Overall, our experience at Thames House is good. My dad expresses that he is a lot happier here than at his previous placement. He has 121 care, however sadly I don't think he has built a relationship with all staff. My concern is that since my dad's arrival in Jan 26 he now spends less time out of bed. This is likely to be driven by my dad but I don't believe the staff actively encourage him, on occasions his personal care could be better. On the whole the nurses are good.

The Dedication and Care of all the Staff at Acer Mews make the Impossible POSSIBLE- my Partner Kevin had been bed ridden for 4 years prior to coming to Acer Mews in 2023 - on 4th July 2026 he Celebrated a massive milestone in his life his 70th Birthday at Acer Mews with friends & family - he had a fabulous time as he is now able to manoeuvre himself around in his power wheelchair, which a few years ago would not have been thought possible at all. Amazing place & Amazing Staff. Thank you to you all.

The positive impact on his life has been clear for us to see already it's truly remarkable ,and we are deeply thankful. It's a huge relief to know he's in good hands, and we appreciate the peace of mind that comes with it. Our conversations with him have been truly enjoyable, positive and it's wonderful to see him smile happy during our visits. Thank you all sincerely.

Trevor has received excellent care during his 3 years at Thames House. The staff are all very caring and keep family well informed. Its peace of mind that our loved one are being looked after so well.

All the staff at Adswood have been amazing, from the initial meeting to caring for our son. They have made the process so much easier than we expected. Communication is brilliant, every time we visit, we are greeted like you would a family. We cannot thank them all enough for the care and support given to our son who had HD and also to us. The building is so welcoming and clean - the food is amazing too. We have had the absolute best experience.

I can't express how grateful I am for the outstanding care my brother Stephen has received since his admission to Acer Mews. After spending six long months in the hospital, where he faced numerous challenges due to his complex health needs, it was evident that he needed a more supportive environment.From the very first day, I noticed a remarkable difference. Stephen was up and about, eating, and even starting to interact with the staff and other residents. It was a breath of fresh air to see him engaged and showing signs of improvement, especially after four months of being confined to his bed.The staff at Acer Mews are truly exceptional. They are not only kind and compassionate but also highly skilled in managing complex needs. Their attentiveness and dedication have made a world of difference for Stephen. It's heartwarming to see him smile and receive the time and attention he deserves.This experience has lifted a huge weight off my shoulders, knowing that he is in such capable hands

My sister is very well cared for by professional, caring and compassionate staff. My sister is happy and settled in Adswood Lodge and all her complex needs are met.

The care my dad receives is outstanding. The home is spotless. The carers are amazing. My dad has complex needs and his carers take it all in their stride. It is like a little family and is more like your own home rather than a care home. I am so lucky to have found such a wonderful place to look after dad.

All the staff at Thames House are all considerate respectful and courteous at all times in person or on the telephone. They always keep me informed about Gary's health wellbeing and healthcare needs.

We are now looking at moving on and I never thought this would be possible but with the staff and the amazing support of management Rob and Emma this is now achievable.

Over all excellent care. We would like to see our family member getting as much outside activity as is practical. Glad to see her weight is stable.

They have done a great job with my dad when he recently had to attend hospital special praise to Becky (Thames House) Dad name Bob. Things improved recently keep it up.

When I visit Thames House the staff are wonderful. They do everything they can to ensure that you feel like you are home. They are personable and professional and keen to go out of their way to help.

The manager of the care home always makes me feel reassured and never dismisses my concerns and worries. She is very approachable at all times and has a caring approach to her management style.

Visit to see my dad who is 1-1 on Heatons Unit. He looked well. Staff were watchful of him, making sure we knew who was with him and where they would be if we needed them. Greeted by the staff when we arrived.

Satisfied with everything at Thames House, he has never received care as good as he does here.

Great care home, no problems. Fun to be with, no problems at all.

I cannot praise the staff enough for the continued care and support they have not only given to my mum but to me also. The care is outstanding and I could not ask for more for my mum.
