Since my mum came to Otterburn she, I believe, has had the utmost care that she needs. The staff are friendly and cater to mums every need. One of my gripes is the telephone on her ward; it's hardly answered. There should be more phones available, also at times the communication between myself and 'some
staff' isn't met.

My husband was in Blackmoor Care Home for 2 weeks respite. This was the first time that he had been away from home so it was an anxious time for both of us but the staff were so welcoming and he settled straight away. I am happy to visit my brother in Shire Oaks Court it has a friendly atmosphere. Staff are friendly and respectful there are plenty of activities on offer to residents. The food is very good. The cleanliness of the home is excellent. The laundry facilities are very good. All staff interact with the

We have been very impressed with the level of care given to our son.
The whole staff, from Management to the care staff on the Unit, are very professional and caring.
The Care Hone is kept to a high standard and the meals provided to patients is excellent.
The medical care is also of a high standard.
The
Management also provide leisure activities tailored to individual patients requirements.
I would not hesitate to recommend Blackmoor Care Home.

Care at Maple Grove is excellent. The care and compassion all staff and management have shown my son is so reassuring, as a family we have peace of mind when we have to leave him in their care. Was a resident from Oct 2023 to June 2024. Initially things were good but then I had the worst experience of my life like a horror movie and didnt feel safe. Staff especially management were unprofessional and uncaring and I found out I was being recorded in my room. They got me sectioned which was
the lesser of two evils but they took me to hospital under false pretences and didn't help me to get help for my severe head trauma which I believe is terminal and I have severe PTSD as a result of my experience there.

This a fabulous home, it's got everything my dad needs here. He is so well looked after, 1st class staff, there's never a problem. If we need anything staff is willing to help 100% all the time. It's always spotless clean too. The activities this place puts on are wonderful.

Just wow!
Manager has always got time for you, always listens and acts very quickly to get things done eg: assessments as my partner is a new residents.
Staff are fantastic, always talk to my husband like he is a person, always tell us what they have done and how he's been and they communicate fantastically.

My husband moved to Maypole Grove in November 2024.
From the start of his transition and throughout his settling in period the service the care home, staff and mangers have provided has been outstanding. The staff go above and beyond for every single patient in the care provided to them. It's refreshing
to see nothing is ever too much for the care team at Maypole Grove. There support, guidance and care has been amazing towards my husband. The rooms are very spacious and the food provided is of an extremely high quality and standard.

My sister has been a resident since the opening of Blackmore. She is looked after well and is safe. While the care home has been establishing its procedures, communication has been good and concerns are always discussed professionally.

My brother came here after a stroke and is still with them. The home is wonderful. Staff are so good with him. He came here confused and they have given him back his dignity.
He was taken into hospital recently and yet again, they have taken the best care ever.
We, as a family, can't fault the care
here. The staff are so good. The home is a clean, bright and a pleasant place. Food is very good and everywhere is clean.

All the bedrooms are very welcoming with personal belongings and have an ensuite. I find all the facilities and staff extremely good and caring. The home itself is always clean and tidy and the atmosphere is welcoming. I would always recommend Bridgewood to anyone needing care and nursing.

After a distressing six months of my sister being in respite care, she has now been allocated Otterburn. I am delighted with what I have experienced so far. All staff greet me with a smile. The facilities can meet my sister's needs. The attention to detail in getting her room ready is commendable. I
feel a weight has been lifted off my shoulders knowing my sister will be living at Otterburn.
