A two week stay at Pinewood was just what I needed to help me recover from a knee replacement operation.
I live alone in a house with stairs so felt ready to face that after being so well looked after, with a nutritious diet and encouragement to carry out the exercises required for recovery.

Pinewood is always a friendly, welcoming home to visit. All staff are extremely helpful, willing to offer advice. Gatherings are perfectly organised and enjoyed by residents and guests. All rooms are well furnished and kept in perfect order. Many thanks to all staff. There are many activities offered

My grandmother is well looked after at Pinewood. The carers are very kind and helpful and Granny feels safe. She loves it here and we love the staff. The entertainment for my Granny is fantastic. The afternoon tea party was so wonderful.

Dad has been in Pinewood since March this year. He was impressed by the home and the staff on the day he came to view.
The staff cannot be kinder, nothing is too much trouble and I no longer have no worry that Dad is on his own. Thank you everyone.

I'm happy with how I've been looked after. Night staff very good. All staff have been helpful and kind. Rooms need attention as carpet decor old.

I have been a resident here for 2 months. On respite with a broken leg. I have found it very pleasant, food good 99% staff delightful. Do not like toilet in room with just a net curtain, not private enough. Staff come in the door and curtain blown up. Gardens could do with a good makeover.

Mum has been at Pinewood for the past two years and in that time she has had such wonderful care from all of the staff. We are extremely grateful for the dedicated staff ensuring Mum is in a safe and comfortable place. There are weekly visits from a hairdresser which all ladies love, hopefully when
there are long periods of absence due to holiday these could be covered in the future. Overall we are delighted with the services provided and heartfelt thanks to everyone.

Pinewood is a welcoming and pleasant residential facility with friendly and caring staff and management. The main issue with the facility is that it's dated and tired and could do with a major freshen-up. Whilst centrally located, parking can be a major issue but appears to have improved recently.

My father is a resident as he was too much for me at home. The carers and all the staff are magnificent and so genuinely caring. Dad is very happy and I think this has been really good for him and he's met lots of new friends.

The parents moved here in January 2023 and they were made to feel very welcome and secure quickly. They are very well looked after laundry and food etc. However, Mum's hygiene could be better but unfortunately, the staff can't force her to shower. The staff are all so nice, helpful and friendly.

My mother-in-law had nothing but praise for everyone at Pinewood. She said the staff couldn't have been more helpful. When we first went to visit Pinewood, we sat down with the manager who immediately put my mother-in-law at ease. Showed her around etc, and she felt very comfortable knowing where she
