Every staff member displayed such care, kindness, compassion, respect, professionalism and understanding to both my mum and our family members during this difficult time. Totally amazing care home led by a great management team.

From the moment mum arrived at Gateford Hill, the staff made her welcome, putting her at ease and ensuring all her needs were met. All staff were extremely helpful, professional and polite in the handling and care of mum during her time in resident. Family were always made to feel welcome and were kept informed of mums care and treatment at all times. Thank you seems such a small compliment when you consider how good Gateford Hill is and we shall be forever grateful for the care and support.

The management team is obviously very good as all staff are incredible.

Staff at Belvoir Vale are very attentive, they take a personal interest in each resident and are concerned for their comfort, welfare and happiness. There are regular activities to take part in if a resident wants too, but no pressure to do so if they don't. The food is good. Drinks and snacks are regularly offered throughout the day and can be had at anytime if asked for. Relatives are welcomed and treated with friendly respect. The home is kept clean, has a pleasant atmosphere, smells fresh and is bright and airy. The staff work hard to achieve this. There is a good sized dinning room and three smaller lounge areas for residents to socialise or they may remain in their rooms if they wish. There are also two nice gardens with seats and shades for sunny days. The bedrooms are a nice size with room for some of the residents own possessions if they want. Wherever they choose to spend their time residents are not forgotten by the staff who check on their welfare regularly during the day.

I can't praise Belvoir Vale enough. I get wonderful care and throughly enjoy the company.

All staff have been amazing, the care and compassion they have for each resident including family is second to none. During our last hours with my Mamma they were respectful and ensured her dignity was maintained at all times. The support they showed when we lost her will always be remembered and greatly appreciated.

Thank you for providing such compassionate and caring end of life care to my Grandmother. Thank you also to the staff for providing support and kindness to my family during this time, especially in supporting my Aunty and Cousin in June's remaining time with us. You ensured her room was beautifully decorated and ready for her and ensured her remaining time with us she was well looked after. The family will be forever grateful.

My father was very concerned at going into care in Feb 26. I am delighted to say he has settled really well. This is in great part due to the staff and management who seem to take great pride in their work. The manager is always available if I have any concerns regarding my fathers ongoing health. After looking after father myself for several years I feel now I can relax knowing Dad is in good and safe hands.

We are very pleased with the care Dad receives at Belvoir Vale. He is very happy here.

Following the death of my brother in August 2024, and the realisation of the mental state of my sister-in-law, we, as a family, applied to Belvoir Vale on the recommendation of local people. Overall we have been very satisfied with her care during the last year. We do not live anywhere neath Nottingham, and are not able to visit her very often. Although she usually threatens to leave the Home at the earliest opportunity, she is always complementary about the staff and conditions. What was particularly noticeable after our most recent visit was her, to use a Swansea expression, general "tidyness"!

We are truly and forever grateful for everything you did for her and for us. We know she would have felt the same.

My mum is here now for respite care but I would move in tomorrow!!!!

We are so grateful for the exceptional care our grandad received. The staff provided truly personalised attention, always talking the time to understand his needs and ensure he was comfortable. The home was always spotless and welcoming, and we really appreciated the regular updates on his health, which kept us reassured and informed. The kindness professionalism, and dedication of everyone there made a difficult time much easier for our family. We cannot thank the staff at Gareford Hill Care Home enough.

I stayed at Gateford Hill for over 9 weeks recovering from a broken ankle. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and consideration shown to me, by everyone here. The personal care was always done with compassion and kindness, and allowed me to keep my dignity. Everyone on the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Add to that excellent food, unlimited cups of tea and admirable cleanliness - you can see why I was sorry to leave!

This is a home first care home family.
