never had any grievances, and if I have any questions or queries, they are dealt with straight away and nothing is too much trouble.
All the staff from top to bottom are very personable, friendly, kind, caring and helpful.
To conclude, Creggan Bahn is a fantastic place to live out the sunset of your life - in luxury with good food and home comforts and with a first class Medical Team who can attend to all your needs.
