Mother transferred from respite care to full time residential mid July and since then we have noticed how well she looks and has started joining in with activities and outings. This was a big step for her but made manageable by the caring staff in Potters House.

It's reassuring to finally feel that my relatives are in a safe and caring environment that can afford them some dignity and allow them to get some pleasure during the latter part of their lives

What stands out most is the refreshments and family get togethers on offer. We are always made to feel incredibly welcome whenever we visit. Knowing he is safe, content, and so well looked after means the world to us. I cannot recommend this care home enough.

Mum also told me she would love to go back again, which says it all.

A really warm and welcoming place, put my father in law at ease from the first minute, also ensured that close family were well looked after, it feels more like a hotel than a care home, every need is catered for

Gillingham Grange in an exceptional care home. My dad has recently moved in, and the service has been amazing. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the facilities are faultless. I couldn't wish for a better place for my Dad, and it gives us the peace of mind that we need as a family. Thank you to everyone there who has made it so welcoming for my dad and the family.

There's a huge sense of relief in knowing that Dad is safe, cared for and, just as importantly, has companionship and social interaction every day. After 3 weeks in hospital recovering from a fractured femur Mum decided she would like to go for respite care. Potter House was the second care home that we viewed and as soon as we stepped inside we knew it would be the right place for mum. All the staff are very kind & helpful.

Mum has only been with you for a short while but I feel she has settled in really well. She had been quite isolated at home. Now she joins in a lot of the activities and making new friends. She says its like living in a five star hotel. The staff a wonderful and even with there busy schedule still find time to chat.

And above all it feels like home

It's been a bumpy ride with management changes and lack of a social coordinator. But these issues have recently been addressed and things have improved.

My mother has been very well looked after at Potter House since entering a few months ago. She feels safe and she is safe with no more falls since she arrived. The care home is clean and very modern with good facilities. The carers are friendly and chatty and my mother's social life has probably got even better with lots of visitors as well!

Potter House is a wonderful home .

From the day my Aunt was assessed by staff from Gillingham Grange I felt confident about the high standard of communication, care & kindness. She has been a resident there for the past month, she is very settled & the family are reassured that she is receiving the best & most appropriate care. The staff are also very supportive of family visiting, offering information, meals & snacks during visits. The building is spacious & light with easy access to the outside spaces. My Aunt's room has plenty of storage space & feels homely & individual. The most important thing is the kindness & efficiency of the staff members.

The care team were absolutely superb and extremely professional and compassionate both for my husband and myself. It is a beautiful place but the staff there make it special.

The staff matter most-and they have been exceptional. It is not just a few individuals; the whole team is clearly committed to providing the highest standard of care and companionship. They are always a pleasure to deal with and have shown great kindness to my mother during this difficult time and I cannot thank them enough.

There don't seem to many activities, however it was explained that this would ramp-up as more residents joined.

The staff are not only highly skilled but also incredibly compassionate-they treat residents with respect and kindness, taking the time to understand each individual's needs and preferences.
