I'm incredibly grateful for the care my dad, John, receives. The staff genuinely know and care about him as a person. Early comments like "he's not our John today" meant so much - it showed you were really getting to know him.

You have helped him settle so well, and I can see that he no longer seems stressed. As his dementia progresses, you somehow find ways to communicate and connect with him - you truly "speak dementia".

I'm especially grateful to Danielle, who has formed such a lovely connection with Dad. Some days he may not know my name, but when he sees her, his face lights up. That means more to me than I can say.

You've also supported us, John's family, welcoming us, answering our questions and helping with difficult decisions. The food, entertainment and cleanliness are excellent - Dad adores the food!

Knowing he is happy, safe and cared for lifts so much worry and guilt from me. Thank you for everything you do. You really are angels.

Our dad is very settled and happy at Deerswood. We couldn't be happier with our dad having a place here. The nurses are wonderful people who really care for the residents. I'll take take out for lunch and he lights up when he returns. Danielle has been a focal point for dad and has been fantastic with us, particularly when dad's health has waned in recent times. From top to bottom, Deerswood is run professionally, with a wonderful and positive atmosphere.

Mum came in on a 4 week trial . Her first 10 days i wasn't sure if she was setting in to well having looking after herself for 3 years . She was taken to hospital with a chest infection overnight she said she was looking forward going back to the care home from then forward she settled in and has made friends and joining in with the activities and feels as she adds something to the party. She enjoys the food and is well happy with her room and added photos and pictures that she had at home. I can see a big difference in her and feel happy to go on holiday knowing she is being well looked after. The District nurse noticed how positive her attitude was . Would recommend to anyone to Croft Meadow.

This is the second time mum has come to Hillside Lodge for respite care and again we are very happy with the care she received. The home is a clean and calm environment with friendly, attentive staff who really care about their residents. The rooms and common areas are kept clean and tidy with no bad smells and when we came to pick up we found her things all packed and ready. When I have visited staff have come and asked me how I am doing and if there is anything that they can do for me and if I want to talk about how I am feeling to go in and someone will come and have a cup of coffee or tea everyone ask after my husband and how I am coping which is appreciated and very nice to know that they all care about what I am going through right now

The team at Forest View from admin, activities & team leaders know my mum so well. She is treated with the dignity she deserves & has engaging chats & activities throughout the day. The team have also been very accommodating making it possible for my mum to attend my wedding, including helping her try on outfits & support on the day. I am very grateful of all the care support mum recieves.

As a visitor to a delirium sufferer this and their patience is highly valued & appreciated.

With her debilitating condition she is as happy as she can be. It was lovely to see her well cared for looking smart & hair ect all clean. She appeared to enjoy our visit as she remember some of the fun times we had together. The staff were all very thoughtful patient & encouraging

Really easy to communicate with everyone with regards to organising respite, which will now become permanent care. The home was clean, bright and welcoming upon arrival both before moving her in and on the day of her arrival. The staff always make time to help and answer questions and have genuinely made the process easy for me as someone who was suddenly thrown into this new world with little knowledge.

Knowing mum is happy, safe and well cared for brings comfort to the family.

I was lucky to attend an event as a friend, and I was very impressed by the beautiful garden and cleanliness I saw. The food was great and the standards of care I saw were excellent. Staff showing great kindness to residents and everyone was very happy

My father was intially given 2 weeks respite care at Glebe House, the experience was excellent from the whole team there, they were all very welcoming and put my father and myself at ease straight away, I left him in the knowledge that he would be well cared for in a safe, clean and happy enviorment.

Our mum came to Elmcroft Nursing Home on 11th February for respite care after suffering a fall. Like many families, we were naturally anxious, but we couldn't have asked for a better place.

From day one, every member of staff treated Mum with kindness, dignity and respect. The nursing and care teams were exceptional, showing compassion, patience and professionalism every day. They took the time to get to know her, always making her feel valued and safe.

The management and administrative team were equally supportive, always friendly, approachable and helpful with the many arrangements and paperwork involved. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

Knowing Mum was so well cared for gave our family real peace of mind during a difficult time. We are sincerely grateful to everyone at Elmcroft for their care, kindness and dedication. We would wholeheartedly recommend Elmcroft to anyone looking for a caring and professional nursing home.

Although choosing to not eat meat, he was fed meat.
