It was our Aunties 90th birthday this week and we felt the staff gave her the birthday celebration she wanted.
We joined her today (live 3 hours away) for more cake and tea. The staff on duty today made us very welcome. Hayley, activities co-ordinator was wonderful with all the residents, we joined
in her gentle stretch class. She is fabulous!
The home is beautifully decorated but feel the bedroom could do with a refurbishment

I visited my Aunt this weekend and met Hayley, the young lady who provides the activities for the residents. She came and introduced herself and was so helpful and kind to my Aunt. She told us
all about the 90th Birthday celebration that they had recently organized for my Aunt. She was pleased
to meet us as she knew we had been following the Care Home on social media. She also led an activity with the residents and she was so engaging with all those that took part. Encouraging them to do what they could, but without putting any pressure on them. You can tell everyone loves her. We live quite far away, and can't get to visit our Aunt very often, but we left today, knowing what a lovely friend Hayley is to all the residents and how she keeps an eye on them all. She is smashing and a credit to the Care Home.
Reply from Jenny Bellwood, Marketing Director at Cloverleaf Nursing HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and positive review.
We're delighted to hear that your visit left you feeling reassured and confident about the care and support your Aunt receives at Cloverleaf. It's wonderful to know that our activities programme and recent birthday celebration made such a lasting impression, and that you felt welcomed and informed during your visit.
Our team takes great pride in being kind, approachable, and engaging, ensuring residents are encouraged to take part at their own pace and in a way that feels comfortable for them. It means a great deal to hear that this approach is noticed and appreciated.
Thank you again for your kind words and for following life at Cloverleaf. We truly appreciate your support and feedback.

We love going to visit our Auntie in Cloverleaf Care Home. There is so many activities for the residents to join in and enjoy every day. It keeps them stimulated and active and stops the boredom. My sister was in residence at the above home from September 2024 to September 2025. My sister's care varied from carer to carer, and had hoped for more activities, individual possibly. A light bright home with comfortable room, I felt my sister was treated with dignity as much as possible and help on
hand re encouragement of mealtimes and for taking medication were grateful for the care she received in her difficult condition.

Overall Experience 4.0 out of 5
My FIL has been welcomed by every member of the Tanglewood team, from Top to bottom.

There has been a settling in period for him & us as a family, with some teething problems,
That is to be expected,
However the Team have strived to resolve & overcome these issues with a positive mindset.

The food is lovely, there is an abundance of snacks & refreshments available throughout the day,

The kitchen staff are fantastic and have accommodated My FIL's Level 4 dietary needs, I am confident this will continue.

The facilities could be improved;
I.e incontinance sheets and disposable sputum bowls should be made more readily available and accessible, as well as disposable gloves & more hand sanitizer's, especially at high traffic areas such as internal doors areas.

Our overall experience at Tanglewood Horncastle has been warm, welcoming, Honest, & positive,

Reply from Jenny Bellwood, Marketing Director at Tanglewood Nursing HomeThank you for your review of Tanglewood Care Home. We are delighted to hear that your father-in-law has been warmly welcomed by the whole team and that both he and your family have felt supported during his settling-in period.

Thank you also for your feedback regarding our facilities and the accessibility of supplies. We continuously review the availability and accessibility of key supplies to ensure we uphold the highest standards of comfort, dignity, and infection control.

My mum has used a large number of care homes in the Lincoln area for respite care. Out of all the care homes, I felt that Tanglewood was the best, by far. The staff were caring, enthusiastic and provided a significant number of activities, that were well attended by the residents. I participated alongside
my mum, with chair exercises which were very similar to chair yoga. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the large number of cosy social spaces, for use by residents. Thank you Tanglewood, for looking after my mum so well.

When I was looking for a care home for Mum I was in a panic, after a stay in hospital over Christmas/NewYear I was being pressured into finding somewhere with no help. I was lucky that I found Tanglewood. From the moment of my first meeting with the admissions team I knew that it was the right place.
They were walm and welcoming, explaining everything that I needed to know in detail.
Once Mum moved in there were a few teething troubles, they were getting to know both Mum and me. I was adapting to not being hands on, as I had been previously, and letting them get on with their job of looking after Mum.
In any organisation you would expect to meet people that you didn't quite get along with. I can honestly say this was not the case with Tanglewood Horncastle. Everyone I met was friendly, caring and always had time for you. This was care staff, housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance.. everyone.
I can't thank the staff enough, for the care they gave Mum and the support they gave me,
Reply from Jenny Bellwood, Marketing Director at Tanglewood Nursing HomeThank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed and heartfelt review.
We understand how stressful and overwhelming it can be to search for a care home, particularly following a hospital stay and during the Christmas and New Year period. We are pleased to hear that from your first meeting with the admissions team you felt welcomed, supported, and well informed, and that this gave you confidence in choosing Tanglewood Horncastle.
Your kind words about the entire team - across care, housekeeping, kitchen, and maintenance - mean a great deal to us. We will be sure to share your feedback with everyone, who will be truly encouraged to know their care and support made such a difference to both you and your mum.

I cannot thank the staff enough for the wonderful patience and care given to ny mother who has moved here from another care home. We were conscious that if would really affect her as she has early dementia and is 94 but they have helped settle her in and cared for her as if she was their own family.
We
are so pleased we moved her as she is now much closer to where we live.

Holbeach Manor looks the part but be wary of the actual level of care. Always short staffed (or that is the reason given for failings), and no response to formal complaints. Manager is a brilliant salesperson, we naively believed the pitch. Too much time spent making decorations and playing Hungry Hippos
instead of basic care. Food items frequently not available.

I visit my wife everyday over the last 2 months and have met all the staff. Everyone is dedicated totally caring, dedicated to the residents and supporting relatives. Any worries I have about my wife is quickly addressed. I am full of admiration for all who work here. If it was in my power I would double
their salaries. The staff is what makes this care home. Thank you to one and all.

I find this Home very disturbing not a lot of stuff around don't keep an eye on the residence as my mum is in there. She's had two falls in the last week since being in there carer was swearing at other residents very homophobic care home. this is the worst care Home I've ever been in. And I have worked
in a few care homes and residential homes also Home care and the Nhs Hospital to be quite honest I wouldn't put my worst nightmare into this home if I had my way I'd move my mother out of this place hence the one star. patients wee on the floors staff just walked by don't bother cleaning it up the place smells of wee. My mum has weed herself a number of times and left her in her own urine hence why she keeps getting urine infections UTIs don't seem to bother you kind of have to tell them that she's got a water infection. Staff need to be retrained know how to respect the residence as this is their home and they're working actually for the residence. I find this place very disturbing.

I regularly visit my friend at least once/week and was invited to attend a community lunch on Sunday 2nd November which was excellent. I attended with 2 more friends and we were seated at a very nicely dressed table in the Garden Room. My friend in the care home was very happy to be joined by us her
friends for Sunday Lunch. The food was delicious and we were made very welcome. I have witnessed a shortage of staff on occasions but understand this is common in the majority of care home. Fortunately my friends has a good group of friends who visit frequently so on occasions we have pointed out problems in her care.
