The team at Ponbay Lodge are truly outstanding, the level of care they provide is at such a high level! And a beautiful home setting for the residents! I attended the open day to celebrate the homes first birthday, a wonderful day filled with love and laughter! Well done all!

The last thing anyone wants is to see someone they love entering a care home, however Ponbay Lodge has certainly put my mind at rest. I witness the interaction between the residents and staff, the time, thought, care, patience and humour that is put in every day. The support given to residents and their families is exceptional as is the welcome and encouragement to not just "visit" but be a part of the wonderful community that Ponbay Lodge definitely is.

All the staff are amazing. My mum has become a different person since been here. It's like she has a new lease of life. She is going out on day trips joining in on activities, eating better and visiting family is always made welcome. Can't recommend Ponbay Lodge enough.

Everything about this care home is excellent with a friendly, welcoming, homely atmosphere. All the staff are caring, motivated, efficient and kind. Nothing is too much trouble and many activities for the residents to enjoy. All residents, whether permanent or temporary are all treated with respect and dignity. The chefs produce superb food with much variety & choice. One could not find the slightest fault with anything here the residents are encouraged to socialise and relax in such a happy atmosphere.

I think that footpath by the care parking is dnagerous as the path is uneven, re the stopes which take you by surprise. This needs some yellow markings to warn you.

I recently visited a friend at Maris View for the first time, and not knowing what to expect, I was truly impressed. Maris View sets a remarkable standard for compassionate, person-centred care. During my visit, I saw just how attentive the team were to all the residents, taking the time to chat with them and make sure their needs were met. The environment and facilities are exceptional, with a calm, homely feel throughout.

The cleanliness of the home is excellent and the food is amazing, home cooked and fresh. I would thoroughly recommend Maris View. Thank you everyone for the care given to my mother.

The food is good and fresh. The family are also offered tea, coffee and cakes, which are amazing. There is always something going on for the residents either at Ponbay or going for days out. We felt Dad (99) was safe and well cared for there and the ladies loved him!!. He sadly passed away in hospital after a short illness and we have missed all the staff as they also made us feel so welcome.

We will always keep Ponbay Lodge in mind .

The care and support my dad has had during respite has been superb. Thank you everyone, very much appreciated. The environment, food and general atmosphere is calm and welcoming. Should dad require respite again, we will definitely use Collington Park.

We had to have my dad in respite following a fall and time in hospital. From visiting the site to getting him settled in was a very easy & quick process to which we were very grateful to the admin/mgmt team. The whole team were incredibly caring & efficient, doing their best to help our dad with this transition. The actual home and facilities are superb. I would have no problem using the home again if needed or recommending it to others. Thank you!

I came to visit mum for the first time since she arrived with my sister, and she looked so well, happy and full of life. This was great to see, as at the previous care home she seemed to be lonely in her room every time I went; it was great to see her part of the community in the lounge. All the staff were welcoming and warm, and they introduced themselves to me. I was offered refreshments and made very welcome. The home itself is outstanding.

Our Aunt lives in a clean, modern light filled home and is respected by the staff who look after her.

Perhaps more varied activities would be appreciated.

My wife has been a resident for 6 weeks now, and I can only describe her care as excellent on every front. The care staff are amazing and patient and most of all very caring! They are also mindful of how close relatives need their support as well. Thank you so much for their care!
