My mum has been a resident of Thorley House for over 6 years and is now 96. I know she feels happy and comfortable at Thorley and this is a tribute to all the staff who are involved and who care for her. Everyone is so kind, caring and gives support with a smiling face. It's so reassuring to know that
all mum's ongoing needs are being met with thought and compassion. I know there must be many other things going on in the background to ensure the home is well-run, well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Thank you, everyone.

My dad became a resident at Thorley in May 2025 until Oct 2025. He had Alzheimer's.
The staff could not have been kinder to my dad or indeed to us. They showed great care and really tried to individualise that care for my dad. They got to know his likes and dislikes and tailored activities accordingly.
They
were also quick to know when medical advice was needed.
We will always be grateful to the team at Thorley, led by Mel and Toni, who really helped our family at a very difficult time and treated our dad with great respect, love and professionalism

His mobility and mood improved markedly during his stay. His ability to undertake activities improved.

Golborne House is warm & welcoming. Always clean & homely with a nice atmosphere. The staff are pleasant, efficient , friendly, caring & helpful. The meals are varied & of a good standard. The food is well praised. Events are thoughtfully organised and create fun & happiness for the residents. I
would not hesitate to recommend Golborne House. I thank them all for the care they have provided for my mum.

My mother has been in Lyndhurst almost 3 years, within that time she has been content and happy within the care home setting. Staff are attentive and have mums best interests at heart. Since Lauren and Beccy have arrived the activities have been excellent. In general mum is happy with the care home,
and it's setting, the only suggestion would be that the menu could be more varied. Otherwise thank you!

My nan has been in Thorley house coming up to 3 years! She has dementia so some days are worse than others but all staff treat her with respect and nothing is ever too much! The support she and us as a family have had with her is incredible and makes us think more we chose the perfect home for her!

staff are always on hand to help even if its to make her smile or prompt her to engage!
Cant reccomond enough..
Any queries management always have ther doors open! We have happy Nan thanks to thorley & there staff :)

When mum came she was very unsettled, packed her bags everyday. It was too much trouble for the staff to put it away. This went on for a while, but mum absolutely loves it now. Mum would say the staff our brilliant and they look after, well nothing is too much trouble.

The staff are amazing . Mum has needed nursing care on a few occasions and prompt treatment has always been provided.
The activities are brilliant. We've recently attended the bingo. Mum loves it and gets all serious haha

My husband has settled in very well at Garswood House. His room is large, clean and overlooking the garden. The staff are wonderful with him, each and everyone of them. It's taking a little time for them to get to know his level of need, because he can be deceptive, but I'm certain that this is the
perfect place for him. It's party day today, celebration of David Attenboroughs 100 years with balloons, games and live music. Wonderful.
