I can't believe how lucky we were in getting Mum into Cheaney Court after Dad passed. From the first phone calls, to moving her in and how difficult Mum was to start with there was understanding and patience from all staff. In three months my Mum has been sorted out with medicines, her care plan, what she likes and doesn't like. Dementia isn't great but my mum is more settled and happy which is down to all of the wonderful staff. Happy faces greet us every time we visit, a few jokes here and there, I feel we are getting to know all the staff and a lot of the residents too. They really do show they care, nothing is too much, happy and hard working. Special thanks to Cathryn and Mim for all you do.

My husband has lived at Cheaney Court for nearly a year now. I visit my husband daily and every member of staff I happen to see on each day welcomes me warmly and with a smile. The whole staff are very caring towards all the residence including the ones that are sometimes very challenging. I am able to go into my husband's bedroom at anytime if I need to without seeking permission. The food is nutritious and each person is given their own personal portion and food which follows their own diet which means my husband is often given very general meals! My husband is very content living in Cheaney Court and I don't worry about him as I know he is in the best of care homes.

Very lovely staff and make you safe when you leave loved ones there always so caring and understanding it's very organised I always have a settled heart leaving my mother every time I leave my mother enjoys being there and looks at everyone like family

Our daughter was cared for with the most care and respect any one could ask for, her final months were difficult for her, us and staff but it was made so much easier to bear with the understanding of the staff, 'so nice to have a lovely wash and cream after' her words to me. We can not thank enough for her care.

My mother has now lived at Cheaney Court for 2 1/2 years. her care has always been excellent even though her needs have become more challenging. The staff are very caring and hard-working and always welcoming to myself and other family members when we visit. I am very happy that we chose Cheaney Court to look after mum.

Just wanted to say that when I visited my friend, I noticed the carers went above and beyond in the care they provided to all. On the day I visited, miniature donkeys were on display for residents, excellent visit for residents. Front of house staff amazing.

I sit with my wife every day, so I see how Cheaney Court works. This si with my wifes car and also other residents, some of whom are very difficult. All get good care, there is a very good working relationship between carers & nursing staff. All staff are so good with the residents. I feel very lucky that my wife is in Cheaney Court Care Home.

My mother spent over 7 years at The Lakes before she died in February 2026. I cannot speak highly enough of the care she received throughout her stay. The team of carers were very caring and supportive as were all of the staff who worked there. Thank you.

My mother has been at Duncote Hall since last April, and I cannot speak highly enough of the care she has received from the dedicated staff. We are always promptly informed of any issues regarding her care. The staff are kind and respectful, and they treat my mother with dignity. She is the happiest she has been in a long time, and it gives us great peace of mind to know she is in safe hands.

As soon as you go through the front door there is a welcome and a warmth within the home. I feel very happy that my mum is with Duncote, as I live 3 hours away, and I know she is being looked after and well cared for which puts my mind at ease. Thank you to all the staff for their hardwork and care.

4. For me, as a relative, the excellent administration from admission through recent challenges regarding my father's circumstances, the management and administration has been first rate - caring, professional and efficient.

Care and love shown to my wife first class. The home facilities are very good including my wife bedroom also on my visits the staff treatment to myself is outstanding and really make it a pleasure to visit my wife.

Good visit. Very helpful staff. Mum seemed as happy as she could be. Mum likes the staff.

Everytime I visit mum at Cheaney Court I'm received with warmth and care. I know that mum's every need is met with are and compassion, which is invaluable. The August BBQ was a huge success bringing staff, residents and family together for a lovely event. Thank you. Mum is settled, safe and happy, for which I am very grateful. Thank you very much.

The overall experience of Cheaney Court Care Home and their staff has been of a high standard and without a doubt they have put their patients interests first and foremost. Thank you everyone for your help & dedication to your profession.

The whole staff were helpful, compassionate, skilled etc and looked after my brother in his last days in the best way possible with a great deal of thought towarda his relatives as well.
