Overall Experience

Princess lodge has completely changed things for me, I cared for my mother in law, (Doreen) for 30yrs. Princess lodge is a lovely family feel about it, nothing is too much for the staff, they are always so lovely and welcoming, my mother in law is so well cared for, I'm 100% happy with the care. Manager

Immanuel, nim, Gaby, Rachel, Angela and jorgia help with anything you need to know. All staff are so lovely, I'm so happy my mother in law is there, it's warm, caring, just a lovely home for a loved one. Gail xx

I'm sorry to say.I previously made a review which unfortunately I agreed to not have it published. I never retracted my opinion. I will only make statements about what I have observed and happened to me.There is a lot of here say.I have not only been physically and verbally attacked.That is from the

residents. I have also been verbally assaulted by staff and on one than more occasions in front of other residents.Unfortunately, I was keeping records but when told and reassured by management I destroyed them.I am now keeping records again.I feel my care is compromised due to me being honest. I don't get asked if I want breakfast. It may seem pathetic about breakfast but I don't eat due to my cancer.I still have residents entering my room day and night, I feel that 01.45hrs is unacceptable and that is just a start.I am considering a move elsewhere as I am terminally ill and having no sleep and having to have a gate to stop residents coming into my room is unacceptable,im a prisoner.

Overall Experience

My mother died at Brunel House this week.
The rest of your homes should use Brunel as a blueprint for the best care of both residents and family. Mums death was very quick but your staff not only took time to look after Mum but also us, as family. The speed of Mums death was a shock but I can't fault

all the home did. We we consolled, not just by carers, but also cleaners, maintenance and chefs.

Overall Experience

Grandad now needs full time care. My family were informed of Kings Court Care Home and we didn't know what to expect. The moment I walked into the home, I was more than impressed. The home is beautifully clean, spacious, has good facilities, and I love the relaxed atmosphere. Most of all, the staff

are wonderful, every one of them. Always a warm welcome from the reception team and office staff, and large praise and thanks to the care staff who attend to Grandad's needs. Nothing is ever too much trouble. My family and I can go home after a visit, knowing Grandad is in safe hands and with our minds at rest, looking forward to another visit.

Meeting appointment set up easily. Greeted by all cordially & courteously. Meeting went well, with staff understanding and sympathising with the situation, advising the next steps to be taken. Given calling card of main management member and they are happy to be contacted if more assistance is required.

left the premises feeling reassured and confident of a positive outcome for our long-term resident relative.

Overall Experience

What I enjoyed about Kings Court Care Centre was that the staff are all very caring, patient, kind and approachable. The atmosphere in the home made you feel comfortable to be there and have confidence that my mum would be well looked after, and she was!
I can highly recommend KCCC. I have great admiration

for those who work there. It is not easy work, but they give all they can to those who need their help. A big thank you!

Overall Experience

Mum was at Princess Lodge for two years. At first, she was encouraged and able to join in with activities, and she made a few friends. During her second year there, she was less able to join in and eventually became bedbound. Throughout all her time there she was treated courteously and caringly by

all the staff. They were always friendly and welcoming, and seemed to want the best for her. Mum could be a little awkward at time,s but they still treated her patiently. She had a nice room.

My dad went into princess Lodge. I was so worried about him going in but after a few weeks he was fine and I was OK with it. All the staff were so fantastic and they all loved my dad as he was a character. Unfortunately he passed away a few weeks ago. The staff work so hard to make sure everyone is

OK. The atmosphere in there is so calm and we got to know the other residents so much so that we still want to visit. If anyone is thinking of putting a family member in there I would highly recommend them and I would do it all again

Since being at Princess Lodge mums life has improved beyond all expectations. My sister lived in Princess lodge for 3 years until she passed away in August 2024
She was treated with respect and kindness.. she was always happy with every aspect of the care home.. All her needs were met with care and kindness.. knowing this enabled us as a family to feel secure in the knowledge

she was happy, even in the most difficult times.
We would recommend princess lodge for this reason.. The staff were amazing from the maintenance staff right up to the management team .. A special mention to the nursing staff and care assistants who did go above and behind to meet my sisters complicated needs..
