If superheroes wore slippers instead of capes, they'd probably work at Grenville Court Care Home. The staff somehow manage to keep everyone smiling, laughing, fed, watered, comforted, entertained, and occasionally out of mischief - which deserves an award in itself.
The care and kindness shown every single day is genuinely amazing. Nothing ever seems too much trouble, even when residents are asking the same question for the fifteenth time before lunch or trying to negotiate extra biscuits like seasoned lawyers. The staff handle it all with patience, humour, and enough tea to power a small village.
A special mention has to go to the team spirit. They work together like a well-trained Formula 1 pit crew - except instead of changing tyres, they're delivering cups of tea, finding missing glasses, calming worries, and somehow remembering everyone's favourite pudding.
Grenville Court doesn't just feel like a care home; it feels like a big family where people are treated with dignity first
