I recently visited a friend at Maris View for the first time, and not knowing what to expect, I was truly impressed. Maris View sets a remarkable standard for compassionate, person-centred care. During my visit, I saw just how attentive the team were to all the residents, taking the time to chat with them and make sure their needs were met. The environment and facilities are exceptional, with a calm, homely feel throughout.

The cleanliness of the home is excellent and the food is amazing, home cooked and fresh. I would thoroughly recommend Maris View. Thank you everyone for the care given to my mother.

The food is good and fresh. The family are also offered tea, coffee and cakes, which are amazing. There is always something going on for the residents either at Ponbay or going for days out. We felt Dad (99) was safe and well cared for there and the ladies loved him!!. He sadly passed away in hospital after a short illness and we have missed all the staff as they also made us feel so welcome.

We will always keep Ponbay Lodge in mind .

The care and support my dad has had during respite has been superb. Thank you everyone, very much appreciated. The environment, food and general atmosphere is calm and welcoming. Should dad require respite again, we will definitely use Collington Park.

We had to have my dad in respite following a fall and time in hospital. From visiting the site to getting him settled in was a very easy & quick process to which we were very grateful to the admin/mgmt team. The whole team were incredibly caring & efficient, doing their best to help our dad with this transition. The actual home and facilities are superb. I would have no problem using the home again if needed or recommending it to others. Thank you!

I came to visit mum for the first time since she arrived with my sister, and she looked so well, happy and full of life. This was great to see, as at the previous care home she seemed to be lonely in her room every time I went; it was great to see her part of the community in the lounge. All the staff were welcoming and warm, and they introduced themselves to me. I was offered refreshments and made very welcome. The home itself is outstanding.

Our Aunt lives in a clean, modern light filled home and is respected by the staff who look after her.

Perhaps more varied activities would be appreciated.

My wife has been a resident for 6 weeks now, and I can only describe her care as excellent on every front. The care staff are amazing and patient and most of all very caring! They are also mindful of how close relatives need their support as well. Thank you so much for their care!

My mum has been in the care home nearly three weeks and the staff cannot do enough for her, they are all amazing. She went in for respite care but we now realise she needs full time care. No job is too much for them. Any problems and they deal with it straight away. They are wonderful with all of us, family as well, looking after us too. There is a lovely atmosphere in the home.

Always attentive and polite and considerate - with sometimes a very difficult resident who however states his complete satisfaction with all your efforts. Your staff are demonstating a lot of patience

The welcome and care my husband receives in Maris View is excellent. All the Staff I have met are remarkably kind and very patient with their residents and visiting family members who so often need support too.

My husband's bedroom is perfect for his needs and all the communal areas are just lovely and so well designed. He is relaxed and I feel that he could not be better cared for anywhere else.

My mother in law broke her leg and has on coming dementia and is 94 we could not leave her alone in the house, so we looked for a respite home. We found Collington Park Lodge location was perfect for us living in Eastbourne and my Brother living in Hastings so we booked her in for a month, it was beautiful and clean the staff go beyond themselves to be helpful and kind, after three weeks it was clear that she needed this care all time so decided to make it full time, she has a lovely room with on suite and a garden view and she loves it.

The home is beautiful. Always clean and fresh. Mum's room is spacious and bright. I like the ensuite wet room enabling mum to be showered without going to another bathroom. I've found all my conversations with the staff to be friendly and helpful. Staff are caring and compassionate towards my mum. I would not hesitate to recommend Ponbay Lodge.

Mums dementia needs are met with care and kindness in every way so we as a family can relax in the knowledge she is absolutely safe and well looked after
