Overall Experience

My mum has been at Princess Lodge Care Centre almost five years now. She has Alzheimer's. In her previous situation she was sad and unmotivated after the loss of her husband who she misses so very much. After moving to Princess Lodge and settling in, we noticed a marked improvement in her mood, and

her general state of interest in daily activities. She is content now. We have been impressed with the level of care she receives, for her mental & physical health and general wellbeing. Her room is kept clean and tidy. The staff encourage her to be involved in the social activities, they are kind and friendly, and everyone is always positive. In addition, the staff have gone above and beyond to enable my sister and myself to communicate with mum from the USA using video conferencing. We each have an arrangement to chat once a week, and the staff set mum up in front of a computer, it's easy and it has been so lovely to see her now that she cannot manage her phone anymore :)

Overall Experience

Brunel is an exceptional care home, made extra special by the fantastic staff and management team. It has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere and they look after their residents and families so well. Mum really enjoys all of the activities and outings and the lifestyle team are very special! you for looking after mum so well. I would not hesitate to recommend Brunel to anyone!

Overall Experience

Barely slept the last few nights - day and night residents entering my room. These are residents that constantly wander and can become abusive and aggressive. My room has a gate. Not to keep me in but to keep them out. It doesn't work. I asked why these residents didn't have gates to keep them in their

rooms. Was told they couldn't be restricted but I'm expected to keep my gate across which makes me feel like a prisoner in my own room. I now refuse to do so. I am very upset about this home. I didn't want to come here in the first place - now I know why the bad reputation.

I'm so pleased that my mother in law Doreen sidey is living at princess lodge, the the care and devoted attention is lovely, nothing is too much for the staff, they will help and explain things to you, it's a warm family feel, princess lodge took me and my mother in law under their wing, and have

supported us, 30 yrs caring for my mother in law, it's so nice to know that she is cared for and comfortable, I'd recommend princess lodge to anyone, goergia, Rachel, Angela, Gaby, Immanuel, Natalia, just all the staff are absolutely lovely, Gail xxxxx

Overall Experience

My mother died at Brunel House this week.
The rest of your homes should use Brunel as a blueprint for the best care of both residents and family. Mums death was very quick but your staff not only took time to look after Mum but also us, as family. The speed of Mums death was a shock but I can't fault

all the home did. We we consolled, not just by carers, but also cleaners, maintenance and chefs.

Overall Experience

Grandad now needs full time care. My family were informed of Kings Court Care Home and we didn't know what to expect. The moment I walked into the home, I was more than impressed. The home is beautifully clean, spacious, has good facilities, and I love the relaxed atmosphere. Most of all, the staff

are wonderful, every one of them. Always a warm welcome from the reception team and office staff, and large praise and thanks to the care staff who attend to Grandad's needs. Nothing is ever too much trouble. My family and I can go home after a visit, knowing Grandad is in safe hands and with our minds at rest, looking forward to another visit.

Meeting appointment set up easily. Greeted by all cordially & courteously. Meeting went well, with staff understanding and sympathising with the situation, advising the next steps to be taken. Given calling card of main management member and they are happy to be contacted if more assistance is required.

left the premises feeling reassured and confident of a positive outcome for our long-term resident relative.

Overall Experience

What I enjoyed about Kings Court Care Centre was that the staff are all very caring, patient, kind and approachable. The atmosphere in the home made you feel comfortable to be there and have confidence that my mum would be well looked after, and she was!
I can highly recommend KCCC. I have great admiration

for those who work there. It is not easy work, but they give all they can to those who need their help. A big thank you!

Overall Experience

Mum was at Princess Lodge for two years. At first, she was encouraged and able to join in with activities, and she made a few friends. During her second year there, she was less able to join in and eventually became bedbound. Throughout all her time there she was treated courteously and caringly by

all the staff. They were always friendly and welcoming, and seemed to want the best for her. Mum could be a little awkward at time,s but they still treated her patiently. She had a nice room.

My dad went into princess Lodge. I was so worried about him going in but after a few weeks he was fine and I was OK with it. All the staff were so fantastic and they all loved my dad as he was a character. Unfortunately he passed away a few weeks ago. The staff work so hard to make sure everyone is

OK. The atmosphere in there is so calm and we got to know the other residents so much so that we still want to visit. If anyone is thinking of putting a family member in there I would highly recommend them and I would do it all again

Since being at Princess Lodge mums life has improved beyond all expectations. She is now happy ,around people and no longer lonely, most importantly she is safe.She is kept clean and the care is way beyond what she was previously receiving in the community. My sister lived in Princess lodge for 3 years until she passed away in August 2024
She was treated with respect and kindness.. she was always happy with every aspect of the care home.. All her needs were met with care and kindness.. knowing this enabled us as a family to feel secure in the knowledge

she was happy, even in the most difficult times.
We would recommend princess lodge for this reason.. The staff were amazing from the maintenance staff right up to the management team .. A special mention to the nursing staff and care assistants who did go above and behind to meet my sisters complicated needs..

All the staff are well-trained, efficient and friendly. Always willing to help and polite.Very clean. When you visit from the main door, everyone has a smile, which is very welcoming. The activities team are excellent with the residents. Again, very cheerful and friendly. There has been a change in

the food. Presented well and a good variety of lovely sauces with meals. Excellent. I have no problems and would recommend Kings Court.
