We moved our 'fairly reluctant' mum into the wharf at the beginning of the year, but after a couple of weeks, the love, care shown to her by literally all the staff had persuaded her that it really was the best option for her. As her mobility deteriorated, their care became even more vital and she was
always treated with respect, dignity and cheerfulness. (She loved a giggle) The nurses always kept us well informed and looked after her right until the end. Thank you all.

From the very first meeting when we came to view the wharf nursing home we were met with nothing but friendlyness and professionalism from the start. Throughout my brothers stay he had the highest level of care and compassion we could have wished for, we cannot thank you all enough.

We were very happy with the care that the Windsor Court team provided over the four years that mum was resident.
They were always considerate of her needs, even as these became more difficult over time due to her failing health.
Team members were always approachable and friendly and took time above
and beyond to support mum. We also appreciated the positive influence that the manager brought to the home since starting, along with other key team members who had a very positive effect on mum's care.

Dad moved in March this year.
He is enjoying all the activities that are on offer, he especially enjoyed the boat trip on the sheerness canal and enjoys all the music events.
He loves the food, a cooked breakfast every day.
The staff are all lovely with him exchanging banter which he loves.
Overall
very satisfied.

Excellent standards of Care, the Care Staff are always friendly and upbeat even when they're extremely busy - which is often. They show huge amounts of empathy and compassion for the Residents and always promote independence where possible. The Wharf is always clean and smells fresh but retains a homely
atmosphere. The food is outstanding - very similar to eating in a high end restaurant. A lot of effort is put into activities and lifestyle for Residents and it's wonderful to see Staff and Residents taking part in group activities, outings and sitting outside in the beautiful garden enjoying the sun. Management have always been very professional and approachable - and their high standards of care are demonstrated throughout the entire home.

Staff are always welcoming, professional and respectful. They show a keen interest in mom's personal life, when coming back from outings or family gatherings, they enjoy hearing what she's been doing and are so pleased that she's had a lovely time.

When things aren't going so well for mom, they

are straight on to the issue and keep us informed. They actively chase medical follow ups on our behalf.

We feel part of a larger family now and the pressure of looking after mom 24/7 has been lifted so we can just enjoy the time we have together.

My wife has been a resident at Windsor Court since it opened nearly 4 years ago. There have been some very difficult times with the covid restrictions, the failure of national governments to honour promised assistance and staff recruitment problems. The recent situation regarding the imposition of national
insurance levies will cause more problems and they will increase costs and fees substantially. This home has been managed in a very pleasant, efficient and professional manor. The ethos and management are excellent and welcoming. I have no hesitation in recommending it to potential clients. Thank you all.

I find the facility spotless. The staff are honestly caring with the residents. While these issues are very important I have found the food consistently excellent. I can honestly say, the food has confirmed my decision to keep mum here. I'm grateful to the chef and staff for their dedication.

It's taken a while to write this because I have been waiting awhile for some issues we had while Dad was in there, to be sorted, but they still haven't. He went in there because he went off his feet and there was not enough available care in the community for his needs, local district nurses got him
a place in there, my Dad was supposedly on End of life care, but he was treated just as an elderly gent rather than being a very ill gent. I truly believe the care he received was not adequate, It definitely isn't the place for someone so ill. There seems to be a lack of understanding and empathy, I also think there is a language barrier in some cases, I'm sure that there are not enough staff because buzzers are going for ages. We used to say things to the staff, like Dads in pain or he needs someone to look at him, this might be on a Sunday and the reply would be, okay the Doctor is coming on Wednesday. The overall appearance of the place is lovely but the care was poor.

Nurses very good. Carers very good. Housekeeping, hospitality, activities good. Admin/reception good. My wife, the resident, is bound to her bed so cannot partake in most activities. The newer activities staff seem to be more proactive in bringing activities/company into her room. Staff always appear
cheerful and responsive. A few months ago there seemed to be a shortage of staff so slow response, either due to holidays, sickness, or rota arrangements but in recent times it is less noticeable. I cannot comment on value for money. It seems expensive but I have no benchmark.

From the moment we first visited The Wharf Care Home, we knew it was something special. The warmth, professionalism, and genuine compassion shown by every member of staff is simply outstanding. The atmosphere is welcoming, peaceful, and filled with a sense of community that makes residents - and their
families - feel truly at ease.

The team goes above and beyond not just in meeting daily needs, but in offering personal attention, engaging activities, and emotional support that makes a world of difference. The rooms are clean, bright, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that help each resident feel at home.

We are so grateful for the exceptional care provided here. It's clear that staff treat residents like family - with dignity, kindness, and respect. The Wharf is not just a care home; it's a place where people are valued, nurtured, and genuinely cared for. Thank you for all you do!

On the whole my relative was cared for. At times elements of care were sadly lacking depending on various factors affecting the home that day e.g. staffing, other residents, events on that day. I would have liked my relatives spiritual needs to be considered more. I often felt, particularly at weekends
the ratio of staff to residents was insufficient, making it a different atmosphere. The staff intentions were well meaning. My relative had there respect form wishes met at times of infection. I was consulted in regarding upholding their respect wishes. On the whole the staff understood how to manage dementia & altzheimer residents. Support for the relatives is something that should be considered by a specialist nurse. The home becomes the constant for your relative but having someone to talk to, to understand the emotions you go through when visiting is vital. The longer they are in care the more you go through, to cope with each visit.

Firstly, I want to give you a massive thank you for the care and attention both management and staff have showed and given to me during my short stay. I have to say at the beginning I was a little unsure but that quickly changed. The short stay has helped with the recovery from a major operation. Again,
my thanks to everybody.

I cannot express how grateful I am for the care Windsor Court provided for my wonderful Grandmother. The staff approached her and the rest of my family with person-centeredness, sensitivity and love. We all felt so welcome when visiting, including my Grandmother's very young Great Grandchildren who
loved visiting Windsor Court and sitting in the bistro area with her. Despite having very complex care needs, she was looked after wonderfully and the staff worked so hard collaboratively with us as a family and outside care services to ensure she got the very best care. The food provided was exceptional and the chef did everything to deliver delicious and bespoke meals for my Grandmother's changing needs. The rooms are kept beautifully clean and the staff always have a friendly smile on their face. Thank you so much!

The carers and the support staff are friendly and professional, and always cheerful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The bistro on the ground floor is a welcoming space for both visitors and residents. The upstairs lounge is elegant and with a restful atmosphere. I feel my husband is very, very

My husband died recently at The Wharf Nursing Home. He had only been there a short time. For many months previously I had been, desperately, trying to get Social Services to accept that he needed nursing care. When he arrived at The Wharf he was enveloped with love and care. His food was good quality
and adjusted to his needs, likes, and ability to eat. His room was adjusted for his safety and enjoyment and those of his visitors. The carers were kind and understanding of his condition. Sadly his dementia, suffered for many years, had finally taken its toll. We were supported in my husband's final few days by the staff. He died surrounded by care and kindness. Thank goodness we had managed to move him to 'The Wharf '. Thank you to all of the wonderful, professional, loving staff.

Windsor Court worked rapidly and efficiently with the hospice and home team to arrange emergency 2-week respite for my mother. The transition experience was exceptional with every complex need and requirement listened to and activated. My mother is now permanently at WC. Every single member of staff

A very warm welcome by all members of staff. Everyone gives time to actively listen to residents and visitors. Staff are very accessible and obliging. Kind, excellent nursing and care. Activities are varied and well-organised. Very sensitive and creative chefs, catering for specific needs - delicious,
nutritious meals. Encouragement given to make the spacious rooms homely, friendly and expert hospitality. The design and surroundings of the building are safe, tasteful and comfortable. The spiritual needs of residents are well met. A very 'whole' and reassuring experience.
