Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Overall, the care home is very good. We are always made to feel welcome, and the staff are all brilliant and very friendly. Any information about mam is passed on professionally and quickly. Mam is always treated with dignity, and her needs are seen to quickly. The home is done out nicely, and pictures
of the residents are displayed doing the many activities that take place. We are very happy with mam's care, and she is very happy there.
Reply from Dominique Creighton, Manager at Hylton View Care HomeThank you so much for your kind words and positive feedback. We are delighted to hear that you feel welcomed whenever you visit and that you are happy with the care your mam receives.
Our team works hard to ensure that every resident is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, and it is wonderful to know that this is reflected in your mam's experience. We are also pleased that you enjoy seeing the activities and memories displayed around the home, as creating a happy and engaging environment for our residents is very important to us.
Your comments will be shared with the team, who will be greatly encouraged by your appreciation. Thank you for placing your trust in us to care for your mam. It is a privilege to be part of her journey, and we are delighted to know that she is happy here.

Hylton View Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My dad had been a resident at Hylton View Care Home since 2023, and the care he received was second to none. He loved the food and really enjoyed the daily activities. I especially appreciated how the staff encouraged everyone to get involved - it truly felt like one big family. The staff could never
do enough to help and always went above and beyond for both residents and their families.

Sadly, my dad passed away on 16th May at the care home, surrounded by his loved ones. I will never forget the kindness, compassion, and support the staff showed him throughout his time there. I'll always be incredibly grateful and will continue to support this wonderful care home however I can.

Reply from Dominique Creighton, Manager at Hylton View Care HomeThank you so much for your heartfelt and touching review. We are deeply sorry for the loss of your dad and would like to extend our sincere condolences to you and your family.

It means a great deal to hear that your dad enjoyed his time with us, from the food and daily activities to the friendships and sense of community he experienced. Creating a warm, family atmosphere where residents feel valued, supported, and happy is at the heart of everything we do.

Your kind words about our team are truly appreciated and will be shared with all of the staff. Knowing that we were able to provide comfort, care, and support to both your dad and your family during his time with us, especially in his final days, means more than we can express.

Thank you for placing your trust in us and for your continued support. It was a privilege to care for your dad, and we will remember him fondly.

We were very happy with the care our mam received during the 5 years she was with you. The staff always treated her with dignity, kindness, and respect, and took the time to understand her individual needs. It gave us great comfort knowing she was safe, well cared for, and supported every day. The carers
were compassionate, attentive, and always approachable. We are truly grateful for the excellent care and support provided to both our mam and our family.

My mum's care started in Oct 25, from the very first week staff made huge efforts to get to know her and ensure she felt safe and comfortable. Staff always treat her with dignity and respect and make sure she feels included in any decisions about her care. The activities are regular and varied, tailored
to the needs of the residents with individual sessions to ensure inclusion. The family have all observed how happy mum is in her new home.

My Dad lived at Chichester Court between August 2024 to March 2026. The love, respect and care provided to him was exemplary. He was very much a part of the Chichester Court family and treated as such.

The staff are all amazing. They are a credit to themselves and the home. They really looked after

my Dad physically, mentally and emotionally and provided lots of stimulation and activities for him and all the residents.

I could not have asked for any more of a care home.

The support they gave to my mother and I when he died was also gratefully appreciated.

I cannot thank them enough.

My husband has been in the caring hands of Alexandra View Care Home for nearly 12 years. This is an efficient, caring and welcoming home. All staff under the guidance of the present manager are simply the best. It is not good to single out staff I know, but the catering, reception and entertainment
staff make it a home. It is teamwork, and all staff, nursing staff, are highly efficient and very patient, caring and understanding. It works because all staff care for the residents and deserve medals.

My mam went into Valley View care centre for respite. The staff were kind and considerate when we viewed the home before mam went in. All the staff are caring and friendly, mam is happy to accept their help and is comfortable when assisted, especially for personal care. Mam initially didn't want to
join in, but is now actively enjoying the daily activities. Her room is clean and tidy and we have made it homely with her own belongings. Her clothes, bedding and towels are laundered regularly to a good standard. My mam has alzheimers and is so much calmer getting professional care in this safe environment.

Since the introduction of a new manager Rosemount has significantly improved and continues to make changes for the better.
The home is currently fully staffed and my mother is treated well and with dignity by all. I am reassured she receives the appropriate care and support.
She enjoys the food
and has put much needed weight on recently.
The activity staff are also excellent and encourage all residents to join in. There were many fun activities over the xmas period.
Communication with relatives is good, the manager has an open door policy and I am confident that any issues will be sorted out as soon as possible. The monthly relatives meetings are very useful and new Admin staff has improved communication via emails and social media.
Overall Rosemount Care Home has a bright and happy atmosphere and deserves the 'Good' CQC rating recently awarded.

Rosemount is a wonderful care home that feels warm and homely, made by the caring and kind staff. Moving my dad into a care home, due to his increasing needs was an emotional wrench for our family. However, Norma and ehr team have been so supportive of my dad and us as a family that the transition has
been as smooth as possible. The staff are caring and attentive. They work so hard to create a home from environment. The food is top notch and the activities are engaging and fun. I could not recommend Rosemount highly enough!

Since my husband moved to Primrose Lodge in October this year I have found all the staff friendly and helpful. The carers all act swiftly to any issues, as do the nursing staff. All measures for his comfort and safety have been put in place swiftly. The fact that my husband is looking better than on
admittance is proof to me that he is being assisted with his eating and drinking. As I do not know what activities he can take part in I cannot comment. The management act to any queries I have. On the value for money I am unable to comment. We appreciate all their efforts.
