Overall Experience

I wish I had enough words to describe my admiration for this wonderful team of caring people, who look after my husband so well. They keep me informed about any concerns they have. They are kind and caring. There was a burst pipe in the home a week before Christmas, and everyone carried on with their

duties and preparations even though there were extra problems to sort out. I am always greeted with a smile. They treat my husband with compassion, kindness and good humour. . I am so grateful he has 24 hour care in this lovely place. The chefs make every effort with food, even though he now eats very little. The nurses are very professional. I love the singing, the smiles, the activities. And Christmas was delightful. Many many thanks to all of you . I would, and do, recommend this home at every available opportunity.

Overall Experience

This is the first time we have used a care home, and the staff have all been amazing and put our minds completely at ease. They are all an absolute credit to your company. The food is excellent, and the variety of activities you offer. Everywhere is always spotlessly clean, and it feels so homely. Management

are all so helpful, and nothing is ever too much. I couldn't recommend this care home more and wouldn't hesitate to use you again. Thank you all so much.

Came here in February 2025 . The rooms are very nice and warm. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of activities for residents. Each room had its own television and bathroom.

Overall Experience

I found that Amber Court is the best place my mum could ever be in. The staff are sociable friendly and they don't pretend to care they actually do!
I was very impressed with the home, I did see others and there is no comparison at all.. it is like home away from home with lots of activities for the

residents.
Amber Court goes out of their way to accommodate residents and family where it is warranted.

Overall Experience

I can't tell you how plased I am with Amber Court. It far exceeds my expectations. It is clean. The staff are wonderful. We like to sit out in the garden on a sunny day. I like the fact that the staff are so cheerful while they are working. I was in pain a couple of times in the night, and within a

short space of time, a nurse appeared to help me. I feel happy and safe.

Overall Experience

I have visited on several occasions this month and every time have been greeted by friendly staff with smiles on their faces. I have always been treated with courtesy and I am given the impression that nothing is too much trouble for them. I help take the resident out by wheelchair and they are always

ready to go and have necessary weather protection with them. The place is always clean and smells nice, unlike my recollection of many years ago of similar places.

I am in Amber Court for years now. Overall I am happy because they provide the care and support I needed. I was admitted here mid of 2020 and very poorly due to COVID and Amber Court help me to recover until I've been independent and well. I can't thank the amber court enough for what they have done

and what they are continuing doing. Now I am I would definitely recommend Amber Court.

Overall Experience

From the initial contact with the management of Acorn House, we have been treated with great care and compassion. My mother was in significant distress after several falls and a hospital stay. Her health and well-being declined rapidly. The support from the team helped us to cope during this challenging

time. Constant reassurance and guidance made the transition from home to care for Mum and our family bearable. She is treated with dignity and compassion.
All staff take time to speak to us and always with a smile. Our comfort is also considered, and we are always asked if we need anything, even though they are busy caring for their residents.
Our concerns are addressed without hesitation. I cannot recommend this home highly enough. They have been the right people at the right time, I cannot thank them enough.

Overall Experience

Outstanding care. We had to find a home for my aunt at short notice so she could be transferred directly. Alexander Court was recommended. We could not have been happier with the care she received. Friendly, professional and so caring. She died (expectedly) after 5 months and with District Nurse Care,

along with the care home she was managed and supported throughout her final days. Thank you so much.
