Care Homes Owned by Minster Care Group in Nottinghamshire

My mother in law moved into Falcon house quite recently. She has been really well looked after. The care home has a homely rather than clinical feel and the staff are extremely caring. They are wonderful with my mother in law and do all they can to meet her needs and ensure her individual preferences are adhered to. The new manager and deputy manager have done an amazing job ensuring optimum and individualised care. We can't them enough for everything they have done and are doing for her.

Although Broadgate Care Home does not have little luxuries such as velvet curtains it has a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are kind, caring and very caring. One of the things that has impressed me is not only are they nice to the residents, however difficult their behaviour, but they are also nice to eachother. There is no sense of hierarchy or snobbery. Catering staff, medical, housekeeping etc. all talk to eachother and seem to know the residents. They have all communicated well with me. I feel my mother is safe here.

The Activity Co-Ordinator does a fabulous job but could do with assistance to help her and it's a rarity to see a visible presence of management.

Overall it's a good care home.

My friend is settled in Falcon House. He says he feels safe and that the staff are kind to him. I know that they are genuinely fond of him. He enjoys the food. I visit regularly on different days and at different times, and the staff are always welcoming. My friend's room is always spotless; the housekeeping staff seem to take real pride in their work. The activity co-ordinator brings a lot of fun and laughter into the home. I am happy with the care that my friend receives.

Meals are nutritious and tasty and regular drinks and snacks are provided.

I want to say it was really nice booking in like a holiday hotel, the management and staff are really nice, caring knew her needs very well, accommodating knew exactly what she needed in terms of room allocation, activities were very stimulating, the activities were like at a holiday resort always something to do to stimulate her brain. We wish we would have come to this nursing home sooner. Its lovely.

Having spent time here at all hours of the day/night, I found all staff to be caring, compassionate and respectful to all the patients I saw/heard them interact with.

On behalf of my parish society of St Vincent de Paul (S.V.P) I have for several years visited a gentleman at Broadgate Nursing Home. He died last month. Throughout my time of visiting all the staff, from the receptionist, the managers, the nurses, the care assistants and the laundry staff demonstrated to the gentleman in question deep care, concern and attention. He was after unable to speak or communicate but still have him time and clearly knew him as an individual. He was given his dignity as a human being at a time when he was in need of others for his most basic needs. His Christian beliefs were shown great respect. I was always made to feel very welcome. The home and the staff were family to him and I was made to feel part of this. Thank you and god bless.

As a visitor seeing my husband, I am always made welcome from all members of staff. The care and dignity of all residents are appreciated, they do their very best to accommodate the needs of the residents. I've been visiting the home for over two years, I do get involved with fundraising, of which I enjoy, it's just like having extra family members.

My wife came to Broadgate Nursing Home in August 2024. Her care has been excellent and she is well looked after by a dedicated and caring staff. I know that she is in good hands.

My mum has been in Broadgate Nursing Home for two years and is incredibly well looked after. The staff are all brilliant with the residents and their relatives. The home provides five-star service in every respect.

Pleased with the home which is clean, bright and warm. My mum is being looked after well and seems content.

My father receives extremely good care from all the carers and the staff in Falcon House. They show care and understanding for all his needs. All the staff are friendly and helpful to me.The home is well cleaned and looked after.

I was always offered a cup of tea whilst visiting. They have entertainment on some afternoons. My mum said she enjoyed her stay there and always seemed happy enough. I wouldn't hesitate to use the home again for her.

Staff and management have the best interest of the residents' needs. Always kept informed of any medical problems which arise and get him any treatment that's required as a matter of urgency. I am pleased he was able to get a place here, gives me peace of mind.

From the very outset the manager and her team of staff gave valued advice and guidance, proactively liaising with and supporting our father's transfer from hospital for a period of palliative care. From the moment our dad arrived at Broadgate, he was welcomed and treated with dignity and kindness throughout his stay. The staff were always cheerful, caring and encouraging, not only the nurses and carers, but also all the additional roles needed to make all the residents' stay comfortable and homely. Although only at Broadgate for a few weeks, we were able to set up Dad's room so it felt like his with his personal belongings and television, and there were no structured visiting hours - we loved that we could come and go throughout the day and evening. We were never made to feel that we were in the way, and we too felt part of the Broadgate family for the duration of his stay. We will always be grateful for the kindness, compassion and care shown to my dad when he needed it most.
