Friendly & courteous staff

Staff are helpful, nice and friendly.

The rooms are of a nice spacious size.

Some rooms could do with a lick of paint but needs doing properly to bring the decoration up to standard.

The Devonshire is cross between being in hospital and being in your own home with onsite support.

The food is nice and varied.

If your dog is well behaved then you are welcomed to bring your dog.

Richie is very very nice and helpful lady. She does a lot. For this care home and residence. She is a treasure. Everyone loves her. Bless her. The care for my brother Sanjay is excellent.

Very nice lady looks after my friend so well always got a smile on her face. Very good care home people looked after with care.

My mother is generally very well cared for.

The overall service is good. Attention should be given to the alarms which seem to go on for ages. If reception is not staffed getting in can be hard as nobody answers the alarms.

I find staff and carers very friendly and caring. Always open to ideas. Laundry should be brought to be washed more frequently. A bench infront at the parking would be nice for residents to rest on while waiting for taxis or other transports. Otherwise I would recommend The Devonshire care home. Thank you for the good work and service you provide.

In the last 3 month I have seen a big change for the better under the new manager. Also in activities, and days out and meals out and also much better contact with the clients in the day room. My sister is very content and happy and long may it last.

Overall, very happy with the care my father has been receiving. He seems happy in himself, saying that he is well looked after, and likes where he is, which gives me and my brother peace of mind. The staff are excellent in all they do.

Today, I attended a resident and family get-together with staff and residents. I could not have been more impressed with input provided by the staff, each member describing their role in the organisation and how they see the care centre moving forward in the future. The new management set-up is most impressive, displaying an in-depth knowledge of the nursing needs of residents and the training arrangements to develop staff skills further, with invitation for family members to come along also.

Very professional, friendly staff. The staff are all very caring. Unfortunately, the lounge on 'Cherry Blossom' on the 2nd flower is in deparate need of a complete refurbishment. All other lounges have been refurbished. When is 'Cherry Blossom' lounge due to be refurbished?

Staff took the time to talk and discuss any issues that we may have had .

Our first visit yesterday and we were delighted with our experience. The welcome and hospitality was first class and we enjoyed meeting all the staff, in particular 2 members of staff who look after our aunt. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Other residents wandering into mum's room which really agitates her and starts her psychotic behaviour and hallucinations.

I wrote a review as I got a parking ticket as you must put your number plate in the machine. However I have just spoken to the lovely manager who explained why they had to do this and if anyone gets a ticket please see her. This a lovely care home and the staff are wonderful.

My father is very happy at The Devonshire. Delighted with all the staff, they all look after him impeccably. Can't say more than that!

I come and see my friend. She is well looked after and says she is happy here. She loves the garden and staff.
