All the staff at Adswood have been amazing, from the initial meeting to caring for our son. They have made the process so much easier than we expected. Communication is brilliant, every time we visit, we are greeted like you would a family. We cannot thank them all enough for the care and support given
to our son who had HD and also to us. The building is so welcoming and clean - the food is amazing too. We have had the absolute best experience.

Each holiday has been supported in the best possible way and thoroughly enjoyed each time.
Exemplar care is amazing like home from home as my uncles would say.
He loves being apart of church walk
As a family we are very happy to see the excellent care and commitment that's recieved by our relative .
Living in churchwalk has given him and us so more more hope

I can't express how grateful I am for the outstanding care my brother Stephen has received since his admission to Acer Mews. After spending six long months in the hospital, where he faced numerous challenges due to his complex health needs, it was evident that he needed a more supportive environment.From
the very first day, I noticed a remarkable difference. Stephen was up and about, eating, and even starting to interact with the staff and other residents. It was a breath of fresh air to see him engaged and showing signs of improvement, especially after four months of being confined to his bed.The staff at Acer Mews are truly exceptional. They are not only kind and compassionate but also highly skilled in managing complex needs. Their attentiveness and dedication have made a world of difference for Stephen. It's heartwarming to see him smile and receive the time and attention he deserves.This experience has lifted a huge weight off my shoulders, knowing that he is in such capable hands

The care my dad receives is outstanding. The home is spotless. The carers are amazing. My dad has complex needs and his carers take it all in their stride. Lakeview is a lovely home to live in, staff are like family and are so supportive and caring towards service users. We can have a laugh and banter but they're also there when you need to be serious and need the support and encouragement.
During my time here I have achieved so much from not being able
to walk and suffering really badly with my mental health they have helped and supported me through this. I now walk with one crutch, access the community on my own and have many community engagements, I am part of the local church as a lay minister, a member of the community choir. None of this would be possible without the support of the staff here. They've also supported me in my educational journey in my degree in Biomedical Science of which I'm in my second year.
We are now looking at moving on and I never thought this would be possible but with the staff and the amazing support of management Rob and Emma this is now achievable.

My Partner has been a service user at Acer Mews since June 2024, his physical and emotional needs have been met by staff to an impeccable standard. The staff have always been extremely helpful, caring and professional when I have visited. A lot of thought is always put into activities and presents
for each service user not only did my partner receive some lovely Christmas presents from all the staff, but more recently received a gorgeous bag of chocolate and sweet goodies for Easter.

Visit to see my dad who is 1-1 on Heatons Unit. He looked well. Staff were watchful of him, making sure we knew who was with him and where they would be if we needed them. Greeted by the staff when we arrived.

My friend has nothing but praise for Acer Mews.
From the care he receives to the food.
He has not been outside for years and now gets out in the garden regularly.
He can also now get to the other rooms.

During the time my relative has been in the home, he has not received quality care delivered with compassion and dignity. The specialist care required and the care plan from the local authority have not been followed and further interventions have been required as a direct result of Acer Mews. A formal
complaint has been made to the CQC which is currently investigating. This home has only been open since March 2024.
