Our brother has been in Roseside for eighteen months, we are still amazed at the high level of care he receives. All staff are so friendly, helpful we feel go above and beyond. The senior team leaders do a brilliant job (especially two specific staff members).

My dad moved into Fernwood care home in December 2024.
The day my dad moved into Fernwood I knew he was going to ok and well looked after.
The home is a beautiful place, so comfortable, so relaxed and spotless.
My dad is well looked after, the staff at Fernwood go above and beyond.
When we visited
dad we feel like we are visiting him at home.
We as a family are totally reassured that dad is fine and he is totally relaxed in himself.
All the staff at Fernwood are angels and we can't thank them enough for all the do for dad.

Since our brother moved to this home we cannot believe the high level of care and support he receives on a daily basis.
Every member of staff we have met are so friendly, not only to our brother but family members too.
He has been in other homes however Roseside, we feel, is above and beyond.of
what weve experienced in the past.
The staff are so kind and attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Plus its immaculate and the food always looks lovely.
We cant thank all the staff enough and would highly recommend this home.

My review is a general review, not pertaining to a specific date or event. My visits to mum are always met with smiles from all staff members I see. I have a good relationship with everyone and they always take time to say hello, ask after my young son, give me updates on mum and offer me a coffee!
Mum
is very settled at Brook View. I see how much she is well cared for - which is very reassuring for me.

Upon arrival the place was immaculately clean and fresh smelling, my Aunty was bathed, dressed, and looking a lot better than the other care homes had her - smelling of urine, faeces, and big scabs everywhere. My Aunty is well looked after here. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Nothing is too

My sister is being nursed at Kavanagh for around 2 years. Not many people could care for her due to not understanding the condition. Kavanagh nursing staff have cared for my sister so well. Staff help me maintain a relationship with my sister and also get me involved in activities. I am always made

My father recently moved to Edgewater, what an excellent service. There is a noticeable improvement in my father since he moved here. The staff are very friendly and helpful and you can definitely tell they are committed to their jobs and learning. The staff are specially trained to support those with
an acquired brain injury. The accommodation is clean and tidy and the ward environments offer low stimulation with an activity ward separate. It is a real shame that these providers are few and far between and that there aren’t more of them across the country.

My father has been a resident of Edgewater and I live 250 miles away. The guest room can be booked with the manager. It has a sofa bed for sleeping for two. There is an ensuite wetroom and the room is wheelchair accessible and beautifully decorated. It has underfloor heating! There is a shared kitchen
with a microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and water fountain. The room has wifi. The room is below the resident's room. I was made welcome by all the staff I met. I was easily able to see my father. Thank you so much.
Outings: my father loves going out and about. I joined him on outings for shopping where he bought himself Christmas socks and cards and warm gloves. Another trip was along the promenade and then to a coffee shop for drinks, biscuits and chat. The carers pushed wheelchair users, everybody had a great time and my father was so well looked after. The staff are so very kind and caring at Edgewater. Dad is 92!
