Care Homes Owned by Crystal Care Collection in Kent

Visited Mum yesterday & today on a visit from London. Found Mum as always happy & well looked after. Staff as always pleasent & helpful. Found Mum's room tidy + clean. All in all a pleasent experience, I look forward to always coming in to visit

It is a difficult choice when looking for a care home for a loved one and we looked at a number starting with Lake View Lodge. In the end it was an easy choice. Three months later we could not have been happier and importantly mum feels the same. The care, facilities and activities are first class. They have worked hard to create a family environment which is great.

From the minute you go into the home, you are warmly welcomed by the reception staff . The care my parents receive is excellent , they are also very happy with the variety of activities and events offered to them as well as the hairdresser and chiropodist service. Any queries they have are addressed straight away .All of the staff in the home are friendly , respectful and when we visit everyone within the home seems happy.

On our recent visit to Lakeview , we found that the place has such a homely feel and a happy aura . The facilities spotless and really well equipped . The staff could not have been nicer and seem happy in their jobs . There are many activities going on that the residence are encouraged to get involved with . This is a lovely place to live.

We moved mum to this home in November after an assessment was carried out in October and mum was accepted. Mum had Alzheimer's and at no point were we told that if mum presents with challenging behaviour she will be asked to leave. If I had been told this I would never have moved here to LakeView because as we all know Alzheimer's is progressive and we don't know how it will progress and to keep moving someone with Alzheimer's merely exacerbates the disease. After 3 months of repeated phone calls about mums behaviour and the constant worry to find another home for mum and the home calling the behaviour 'challenging', I moved mum out. She is now in a home that will never throw her out as they understand Dementia/Alzheimers and said mum's behaviour is not challenging it is the disease and sadly how it progresses. Please don't think that this home will be your loved ones forever home because apparently they are a 'low level' Dementia home, something they don't make known unless you ask.

We've just been celebrating mum's 90th birthday at Lake View Lodge. The staff, cake and setting were amazing. My mum has only been there few months. The place is like a five star hotel but most of all my mum is happy there. Thank you to all that work there.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my 4 weeks in respite while my son has been away. I intend to keep in touch and hope to come again. The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble. I shall recommend Copperfield Court at every opportunity.

Visited my relative on Tuesday and couldn't believe how well she looked and how lovely the staff were. I am so pleased she is at copperfield court. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly Nikki was very kind and helpful and made me a lovely cup of coffee it really is a delightful home with a great atmosphere

I cannot praise highly enough the very high standard of every aspect of this establishment. Clearly, the staff are selected with enormous care and demonstrate outstanding courtesy and respect, combined with professionalism and great kindness. Nothing is too much trouble! My sister is in full possession of her mental faculties and appreciates the very high standards she sees throughout the day (and night). She says she is very happy and content here.

My dad was slowly dying in a hospital, Northampton. I spent every day I was off work travelling to see him and sitting by his bed side. He could barely talk, couldn't walk, had no memory whatsoever. Copperfield helped me rescue him, against all the wishes of the hospital and Northampton systems that were leaving him to slowly die.. Every step of the way , they stood behind me backing me up and fighting for him too, although they only had my word for the funny cheeky gentle true gentleman he is and I knew would be again given the chance. He arrived immobile, grumpy, confused, sad with not more than 30 seconds of memory. They have nurtured him 24/7. He is his old self once more and it is down to them entirely. The staff are so magnificent I simply do not have the words. Kind. Funny. Talented. Warm and truly work as a team. Have fun with each other and the residents. Nothing is too much trouble. AMAZING! I can't thank u all enough. You saved him. And me. Grateful beyond belief. Thank you

I left the care home knowing that my grandma was in safe hands and that she would be looked after which gave me a sense of relief and reassurance.

Should my dad need a permanent home or more respite, we shall return!

We are wanting to say a big thank you to all the staff at Copperfield Court. Although not there for very long they were nothing but friendly, helpful and caring for my Brother In Law. At the time of his passing the staff were extremely kind and caring to us and made a very difficult time so much easier to handle, for which we thank them. Overall we cannot give Copperfield Court a bigger recommendation than to say if a time comes when we need a carehome this will be the one we look at. Once again our gratitude and thanks go to all the staff at Copperfield Court.

Thanks to your dedication and warmth, what could have been a stressful transition, especially moving my mother-in-law from Northern Ireland, has instead felt so positive and comforting. We are incredibly grateful and feel reassured knowing she will be in such capable and compassionate hands! Thank you for everything you've done so far, we couldn't have asked for better support.

Communication between the home & relatives is excellent

The upbeat attitude shown by the staff clearly impacts the residents who appear to respond in a positive way.
