My father has been at Chatsworth Grange Nursing Home and I now feel I can relax knowing he is happy and well looked after. The home is spotless, the food is amazing, staff are very attentive and always have time to spend if my dad needs a chat.

My mum has been a resident at Chatsworth Grange for the last 13 months. Her room is always warm which is very important as she really feels the cold. The staff are friendly, professional and show mum a great deal of empathy. She is well cared for 24/7 which gives us peace of mind, knowing she is settled
and safe. We are always made welcome every time we visit, the staff provide support to loved ones as well as the residents. Thank you all for all your hard work & dedication.

Our mum was at Elm Park for 3 years, totally bed bound the whole time. The room was the most spacious and attractive we could find in the whole area - particularly important for her as she retained mental capacity. She was looked after by the staff with great care and genuine affection.
In her
last days the support she and we received was outstanding - I don't see how it could have been any better. I was particularly struck by how many of the staff came to say goodbye, some in tears.
Putting your mum into care is an incredibly difficult decision. Thanks to all at Elm Park, for your support and care.

My mum moved in Sept 25, since then she has had the best care from all the team. As a nurse myself I know what excellent care is. As a family we felt care, love & understanding. Compassion at it's best. As mums health deteriorated, we were totally reassured that she was in good hands. We cannot thank
the team enough, registered nurses, carers, domestics and the admin team. They are all angels. Will always recommend this home.

My mother spent the last five and a half weeks of her life in Chatsworth Grange, when her changing needs necessitated a move from residential to nursing care.
My first impressions, on having a very informative tour with Colin (in charge of maintenance), were of a bright, clean, welcoming place.
I
would like to express my sincere thanks to all the staff involved for the exceptional care they gave my mother during this time. In particular Juanita, the first nurse to greet my mother on her arrival at Chatsworth Grange, was also instrumental in successfully managing her symptoms. This enabled her to have a peaceful and pain free end to her long life.
Staff of all designations were always so warm, kind and attentive, not only to my mother but to family visitors, especially in the last few days. The wonderful carers who looked after my mother so closely have eased us into our loss. I am so very grateful.

I visit without appointment about twice a week. My wife is confined to bed and is always warm, comfortable and clean. Often having had a bath and often with her hair washed. She can be 'challenging' but the staff are always very reassuring and give me a huge amount of support. All wonderful and doing
an incredible job in what can be difficult situation. A lovely nursing home.

Mum (Carol no 43 - Dovedale) has spent a year in another care home, she was very unhappy. As a family we moved Mum in this week. Our experience was so different. They were all so welcoming & friendly. Painted mums room, Colin was fantastic. For the first time today I saw Mum happy & sat eating. So relieved.

Mum spent her last 4.5 years here on her journey with dementia. She was loved and cared for to a very high standard. The residents here enjoy 3 healthy meals a day midday snacks and ice-cream. The activity crew keep them entertained and stimulated.
Mums end of life care was outstanding. She was kept
comfortable, medicated and dignified right until her last breath. Her exit from the care home was done with upmost respect. The whole experience was overwhelmingly beautiful. Thankyou so.much. on the day of mums funeral. Leaving from Elm park we were welcomed with a trolley of drinks and nibbles . Mum was walked out by a number of staff members showing respect for mum. Really can't thank you enough. I will continue to visit the residents who I have grown to love. Thankyou also for making me feel so welcome.

I go and se my wife on a very regular basis. I go 5 days per week spending many hours with my wife. I am made very welcome every time I come to see my wife. The care and support given by the care workers and nurses is 1st class in every way. This is all due to the excellent way the management run this
geat nursing home. This nursing home has to be one of the best in this area and beyond.

The care home management offers genuine warmth & care for both residents & their families. The activity staff are with a particular mention for their continuous interaction with residents. Chatsworth Grange is light years ahead of my grandfather's previous home.

The home is providing a very good level of care and well being. The building is in very good condition, bright and well-decorated. The staff are very, very good. Cleanliness is 10 out of 10. All in all, our opinion of the home is run in a very professional and caring way.

My wife entered Chatsworth Grange Nursing Home in December 2021 when she required specific nursing care. I had no prior experience of the home, but from the outset found a well run, professional team who quickly made not only my wife, but also myself and visitors welcome. My wife is on the EMI Unit,
where she and some other challenging residents are cared for in a most professional manner. In my wife's case, she is 'loved' as well as cared for. All staff from the office and management, cleaners, maintenance staff and entertainment are offered to ensure a happy environment.

My close friend is in your home. Her level of care is poor. I am concerned that she is not being changed because on 4 occasions her husband has found her in bed that is by bowel and urine wet through. On 2 occasions, her bed frame has also been covered in bowel and urine, so it seems she has not been
kept clean. I have photos on my phone of her last injury. Why was she left unattended in her wheelchair? He head injury looks shocking. Not enough space to conclude this matter. When the last letter was sent, we had a review with the area manager, which did not last long.

Overall Chatsworth is a very good home, management I found to be excellent. Some care staff better than others, rooms a little tired in my opinion but fees are good, so reasonable. I find all staff approachable and helpful. Any problems I have found are dealt with promptly and sorted.

I just wanted to share how fabulous Elm Park Care Home is. The staff at Elm Park cared for my grandmother for around 7 months before she passed away. During this time they looked after her like she was their own relative, nothing was too much trouble, they treated her with dignity and respect. Nurses
here knew more than the doctors did with relation to medication that was safe for her to have administered, with her previous medical history. During her final days, the nurse contacted my mum and advised that we need to spend as much time with my grandmother, as she was deteriorating. For 3 full days and nights, 4 of us stayed with my grandmother, no restrictions were placed on our visitation.
Nothing was too much for staff, they were kind, considerate and compassionate. The home itself has many amenities, the food is great, the place is clean and it is very secure. I cannot give the care home and the staff enough praise, they deserve the premier league football player wage.

I am generally quite happy with the care my mum receives. She has settled in well into the home and has grown fond of the carers. My biggest concern is that the home was recently visited by CQC and they doubled the amount of staff that were working for their visit. Why? If the home thinks that that
this is what the staffing level should be to pass a CQC visit then why isn't it like that all the time?

My mum came into Elm Park on the back of a really long hospital stay. When mum arrived she was so very poorly, really frail and struggled with basic tasks - that was 10 weeks ago. The change in her due to the care, support and time given by the Elm Park team is nothing short of miraculous. She went
out today to the theatre to watch a play. I am still in shock because mum has improved so much both physically and mentally and that is down to the care and support she receives from this wonderful care home. Thank you! Mum is the love of my life and all the time with her is precious you have given us.

My mother went into Elm Park Care Home for a weeks respite care. All the staff showed great compassion and care from the minute she entered the building. They assessed her needs and catered for everything to help make her stay very comfortable and memorable. The room was really well equipped and very
clean. The choice of food was really beyond what I expected. The activities gave a very wide selection and everybody seemed to enjoy taking part.

My partner has been in this home for several months now. At first, she was unsettled and now eating. The staff took care of her and she started to eat and settled. I believe she has gained weight. She has taken part in activities which tire her out. She is always clean and well-dressed. The staff have
taken very good care of her hair which always looks neat and tidy.
