I have been overwhemled with the care & gentleness with my husband. He's young & everyone has treated him with love & care, even when he's been challanging. I could not wish for a nicer warm welcoming home, from the staff that clean the rooms, to the chefs + care staff + nursing staff + activities staff. They are kind to me + make me feel so welcome, I am just so grateful that my husband is living here + I have no worries regarding this. It takes a special person to do this work + I thank them all from the bottom of my heart. I go home after seeing him smiling.

Lovely morning with Mum and all the residents for a tea party to support Breast Cancer. All the staff at St Winifred's get involved in these events that they hold for the residents and relatives. A lovely selection of cakes provided for everyone to enjoy. Thank you to everyone from myself and Mum.

From a carer myself of 20+ years I thought it was going to be very hard to find somewhere that would look after my mum. My honest opinion is that the 2 1/2 years my mum was at Lulworth I was always more than happy that she was in good hands. All the staff were very friendly, patient and polite. I felt like not only was my mum part of the family but I was too. The end of life care also was exceptional. I can not praise everyone enough.

I cannot thank everyone at Meyer Care Home for the quality of care my Aunt is receiving. Since arriving my Aunt has blossomed. The standard of care is exceptional and the staff go above and beyond in looking after her. Having had a bad experience at another Care Home I now know my Aunt is safe and well.

My mother was being discharged from hospital as they could do no more for her they wanted to send her home and I did not think it was safe for her to be there. My daughter knew that a customer of hers had her mother in loose valley and said how well she was looked after so I went and had a look around and spoke to Diana and Lynn who were both lovely and caring I felt this was just the place for her and have not been disappointed every one in the home are so caring and friendly I know that my mother is well looked after.

Since my mother was discharged from QEQM hospital, (having spent a month there) to a 28 day assessment bed at St Winifeds in Deal, they have gone beyond in ensuring both her and the family have felt welcome at every stage. This has been and continues to be a very challenging time for us. Having only been admitted a week ago, we were disappointed for her to be spending her birthday (15th Oct) in the care home. However, for the care home chef and wonderful staff to bake a birthday cake, which even considered the fact that she's diabetic, then bring this cake to her in her room, with all staff assembled singing happy birthday, was quite simply humbling. Their care and consideration, empathy and understanding has not only been extended to mum but to her family too. They have made this not only bearable but provided us with a rare moment of joy amongst what is essentially a difficult time. I cannot thank you all enough.

From the moment Mum moved in to the home she was loved by everyone - her beautiful soul shone through even though she had dementia. The staff were so caring, she would stop them and ask for a hug. She would tell them she loved them. As part of her condition she would ask the same questions a million times but the staff treated that same question as if it was the 1st time she had asked it. In her last few weeks the staff would treat her with respect and dignity. Thank you to all the staff, cleaners, carers and cooks for looking after our mum, you are all heroes.

I am very pleased I chose this care home that my mother has been in for some time. It's on its own grounds and has a very nice area outside for the residents to sit. The staff are wonderful, always on hand to speak to and they work very hard. There are a lot of activities for the residents to do if they want to join in otherwise there are plenty books puzzles for them. I have nothing but praise for all staff at this particular Care Home

My Mum is a respite resident at Woodstock Care Home with Dementia. The staff are lovely, caring, spend time with patience & care with Mum & other residents. The home is very clean, as is Mum & there are activities, nails done & painted. Extras like hairdressing, which is value for money & excellent. I viewed a lot of care homes - Woodstock is far the best in the area. We the family are assured mum is in the best care at Woodstock.

My father was kindly taken in @ Loose Valley for restbite, at first I was so very overwhelmed with guilt, but 2 lovely ladys called Diana and Lynne came to assess dad made me feel so much better explained everything talked me threw everything + let us see the home, in doing so the moment I pulled up it felt like home from home Kirsty gave us a warm welcome, and everyone was amazing! Dads been there the whole time he's happy + the staff are all like family now there all so kind + Caring I can't reccomend loose valley enough 5*

5 star service, very caring and thoughtful. Made to feel welcome and all staff very helpful.

The home looks after their patients extremly well and very caring, they also look after visitors to their patients with just as much care and support.

Mum and Dad are given love, support and respect and encouraged to integrate in activities to their individual capabilities. Staff will listen to any issues raised and try to deal with them where possible.

On arriving there is always a friendly welcome by the staff, they are always helpful. Christine appears to be happy and settled.

I saw good and bad practice during my husband's stay at Princess Christian. My main concern was the amount of time the carers spent on their mobile phones. Many residents had cold food as there was a lack of staff. However, there were some real 'stars' at Princess Christian. Christine, Resident Liaison. Patricia (English speaking) on reception. Brenda, food and drink. Alisha, RGN. The above staff did everything to enhance my husband's stay at Princess Christian.

The staff and carers went above and beyond when looking after my husband. We felt very comfortable leaving him in their care. He was treated with humility and compassion, as if he was one of their own family. Alisha was particularly helpful and ensured the family were fully informed of his progress and took time to explain what was needed and why. All the activities that were laid on for the residents and their families were exceptional, and made everyone feel included. It really is like one big family environment, so from the bottom of our hearts, thank-you xxx

My husband has been a resident for the last month. As a family we are greatly impressed with the care he has received. A highlight has been the Barbeque with entertainment held in the garden yesterday, 24th August. The level of care shown by all the staff was excellent.

Fantastic BBQ for patients and visitors. Second one I've been to and both were excellent. Best friendly staff ever.

Only the experience of a loved one in a care home enables you to understand the effect it has. It is totally life changing for the whole family. But every cloud has a silver lining and ours is Abbotsleigh. My husband has been a resident for the last eighteen months. We are able to rest knowing my husband's needs are catered for. All the staff whatever their rolls are lovely people and always there with a smile. Always showing great kindness, patience and understanding to all the residents whatever the situation. As well as my husband's needs being so well covered, we always receive a lovely welcome when visiting and feel very comfortable when there. A very big thank you to everyone.
