Visited recently and were really impressed by how our relative was, how she looked and responded to us. Clearly being extremely well cared for by the staff! She has settled well even with her Lewy Body Dementia. This does not just happen, it's being supported properly by skilled staff providing great care and support. All who visit comment on the wonderful staff attitude and obvious skills they have. Well done all the team at Kents Hill.

My mother has been in this care home, since January 2025. From day 1, as a family, we all f that my mother has received the best care and support to date. The food, activities and staff are very good and it always a pleasure to visit my Mum, in this friendly and clean home.

This is my first time having respite and I was dreading it. The team at Buckingham House put me at ease immedatly. I really liked the way the managers door is open & the transparency. I have worked in care most of my adult life and I am aware of the challenges care homes face. I can honestly say I could not fault anything, everything was presented & delivered to an excellent standard

My experience was so much better than aticipated. We arrived to a warm welcome with help. Everyone introduced themselves, the manager came to welcome me, in my room. The care delivered was to a high standard, food excellent. Always invited to activities which were great. My room & wet room met my needs perfectly. Excellent all round.

I have been impressed from the first time I visited and from when mum became a resident in October 2025. The reception staff are so kind and so caring - they were a huge part of my decision to place mum at Kent's Hill. The deputy manager did mum's assessment and again she was so impressive and very personable. She gave me confidence that mum would be in the hands of people with humanity and dignity at the core of what they did. I have found that all staff from the manager; deputy manager; carers; auxiliaries,; nurses; laundry staff, activity organisers, cleaners; chefs and the transport and outings guy have all been people who care and treat residents with courtesy and patience. I found it reassuring that everytime I visited someone would tell me about mum's day and the activities she'd been engaged in. The activity staff managed to get her involved in all sorts and took care to find out what she liked. I also like the fact the home celebrates different cultures and special days.

Both my parents have moved into Lace Hill care home. From start we was all welcomed like we were family. Both parents are settling in very well being encouraged to join in activities that puts a smile on their faces. They love the food (putting on weight) enjoying the company love their room. Everything so far perfect. Thank you all.

Been very impressed since our initial visit to the home. Not only is it appealing to the eye, the staff and managers are always available if there are any concerns, which are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Lace Hill Manor looks and feels like a five star hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming and are encouraging the residents to take part in various activities during day.

The staff are friendly, happy and helpful. As a family they can't do enough to support you through a difficult transition period. A+++ care home - so pleased with Mums new life.

On my regular visits to see my mum, I have only positive experiences to report. Always a friendly reception and all of the staff seem to be. Very caring to the residents, the facilities are always warm and inviting for residents and visitors alike. Keep up the good work!

My mother was admitted late December 2025. My sister and father along with myself had worried about how the transition would go. My mother and father have lived together for over 60 years in their own home but my father at 94 years of age could no longer give my mother the care she required. Although my mother still asks us to take her home we are extremely happy with the care and compassion she has been shown by all the staff and we know she is safe in your care.

I have been incredibly impressed by the care my husband has received since coming to Lace Hill Manor. We're seeing a return of his old character- he is no longer withdrawn and disinterested. He's becoming more confident and joins in with several of the activities. This is great as he thrives on being involved and chatting to people. It's really good to see my husband as he used to be. The care is very thoughtful, encouraging, caring, cleanliness is excellent good food too. Thank you!

The residents are kept stimulated by a wide variety of activities, games, meals all season and holiday appropriate. Visiting is as much for my mother as it is for my 7 year old. I enjoy my visits very much and can see the benefits to my grandmother. Thank you Chartwell Manor!

From the moment I walk through the entrance to the building, I'm greeted by the friendly, helpful and well presented receptionist. I have visited a particular resident many and always feel she is in 'good hands' by the staff I have met and often charred to (asking questions) never feeling 'fobbed off' ... clean, professional, friendly environment, staff seem to take pride in their work.
