Overall Experience

Couldn't ask for a better place for my uncle he's been in this amazing home since June 2024 and he would never leave this home all the staff are amazing any questions you have they can answer and very approachable kind and friendly and are amazing with my uncle couldn't ask for any better they all do

I visit my uncle when I can due to work and uni but my mum
Visits every day to let me know how he is when I was in the staff were very kind a friendly and my uncle is happy with the staff and says he loves a singer great home for my uncle

Overall Experience

This is my wife's relative that I visit regularly. This person has been a resident in Carnbroe Care Centre for just over a year now. The staff here have been excellent from day one. They are always interacting with myself and my relative. The staff are also very quick to act on any health issues that

my relative has had and are always willing to help. The care centre also has regular entertainment and a weekly planner to keep the residents occupied. As a result of this my relative is settled and has told me that he is happy there and doesn't want to leave.

Overall Experience

Visit the home regularly my family member is happy and content and that is my main concern. The staff are friendly and approachable and if there are any issues I am comfortable to speak about it. The home have plenty of activities on during the year were family can join in.

I chose Carnbroe to look after mum, as I knew from the care my mother-in-law recieved there was excellent, the staff ( no matter their position) were always happy to answer any questions or take care of any matter brought to their attention, from activities inside to days out visiting local places or

just a stroll to the local shops the residents have lots to do, the rooms are always being cleaned and the building inside and out never look shabby. I can't praise all the staff highly enough. A great big thank you to everyone of the staff

Overall Experience

My gran has been in this care home for about 10 months now, I cannot fault the staff for anything. The place is always clean and up to standard. The staff in the Rannoch Unit always make things easier for the family visiting and make you welcome each time you arrive. If anything happens, they always

phone to keep you updated with everything. We as a family couldn't have picked a better facility for my gran to stay long term. Would just like to thank all the staff. You're doing a great. While my experience has been pleasant, I have noticed that the staff here in this unit are completely understaffed and overworked.

Staffing in care homes has always been a difficult matter and our staffing levels are based on the dependency level of each service user. In addition, we have hired an extra person for during the day who will go where the need is and we also have the support from our 3 activity organisers as well as nursing and occupational therapy students. They are not counted in our staffing levels but are there to provide enrichment.

Overall Experience

My gran was admitted into the Rannoch Unit within Carnbroe Care Home around 10 months now. I visit near enough every day and can honestly say the staff here provide excellent care not only for my gran but also the family. The staff show daily that they do actually care for their residents and don't

treat them as simply just their job. We are always made to feel welcome and the place is always spotless and tidy. I was initially concerned about my gran going into a care home but the actions of the staff here have more than reassured me, not only of the first-class care she gets but also that she's safe. My only complaint would be to ask for extra staff to help out the already exhausted staff working within the Rannoch unit. They are on their knees asking for extra hands which seems to keep falling on deaf ears. I would like to thank each and every member of staff for their support throughout this whole experience.

With regards to staffing, we do listen to our staff and we calculate staff required based on the service users dependencies which are published monthly. We are consistently above the average care hours for that unit. In addition we have also hired an extra staff member per day who can float where required. This is also supported by our 3 activity coordinators, we also have nursing students, occupational therapy students who are not counted in our numbers but help enrich the lives of the service users.

Overall Experience

Our mum was in the Lomond Unit as a respite resident for several weeks. The individual staff members caring for her, particularly the unit manager, were exceptional in their care and communication. The environment was very clean and the bedroom was in very good condition. Public areas were constantly

cleaned and I felt confident infection control was as robust as it can be in these circumstances. We felt well supported as a family and reassured Mum was being looked after exactly the way we'd hoped for. We would have been happy for her to stay there, probably in another unit more suited to her stage of dementia, however, we were able to secure a companion room for her with our dad in another local home. Activities appeared plentiful and varied and the other residents seemed happy and content. Management was visible and approachable. Thank you to all involved.

Carnbroe Care Home is excellent the staff are caring and kind and I know my husband is well taken care of. The ethos is friendly and welcoming. He has developed a great bond with the staff and this is a comfort to the family, knowing he has people around him all the time and he is happy in this new

My gran has been in this care home for fifteen months now, I cannot fault the staff for anything. They have been great since the day she arrived and she settled in amazingly due to the gratefulness and kindness of the staff in the unit. The place is always clean and up to standard. The staff in the

Lomond Unit always make things easier for the family visiting and make you welcome each time you arrive. If anything happens, e.g. a doctor needs to be called in or they are not well, injured or anything, they involve the family. They always phone to keep you updated with everything. We as a family couldn’t have picked a better facility for my gran to stay long term. Would just like to thank all the staff. You’re doing a great job.

Overall Experience

Mum was admitted in August last year. Myself and my sister struggled with this decision but our hands were tied. At first, it was a daunting experience visiting and meeting other residents and understanding every single resident's own needs! I can honestly say that every single member of staff, from

the cleaners, cooks, carers to management, helped with her transition and our journey in looking after my mum while in their care. Mum passed away this year on 5th June and the way we were looked after while staying/sleeping by her side was phenomenal. My only complaint would be to ask for extra staff to help out the already exhausted staff working within the Katrine unit. They are on their knees asking for extra hands which seems to keep falling on deaf ears. I would like to thank each and every member of staff for their support throughout this whole experience. Miss you all.

I am happy with the care that my husband receives. His needs are met and staff are considerate when dealing with him. He is well fed and his personal care is good. I find the staff welcoming and if there is a problem they will look into it. I am kept up to date with what is happening.

My dad got taken into Carnbroe Care Centre in March 2022.
I cannot thank everyone enough at the home for what they do. He is so well cared for.
The staff are fantastic.
So much is done to keep the residents busy and occupied. They do so much for them.
Can't recommend enough.

Overall Experience

July 2021 both my mum and dad moved into Carnbroe Care Centre. Both had a second lease of life. The care was above and beyond. Both loved it there, especially my mum. A second family to them both. Sadly, we lost them in September and October 2022. Can’t thank the staff enough for being there for them

and us right up until the end.

Overall Experience

The care my mother had in her time here was absolutely outstanding! The staff are truly amazing in the way they treat every single resident, making it a lovely, happy place for them to be! The home itself is spotlessly clean and tidy, making it a comfortable environment for all. The activities team

do their utmost to ensure there are lots of things to do, keeping them all entertained! Sadly, my mum passed away in the home on 5th June and we, as a family, will never forget the care they gave to her in her last days! The compassion and care they also gave to us, the family, during that time was exceptional! I highly recommend this home and will always be grateful to them all!

The staff at Carnbroe Care Centre are remarkable. They work tirelessly and despite being constantly on the go, treat each resident with care and compassion. As a family, we were content that my gran was safe and being treated with the dignity and respect that she deserved.
The staff ensure that the
