The Staff here in Yohden are wonderful. They took care of my wife. They go above & beyond. I would recommend this home to anyone.

A recent high turnover of staff and use of agency workers has impacted on moral knowing residents and nursing staff. Agency staff have not always seemed to be aware of procedures and individual needs of residents. I had to raise issues that my resident was being dressed in thick jumpers and trousers during very high temperatures on several occasions. I was requested to remove winter clothing temporarily to avoid this. Activities have become greatly reduced and sometimes nonexistent, which I hope can be resolved as this is the highlight of my resident's day. My resident is often short of incontinence aids and we are chasing these for him. I was told by the manager he can only have 4 per day. He has not been reassessed in over a year. Plans and yearly revisits would be helpful and good for sharing information in. Staff care well for him and he enjoys socialising with them when he can.

My wife has been resident for only 1 week but it's evident the management have the right ethic, nothing is too much trouble and this is filtered down to all staff. Very impressed.

After going through an unsettled period, when the new manager was brought in, many care staff left the home, and the manager had to rely on a lot of agency staff. Since then, new staff have been appointed and training and procedures have been much improved. The home is now staffed by committed, loyal 'orginal' carers and newly appointed staff members who are settling in well. The manager is very approachable and encourages relatives to report any concerns they may have about the care their loved one receives, and then acts to address those concerns. My mam is happy and settled living in the home

Overall very pleased with how the care my husband receives. New manager is very approchable and he is there if I have any issues with anything

Staff were brilliant & very helpful. Good food, facilities very good. Very clean.

We have already booked in for another 2 week break in May .

At Yoden Hall staff are one big asset.

Amazing staff. Everyone bends over backwards to give support, mum has been given great care, she is treated with dignity and respect. We have been supported as a family too.

We could not ask for more from this care. The facilities are quality and spacious. Truly, it's the attentive, considerate and professional staff that have made us feel assured and supported in the care of our mother.

My stepmother has been in your care since the 8th January 2026 since being discharged from hospital. She thinks all staff are friendly, polite, professional and treat her with the utmost respect.

My mother has been at rose lodge for several years now and suffers with dementia. I am so grateful for everything the staff do seeing my mother smiling laughing and singing and being happy means so much she is always doing activities organised by the home and staff are always friendly.

Communication is excellent from all staff and they all work together so that Field View is a caring, happy and comfortable place for the residents. I have never had any concerns about Mams care and wellbeing and am happy that we chose the best possible care home for her.

I would not hesitate to recommend Rose Lodge to anyone who is at that age where their wellbeing becomes massively important and labour intense ,the staff at Rose Lodge are hard working and caring people and are very approachable to talk to .

As a friend of one of your residents i have noticed that my friend is being well cared for and is treated with respect and dignity- there is a wide variety of food available and regular refreshments! The reception staff are always cheerful and helpful- there are activities available if you want to join in with things - my friend tells me he feels safe and well cared for at Yohden Hall Care Home,

My mam couldn't be in a better care home we can leave her knowing that she is being well cared for she is happy and I wouldn't like to think she was anywhere else. The carers are good and understand my Mams needs and she is happy which is the main thing.

The staff and carers were absolutely first class. They cared for me totally. The became friends as well as carers. Without these people I would not be where I am today. Waiting to move into my own apartment and being in the best of health. I will always be grateful to them and remember them.
