My mother has been at Duncote Hall since last April, and I cannot speak highly enough of the care she has received from the dedicated staff. We are always promptly informed of any issues regarding her care. The staff are kind and respectful, and they treat my mother with dignity. She is the happiest
she has been in a long time, and it gives us great peace of mind to know she is in safe hands.

The staff at Duncote hall are caring, kind, empathetic and professional. My mother only moved in late last year and to date the care she has received has been second to none. I had been caring for mum for 7 years in our family home and it was really hard to let others take over, however duncote hall
staff have made this so much easier to bear.
Nothing is too much trouble they even got mum her favourite cereal in for her and remember that she really loves cheese and tomato sandwiches. All staff have shown the family such kindness too, we are welcomed by a smile and everyone always has time to chat not just about mums care but in getting to know us as relatives and people
Thank you doesnt seem enough

My Mother has been a resident since March 2025 and I have found all the staff at Duncote Hall to be both helpful and caring. They always make an effort to interact with the residents and visitors and are available to discuss any concerns and always make contact if necessary.
As soon as you go through
the front door there is a welcome and a warmth within the home. I feel very happy that my mum is with Duncote, as I live 3 hours away, and I know she is being looked after and well cared for which puts my mind at ease. Thank you to all the staff for their hardwork and care.

I can't thank you all enough for everything you do for mum. The staff are so caring, friendly and funny. I am kept up to date with any changes in mum's health, well being or medication etc.

Deciding to put mum into care at her young age was one of the hardest decisions of my life, but I know she is

in such safe hands at The Lakes.

Looking forward to Spring/Summer when we can spend more time in the beautiful garden again.

My husband has been a resident at The Lakes for 18 months. He had been refused a place in 4 care homes so it was a great relief when he was given a permanent place. His behaviour was challenging but they persevered with great patience and he eventually settled happily.I visit 3 or 4 times a week and
am always impressed by the patience and kindness of the carers. There are a wide variety of stimulating activities including regular visits from singers and musicians. In the summer it is lovely to sit together in the garden.
The senior staff are very approachable and any concerns are addressed.
I am so grateful to everyone for their patience, kindness and care.

My father has been at this care home for two years. I have been impressed by several aspects -
1. Very caring staff. Welcoming to visitors and great with residents.
2. Cleanliness
3. A safe environment
4. For me, as a relative, the excellent administration from admission through recent challenges
regarding my father's circumstances, the management and administration has been first rate - caring, professional and efficient.

My husband moved to Cheaney Court from a care home in Wellingborough and he couldn't have gone to a better place. He calls it his home and although he tends to have a troubled mind he's very attached to 'Cheaney' and often wants to be reassured that he is in 'Cheaney'. The staff are all vigilant over
the residents and are constantly watching that they are safe. They often sit next to a resident for a quick chat if they have a moment to spare and it's a delight to see an old face light up because they've been given attention. They are approachable, as is the manager and deputy manager and will always give time to listen to any queries from visitors. He is dressed in clean clothes daily. The food is nutritious and fresh and each plate is individually named to ensure each person has their own appropriate meal and plate size. I have no worries. My husband, after being in four care homes due to unfortunate circumstances, is now in the best. An excellent care home .

Everytime I visit mum at Cheaney Court I'm received with warmth and care. I know that mum's every need is met with are and compassion, which is invaluable. which I am very grateful. Thank you very much.

My husband has been a resident at The Lakes since May and we find all staff very, very caring towards him and right from the start helped him to settle in as easily as possible not an easy task due to his blindness..
The Management and Admin staff need a lot of praise for the smooth running of 'the
ship' with Carers, Housekeeping, Food & Drink plus Social Host all playing their part in making a very professionally run environment for the residents. Thank You

My dad had been at Cheaney Court since September last year. Unfortunately my dad passed away on the 15.06.25. From when my dad went into Cheaney Court until he passed away the care that was provided was outstanding, even after he had passed away he was still treated with the upmost respect. The manager
is very approachable, listens to families & shows empathy. The nurses are fantastic at their jobs, they don't just care they really care! Listening to my dad's wishes as well as the family. The staff are amazing, always friendly & welcoming. It felt I wasn't just visiting my dad but going to his home & seeing friends. I know my dad felt happy & safe there, he never complained, said that staff do a fantastic job & that one staff member in particular goes above & beyond, would listen to what dad liked & wanted, organised was his words.
All the staff need recognition for what they do every day, in my eyes they are all angels!
I'm glad dad got to spend his last few months at Cheaney Court.

Dad has settled in really well, a true home from home. All the staff are wonderful, nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is great. Dad enjoys the organised activities and socialising with others, and he loves the singing afternoons. His medical needs are well managed. I am always kept informed
about how Dad is doing, which gives me peace of mind. Thank you for everything!
