I find a warm and friendly atmosphere in the home, the staff are all pleasant and very professional. My mam thinks it is a top class hotel where the staff are more like friends.
Mam didn't socialise much but is spending more time in the day room and dining room which I find good for her. If she has
a bad day the staff don't have a problem taking the food to her room. The food must be good as my mam is a fussy eater but she's eating OK.
The laundry staff are on the ball and very helpful. The cleaners are around daily and I've noticed are very considerate and pleasant in the residents space.
All in all mams happy so I'm happy and it's down to the happy atmosphere created by all the staff.
Last but not least management are friendly and informative and keep you in the loop and are very approachable.
THANK YOU FIELD VIEW.

My mother was on the dementia unit at the home for 8 weeks. There was never any staff shortages and always plenty of staff to help feed anyone that needed support. I have moved my mother to Willowdene from another home and it was the best thing I have every done. This home is excellent in my opinion.

My mother-in-law moved to the care home in July 2025. She has received exemplary care from all the staff. Both she and her family have been well looked after. The kindness and empathy shown by the staff will stay with us forever. My mother-in-law died recently; her end-of-life care was second to none.
We couldn't wish for a better death, dying peacefully. As a family we will treasure the memories made prior to her death. Words cannot thank you enough for all the care, love, dignity shown to her end and her family. Thank you.

My mam has been at Field View for almost 5 years, she has always been happy living there. Her dementia is now very advanced and she is receiving end of life care. A lot of the members of staff have been there since she moved in and know her well which reassures her. Although she is asleep a lot of the
time now she is always clean and comfortable and treated with great kindness and respect.
Communication is excellent from all staff and they all work together so that Field View is a caring, happy and comfortable place for the residents. I have never had any concerns about Mams care and wellbeing and am happy that we chose the best possible care home for her.

My father has been in Rose Lodge for 4 years now and he loves it there, he lived on his own prior to his move into care. He now enjoys all the company of the other residents and looks forward to all the activities , its gave him independence within the home with the security that someone is there 24/7
for all his needs.
As a daughter, the staff keep me informed of his health and wellbeing making my life easier as we all know when a parent gets into old age times become hard for the family too.
I would not hesitate to recommend Rose Lodge to anyone who is at that age where their wellbeing becomes massively important and labour intense ,the staff at Rose Lodge are hard working and caring people and are very approachable to talk to .

I went into Rose Lodge in October 2024, with very poor mental health. I had delirium and couldn't do nothing for myself.
The staff and carers were absolutely first class. They cared for me totally. The became friends as well as carers. Without these people I would not be where I am today. Waiting
to move into my own apartment and being in the best of health. I will always be grateful to them and remember them.

My mother was in the home for only 2 weeks for palliative care before she passed away. All the staff we met and dealt with were so supportive and caring, not only to my mother but also to my wife and son and I. One member of staff in particular was very supportive, for which we were very grateful. Super
care home, and where my mother wanted to be.

Prior to admission, contact was made by manager, which was reassuring. Mum settled in well and all her needs were met whilst at the home. I had some concerns about the delay in commencing a drug treatment managed by the GP surgery connected to the home, but the nursing home staff were on the case to
get it rectified so the treatment could start.
However, I feel she was discharged too early (encouraged by the hospital social worker to have 2 weeks of carers left of her care package) - but was readmitted to hospital 2 weeks later! (Needed a tavi within a tavi.)

My Mam receives excellent care and attention from the staff at the Care Home. She has all her meals specially made as she has a swallowing problem. This has enabled her to receive the nutrition she needs and has brought to an end her constant sickness when eating. I attribute this improvement to
the vigilance of the staff whoo organised her a Hospital investigation. I had been unable to achieve this for her through her previous GP when she was living at home. As a result of this, she has galined weight and is much stronger than when she first moved in to Care. She can walk with the aid of the Zimmer frame

Willowdene Care Home provided exceptional care for my grandad, treating him with the utmost respect, dignity and compassion. The staff were kind, attentive and always went above and beyond to ensure his comfort. Knowing he was in such great hands gave us great peace of mind. He came home in such high
