my husband went for respite for 2 weeks in april unfortunately while he was there he went downhill after an infection and i was unable to bring home as he became immobile. He is being well looked after but i don't think he knows where he is. The staff are good to him and the nurses listen to you if
you have any concerns

My Aunt has always been treated with care, dignity, respect and most importantly with laughter.
The care she has received has been excellent, she is looking healthy and all her needs are met consistently.
The activities provided are stimulating and offer her lots of opportunities to interact with
other residents.
Staff are professional, friendly and caring, they show dedication to ensuring all the residents are cared for as if they were members of their own family.

My sister has been in Dussindale Park for the past 9 years
she is very well cared for and I have had very few complaints over the years
She is kept very clean and her room is always clean no nasty smells. The staff are
always very friendly and take care of her very well. The management team are
all
very helpful especially the manager and one other lady. Nursing staff also extreamly helpful and keep me updated with my sisters health. This home is very well run and if I do have any complaints they are dealt with very Quickly. I am very pleased I chose this home for my sister as her care is very good and all her needs are dealt with and they make her comfortable as she is totally reliant on them. During her 80-day hospital stay, I was informed that given my wife's needs, I would not be able to care for her at home, and having experienced during the past 3 months, Dussindale's (the Dale) provided professional and personal care and attention, and the specialist knowledge and facilities, I can
now say that the right decision was made - for her Care to be at the Dale.
The facilities are very good, (personalised room, bathrooms, restaurant, lounges - all clean and fresh), then there are the daily activities, to never ending 'on demand' drinks and freshly prepared foods, and of course, there is continual over-arching nursing attention.
It is the Dale Team that makes it work - it's a 'can do' attitude, making my wife comfortable in all respects. Quite simply, they know what they are doing, what to do, when to do it - and do it all with care, patience, and a smile!
I am certain the manager will always make sure it remains '5 star' for her residents - thank you to all!!

I would like to thank all the staff for the empathy, care and dignity that they gave/showed my father in his final days with them.
His stay was brief, as expected, but the homely atmosphere and the positiveness of all the staff, nothing was too much trouble and I know he appreciated that very much.
I
would also like to thank them in the way they supported us as a family, at this sad time.

My husband moved to Dussindale Park earlier this year. The staff have made both myself and him very welcome. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Every thing is always clean and tidy, any mishaps are dealt with straight away. After accidentally setting off emergency alarm staff were there within seconds.

My mother was at The Hawthorns for two and a half years and was given an incredible party when she was one hundred years old. The staff were extremely patient and caring. We moved my mother into Mary Chapman Court a year ago, she spent three months in hospital prior to this, in this time we visited various care homes, non matched Mary Chapman, a year on our opinion has not changed. My mother is happy, she tells us so, mother has dementia and the staff care of her cannot
be faulted. We know the staff and they know us, every visit someone will give an update on my mother, we recently had a holiday, leaving mum in the care of Mary Chapman gave us peace of mind.

Following lots of staff changes in the last 9 months we feel things are on the up for my mum. My mum was a keen gardener but since staff had been laid off things outside went down hill and the latest contractors seem like butchers. Very happy with the new manager, lot more focus and this is reflected
in the staff.

Hawthorns care home Norwich has proved yo be the best choice, we as a family could have made for our dear Dementia stricken Mum of 91 years young. Hawthorns is homely, cosy, very caring to its residents. The activities 7 days a week, are really amazing. All manner of things to do for residents, mornings
and afternoons alike. A really great, creative and well put together programme, with plenty of encouragement, inclusivity and support from the activity staff. To have a Nurse there 24/7, is of huge importance and value, and the staff from cleaners, cooks, care team alike are very nice, engaging and very helpful.
