I am so happy with the care my husband receives from the staff. They are so caring and make sure all my husband's needs are met.
The staff are considerate of my feelings and are very supportive of my husband and me.
It gives me peace of mind when I'm not with my husband that he is very well looked
after.

The staff were very friendly, making me very welcome and were happy to answer any questions I had. They spoke in depth about future projects / activities involving the residents, which I think is important for stimulation and well-being for people at Meadowcroft. I think the staff have a wonderful infectious
enthusiasm for their work and are a great team!
I left the meeting happy and positive!

My multi-disabled brother has been at this care home for than 10 years.
In my opinion, this is one of the best care homes to place a relative or friend with complex needs. Nowhere is totally problem free, but I feel every effort is taken to make the best around in all departments. Top to bottom, keep

It isn't easy to accept that your partner of many years has to go into a care home, but unfortunately, this does happen purely for the care, support and safety they require. My husband has been in and out of hospitals and nursing homes, and Eastlands is the only one he has settled in. All the team members
there are like an extended family now; they truly care about their residents. I personally wrote a letter to them before he was admitted there as to inform them of his likes/dislikes, also gave them a detailed history of his life so they were able to interact straight away with him, it worked. This is the first time in 17 months I have been settled. I can relax myself knowing he is in excellent hands. Thank you so much Eastlands (Robins Unit).

I was very impressed with the environment my friend lives in. It feels so homely when you walk in. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially the new manager. Staff always try to encourage people to take part in activities and there is always plenty of choices.

Exceptional care and wonderful staff. Recent illness for my relative meant that the staff and management were there for them 24 hours and we cannot thank them enough. Positive, calm and caring. Amazing!

When my friend first came in he was in a bad way. Your staff have done a fantastic job at getting him mobile, a little more self-sufficient and so much happier. This doesn't happen unless you have a fantastic team and it shows. I was worried about him initially but the staff here has given me no doubts
whatsoever that he is in the right place. During my first visits, my friend couldn't stand on his own, couldn't hold a conversation and was a shell of his former self, now I can see a glimmer of the person he used to be return.

I find Eastlands Care Home to be kept extremely clean all needs of the service users are met by dedicated staff who show genuine care and understanding with a fun and friendliness that the service users appear to enjoy. Visitors to family members are made welcome and are kept well informed regarding
their family. I personally have high regard for the staff and would recommend Eastlands Care Home to families who are looking for a placement for a loved one.

Lovely, caring staff who do the best they can each and every day for the residents.
The rooms, general areas and office accommodation are all nicely furnished and kept spotlessly clean by the incredible housekeeping team who look after the laundry as well. The food is good and staff assistants are
always available to help residents with feeding as necessary.
My husband is well cared for and the unit he is on is well run. I am kept informed about his treatment and medication and the nursing staff are very visible and accessible. The activities offered have improved over the past 6 months or so and my husband is now very settled; his behaviour is very different to that he exhibited when he first arrived.

Always able to discuss issues with the staff. They take on board any concerns. Care is very good and support is excellent. Medical issues are always dealt with urgently and efficiently by senior staff and nurses.

My father moved into Eastlands a few months ago. Right from the start, everyone has been so helpful, kind and caring, ensuring Dad has been treated with dignity, respect and consideration. The care and nursing staff have been fantastic with Dad, they are professional, calm and caring but always have
time to chat and join in with some fun. The communal rooms are well decorated and homely but attention has been paid to safety. Everywhere is clean and fresh, the cleaning staff take great pride and care in their work. The units feel like big families and Dad is very happy, for this I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart.

Since my dad was admitted in December, me and my family have been very happy with the care provided. All the staff are friendly and helpful, from the carers to the administration staff, they all assist wherever possible and do it with a smile and a positive attitude. Dad settled very quickly, which
we were not expecting due to past experiences. I think this is a reflection of the home and the staff and how much care, effort, and hard work they put in, day in and day out.

The home is clean and the care persons are pleasant and helpful but there are virtually always nurse and care staff shortages. The turnover of staff indicates something is not right. Too many bad chiefs and not enough Indians. The 9-5 people seem not to care or interact with relatives. Six managers
in a very short period of time. Please appoint someone who knows and cares about the place, not just themselves.
