Iam happy with the care my husband receives at the Fountains, the staff and Management Team are very caring, friendly and approachable and the activities ladies do an excellent job. My husband is treated with respect and dignity and always looks clean and tidy when i visit. My only criticism is that
the food is not to a very good standard, on several occasions sausages have been served for breakfast and then again on the same day i.e they are served up as sausage casserol or toad in the hole with sloppy mashed potatoes and overcooked vegetables for the main dinner. The menu's on the table do not always reflect what is being served that day, usually it is something completely different and when served the food is not very hot.

The meals are very repetitive and inexpensive, minced meat, sausages and pasta. I have found there is a lack of respect from the laundry room staff, to my husbands
personal belonging, with bleach on dark jogging bottoms with no explanation, also items going missing.
But on the whole the care,
I'm happy with.

When my wife, Ellen, was discharged from hospital after a ten week stay we as a family were immediately impressed with Fountains first impression was of cleanliness, the whole home is spotless. The care staff on floor two are professional, well trained, very welcoming to my family and other visitors.
From the front office staff activity team to catering staff and cleaning staff they have been brilliant. Mustn't forget Claire and Vanessa. Five stars all round.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
The care has been exceptional, kind, caring, supportive, attentive, from all the staff led by Geraldine at Clarendon House. All the staff have been friendly, assertive and I find it very endearing how they call him "Papa".
The home is clean, and welcoming, the food is prepared in the kitchen and
always smells delicious. I am often asked if I would like a cup of tea or coffee. Most importantly he is happy and that means more to me than anything. If he wasn't I would know, as he would tell me.
I am contacted when needed for updates and always greeted with a smile from staff members.
This has been the best experience and care for my Dad since he moved into Clarendon House for care. The activities and his room comforts make it so homely, and it is always warm and smells fresh and clean.
