Provides very good care for my mum. Staff very friendly and engaging. Always warm and welcoming.
Only suggestion is the dining/lounge very dated, shame it is not separated for eating and relaxing!

In the few months mother has been here, she has been treated with respect and helpful kindness. She has developed a happy bond with staff, trusting them to look after her needs.
We, as a family, are pleased with how Mother has settled in.
We also have nothing but praise for the staff that attend
to her.

My father has been attending Highview Daycentre for many years now. He was diagnosed with dementia. Upon attending the centre 6 days a week since he first went, has improved his wellbeing. Everyone gives 100% in care & attention. Staff & the Transport drivers go over & beyond. I do not know what I would
have done without the centre providing such a level of service. This has enabled me a lot of freedom and a stress free life . I can not thank them enough for all they do. An absolute gem of a place!!!

Mum has only been here few months, so far I am really pleased with the experience from moving in to now. Mum settled well and you can see how much the staff care. Adapting to her needs with ease ensuring she is included in activities. I feel comfortable knowing mum is safe, fed, warm and cared for.
Everything that is important to her needs and comfort. Very happy.

My husband came to Wisden Court last November and he settled very quickly into the home. He is happy and content which makes me feel that too. He loves the staff and they always include him with activities and events. They have a plan each week for residents to join if wanted. Well organised home and
residents come first always.

I visited my friend on Poppy unit. The home was clean, and all residents were engaged in activities laughing and enjoying themselves. It was a pleasure to see. All residents were clean and presentable. You could see they genuinely cared and enjoyed their job. My friend was full of joy, and that was
very reassuring to see.

Dad comes to the Day Centre twice a week and has been coming for over a year now. He was reluctant at first when he was diagnosed but we are all glad he was persuaded. He loves the bus trip back and forth, through all the villages he remembers from when he was working, and especially if they put the
music on. He likes the activities at the centre, especially painting, singing, quizzes and meeting animals - anything out of the usual routine, really. The staff are friendly and helpful. Dad's two sessions also give my Mum a chance to have some time to herself, to get things sorted in the house or have appointments. We are all pleased with the day centre's service.

The day centre is very wonderful place and my Nan really enjoys going twice a week. Sits in the puzzle room and enjoys doing puzzles and chatting with everyone. Staff are so helpful and kind.
Nan lives on her own in flat and coming to the day centre has really helped her get out more and socialise.

I could not be happier with the care and support my mother is receiving. Finding a place that truly understands and excels at caring for someone with dementia can be challenging, but this home has exceeded all my expectations.
From the moment I first visited, the staff were brilliant, warm, and welcoming.
It's clear that they are not just performing a job; they genuinely care for the residents. The level of friendliness displayed by every member of the team is truly outstanding.
I have been consistently impressed with their care. They handle every situation with professionalism, kindness, and immense patience. Knowing that my mum is in such safe, capable, and compassionate hands provides me with such peace of mind.
A big thanks to every single member of the team for the dedication and hard work they put in every day. Thank you for helping my mum and for making her feel comfortable and valued.

Westwood

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
The decision to put a parent into a care home is a tough one. We visited Westwood and instantly knew it was the one. Westwood allowed us to continue to be our mums children and gave our mum fabulous quality of life. Her dementia meant she needed care and love and she had it in abundance. She maintained
her own independence as long as she could and as things got harder for her the care just stepped up naturally with no need for anyone to be asked. She was treated like a member of a truly superb family, and what's more so were we. Our mum loved where she lived and loved the people who looked after her. Nothing was ever to much trouble and her needs were always met. It was fun, caring and immensely loving. Activities were plentiful and every single person knew and respected her wants and needs. When I say everyone I mean everyone, carers, cleaners, cooks, the whole team. As a family we were welcomed, and we attended many events. A truly wonderful place to live and team to be surrounded by

Our Mum has been a resident at Woodbury Court for nearly 3 months now. Mum is extremely happy here and it has given her a new lease of life. All of the staff are so attentive and really care about the residents. All of Mum's personal, health and medical needs are addressed with genuine care, which
is so important to us as her children. It has alleviated these pressures from us, we can visit and enjoy our time with Mum. Mum has been on several trips to places such as Southend and Maldon, which is having such a positive impact on her wellbeing. The communication from Neil regarding Mum's health is proactive and so helpful. Paul is such a motivated member of the team and his interactions are contagious. We highly recommend this home. Mel, Lorraine and their team are incredible people who we believe care for the residents as if they were their family. Review from Michelle and Gary (daughter and son)

I'm writing a review having just visited my dad today who is 88 and in the early stages of dementia. He has been living at Frank Foster just over a year now. It was a big change for him, but he has settled better than we ever hoped. He is still mobile and able to get out and about, and from the moment
he arrived we were able to make his room feel very much his own - a safe, cosy haven. When too many days go by before I can visit, as happened this week, I feel worry, but consistently I find my dad comfortable, content - sometimes quite perky! Frank Foster staff are kind, friendly, courteous, patient and skilled. They work incredibly hard and look after my dad and the other residents with genuine care and the utmost respect for dignity. They have taken the time to get to know his likes and interests and make every effort to incorporate meaningful, innovative, creative activity into day-to-day life. Relatives are also involved and included as much as they ask or need to be.
