My brother has loved living at Springbank where he has been supported and cared for over the last ten years, as have I, as his sister. We have both been very much part of the springbank family and I am still, since his passing. Everyone who works at Springbank is a kind and caring person providing excellent care and support.

The excellence of this care home can not be overstated, the manager, staff are second to none. I visit at least twice a week and have been welcomed every time I go, I have visited a lot of care homes in my long life and would not hesitate to say it's excellent in every way. The reviews of this care home says its only GOOD, It should say OUTSTANDING EXELLENCE that's why it has five stars ***** I am very proud to be part of it as a family member, thank you so much from my heart x sorry it had to be said xxxxx

The building is always clean, smells of flowers and there is always the offer of a cup of tea or coffee for visitors. I strongly recommend the home for any person who needs assistance or even good company.

I can't thank the whole team enough for everything they do!

My son is very happy with Wood House. The staff get him to help out with things, he also is taken out bowling to Cardiff, he has also been to Gloucester and other places. The staff give him as much help as he needs. I ring him up every evening and on their phone to see how he has got on that day and I take him out most Wednesdays. I highly recommend Wood House.

I regularly visit Springbank to visit a friend who lives there. The staff are always very welcoming, and my friend is very well supported and cared for. I am kept up to date with any changes going on in the home.

Our daughter is very happy at Woodhouse, therefore so are we.

Absolutely outstanding, such a happy place to be under Urmston House care. I go often unannounced always clean, tidy and all residents seem very content. Cannot fault Urmston House at all. Just wish other care homes would take note, all the regular staff, you are a credit to our family.

My uncle has been at Urmston House for more than 10 years. As the care home is specifically built for the needs of disabled people, it caterers for him very well whilst still feeling like a home. The main assets are however, the staff and the way its run. I found the care he is given to be excellent. When my uncle's needs changed due to medical issues, new accommodations and equipment were put in place in order for him to stay at the home and be as comfortable as possible.

Everyone very helpful and informative. My brother's accommodation was well maintained and his carer was attuned to his needs.

He is encouraged to join the other residents and join in as much as possible

From the transition to this care home, I feel the staff have been very caring and compassionate - have made the resident comfortable and done their best in all ways they can. The family are very happy with her care and do all they can to accommodate the resident's needs. The staff are very helpful in relaying the family's messages when it's not possible for me to visit. We couldn't ask for more.

From day one, all of the staff have been kind, caring and knowledgeable. Communication with them as a family member has been five stars! Nothing is too much trouble for them! Me and my mum feel safe and happy!

I have always been impressed by the care given to my brother and the way that I am involved with decision making and I am kept informed of any problems or difficulties he has. The management and staffing of Urmston are now exemplary and I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness and care which extends to genuine concern. A culture of person-centred rather than task centred care underpins and ensures this approach.
