Care Homes Owned by Minster Care Group in Cambridgeshire

This is the first time a family member has had to be moved to a care home so i was not sure what to expect but i have been very pleased with all of the staff who has cared for my stepfather since he arrived in december. He was not at all happy to be there for the first couple of month's and was reluctant to socialise and join in the activities but i have seen a change and he now even enjoy's bingo which is something he never would have done. He love's day's out and lunch at the pub, even listening to some of the performer's who sing. He has parkinson's and dementia which is a struggle, he has had some fall's when he first arrived and i have alway's had a call to notify me of what has happened but being at the home he is cared for and i know he is safe. Every member of staff i have spoken to has alway's been polite, greet's us with a lovely smile and a hello including the staff who decorate and manage tv's and electric's. I would definitely recommend it.

I could not be happier with my decision to place my mother here. Knowing she feels safe, cared for, and truly at home means everything to me. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming environment for their loved one.

The staff in general are very good and most have a good sense of humour. Accounts are very good at their job and keep me in touch with any money issues. All in I'm pleased with how they are looking after my mother who could moan for England. Keep it going boys and girls, you doing a good job.

Amazing place, excellent care of both residents and their family, always clean , the staff are friendly and know all the little details about their residents that make it a home from home. The activities that happen regularly are varied and always look fun. I couldn't recommend it more . There is always support from the management team when you need it too.

My Dad's been living at the Grange for over 2 years now. He has mild dementia, and I'm sure if I were to tell him how long he's been a resident he'd struggle to believe me. That's partly because after an initial settling in period, he's been completely contented there. He likes the staff, and they seem to like him too - they certainly always treat him with respect and kindness. We visit often, and that helps to maintain a good rapport with the team and keeps us up to date with how he's doing. We're always welcome, and invariably impressed by the standard of care and the variety of activities provided to engage residents and keep them as active as possible. I really hope Dad will be able to see his days out in the comfort and security of this well-managed home.

My mum is only just settling in from living at home on her own. She is still adjusting but the staff do their upmost to include her, where appropriate. Also they have been really helpful with admin queries from myself. Mum is getting used to the different carers that she meets each day and has already got a few favourites. I know mum is safe and well cared for and that is the most important thing for me.

I have always been able to come and go as I please which gives me great confidence in the care she receives. Communication is great and many times I have dropped in and had chats with (and tissues from) the manager. I feel the whole team have not only been looking after my mother, but have held my hand through every stage of the dementia she suffers from. I cannot thank them enough.

Thank you to all the staff for the care they give to my mother-in-law. Our family have no hesitation in recommending The Grange Care Home facility.

On a personal note as a visitor to the Grange, I am always made to feel welcome like it's my home too. Staff are always happy and the very best I could ask for and a lot better at caring for my Dad than I could ever be. I would recommend this residential home to anyone who is looking for a home for their loved one.

The Grange is a very pleasant building set in lovely gardens with excellent facilities. A great standard of food, a high quality of care, dignity of residents and staffing care are all exceptionally good. Both staff and management are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure the comfort and care of the residents if our experience is anything to go by.

Excellent. Staff are very friendly and approachable. They treat residents with care and compassion. The in-house entertainment and activities are well-balanced and varied and are thoroughly enjoyed by the residents.

Would recommend The Grange to anyone. My dad describes it as a hotel and we can see what he means.

Littleport Grange is an excellent care provider with lovely approachable, happy and caring staff. Senior staff and managers are contactable and quickly implement any changes needed in Dad's care. We were really anxious about Dad going into a care home, you always think no one will ever care for someone so precious in your life, as well as their family, do. Littleport Grange has definitely proved us wrong. A big thank you to everyone.

Since dealing with Littleport Grange from September 2023, we have found from stepping through their doors everyone went the extra mile to help us. The building is older than some in the area but very well maintained, the gardens are beautiful but it's the care received by our uncle that we have always found to be outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble, any questions we have are answered immediately with the greatest respect to all concerned. The activities they all provide to residents are targeted to residents' interests. Moving anyone into this kind is situation is never easy but all management and staff made this so much easier than we could have ever hoped for.

My mother will have been at The Grange for almost 2 years now and throughout that time I have always found the staff and management to be very helpful and friendly. My mother definitely feels special and cared for.

We are delighted with the care my husband's aunt receives. The reasons for moving came to a head very quickly. She was very anxious and missed her home. Littleport Grange was excellent at supporting her and reducing her anxiety. It is obvious that they have her best interests at heart. She has been on many trips and she is much happier than we have seen her for years. We feel very reassured with her at Littleport Grange.

Littleport Grange Residential Home is a beautiful building set in established mature gardens with an excellent standard of care, quality of food, dignity of residents and staffing care are all excellent. Both staff and management are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure an excellent quality care package. Well done everyone, 5 stars.

We would like to say that even though our mother (89) had a very short stay (seven weeks) at the home, the service, activities, food quality and attention of all staff was excellent. Ten out of ten, we would recommend the home to anyone!
