Review of Willow Park from Betty H (Wife of Resident) published on 3 August 2026 Submitted via Postal Card•
Overall Experience
My husband was admitted on 2nd July & died on 10th July in the home - Without exception everyone was so kind & helpful in such a difficult time for me & my family. We couldn't have asked for anything better, the way he was looked after & the help we had as a family. I would thoroughly recommend the home to anyone wishing to put their loved one in care.

Review of Willow Park from Stuart W (Husband of Resident) published on 3 August 2026 Submitted via Postal Card•
Overall Experience
It was a great relief to our family when my wife was offered a room on the second floor of Willow Park Care Home particularly as it is located in our home town of Pontifrack. After a 2 week stay in hospital we had to find a home offering 24/7 medical care for her and Willow Park is already proving to be the right place. I have been very impressed with the way the home is run and the caring nature of the staff to whom nothing is too much. The accomodation is spacious and well laid out so that the resident and staff are always aware of what is happening.
My only criticism is about the lack of car parking space for visitors, staff, ambulances and the pubic during services during the working day. Could not more parking be provided within the site?

Overall Experience
Birch Park Care Home exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment Mum moved in, the staff showed remarkable compassion, patience and dedication. They treat every resident with dignity and respect, taking the time to understand their individual needs and preferences.
The level of care provided is exceptional, and it is reassuring to know that our Mum was in such capable & caring hands. The staff are always friendly, approachable, & willing to offer support. There is a genuine sense of community within the home. We are incredibly grateful for everything the team did for Mum & would not hesitate to recommend this care home to anyone looking for outstanding dementia care

Review of Willow Park from Joe D (Grandson of Resident) published on 3 June 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
My grandma was a resident with Willow Park care home from January to her passing in April. I can not state how highly I regard Willow park and the whole team. From the very beginning Victoria the care manager, helped me throughout the initial process for getting my Grandma into the home and with the social worker for her funding. Victoria was always on hand throughout our time at the home, with a warm smile and caring approach to her. You could tell she genuinely cared for all her residents and knew each and every one of them. The smiles on the residents faces as she would speak to them, spoke volumes.
The whole care team from the cleaning crew to kitchen crew, to care team and leaders were amazing. You can see each and every one of them loved their jobs (even when they had tough days) and treated each and every resident with respect and true care. I could name every care staff that were so brilliant with my Grandma, but this review would go on for ages. They're all so wonderful.

The staff are extremely helpful, thoughtful and informative, and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They get to know each resident very well and treat them all as individuals according to their specific needs. There are plenty of activities and entertainment for the residents to get involved with, and it's lovely to see them engaging with everyone - including the staff. No matter what time of day it is, you are made to feel welcome and included its a very happy place to be.

Willow Park care care home very friendly the minute you go through the door, always say morning/afternooon how are you, my mother-inlaw loves the attention she always receives a hug, smile, 'where have you been today' (when we take her out before lunch) her room is always clean, tidy, clothes are washed, always put away, we may loose things but very helpful finding them again.
I love that they do loads of different activities through the day, and everyone joins in, they don't leave anyone out, very friendly atmospher, very pleased, always make time for any questions you have, lovely place to be in for everyone.

Review of Oak Park Care Home from Claire B (Daughter-in-law of Resident) published on 5 May 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
Since we moved my father-in-Law to Oak park Care Home, in his best interests, as he had been found outside wandering at all hours where he lived alone before, and was not safe, he has been treated with dignity and respect, and the care has been fantastic. Myself and his son had been his primary Carers, seeing him sometimes 3-4 times day and night, for months due to his deterioration in his health previously at his old address, but we feel so reassured knowing he is being looked after so well there, and they are doing everything they can to help him settle in well. He is eating and drinking well, and sleeping so much better, and in a better routine, and is socialising, and seeing more people than he has done in months. We love that he is so close to us so we can continue to see him every day, and our 5yr old loves to go to the Care home and see his Grandad and all the other residents there too. It really is a lovely place, we have no concerns, and appreciate everything the staff do.

Review of Oak Park Care Home from Eddie R (Son of Resident) published on 5 May 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
Oak park have been welcoming and caring towards my Dad, and have acted as an advocate for him from the start. We live close but can always ring, and they will put him on loudspeaker for us to talk to him. Unfortunately they have had to deal with my 'Absent' Sibling who lives 200 miles away from my Dad, and who doesn't help with his daily cares, but criticises me (his primary carer/ NOK) and my decision to move him into respite, in his best interests, and for his safety.
Oak park have always followed policy and procedure and taken advice from the police and social services when needed. They continue to give professional and fantastic care to my Dad despite all the added issues that have been caused. Dad has eaten/ drank better, his sleep has improved, he is joining in with activities, and is getting much more social interaction too. Can't thank them enough and would recommend them if you're thinking of making the difficult decision like we did but most importantly he is safe now there

Review of Oak Park Care Home from L W (Daughter of Resident) published on 29 April 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the care my father is receiving at Oak park care home/bond care. Specifically, there was an incident involving a cut on my father's elbow. Unfortunately, the regional manager did not follow up with me as promised. Despite assurances that I would be contacted by email, I received no communication, nor was an incident report created. This lack of follow-through is deeply concerning, as it directly impacts both my father's safety and my trust in the care provided. I request that this matter be escalated to the Care Commissioning Group so that it can be properly investigated and addressed. I expect a prompt response outlining the steps that will be taken.

Review of Sycamore Park Care Home from Robert T (Husband of Resident) published on 8 April 2026 Submitted via Postal Card•
Overall Experience
As soon as I visited Sycamore Park I knew straight away that it was the care home that I wanted my wife to stay, and every day since then has left me in no doubt that it was the right decision. The home is clean and tidy, the chef does a brilliant job with the food and they provide activities both morning and afternoons everyday, but their biggest asset is their staff, they are absolutely fantastic, you can tell that by the way they treat residents, and relations more like friends. They go the extra mile for special occasions like birthdays, valentines day etc. Cannot praise them high enough, they give me peace of mind in their care for my wife.

Overall Experience
My mum has been at Sycamore Care Home for nearly 5 years, during this time her health had gradually worsened due to her medical condition but throughout this period Sycamore Care Home managed the situation with care, compassion and ensuring mum had dignity at all times. Mum always had a smile on her face and never stayed in her room during the day as there was constant companionship from fellow residents and carers. Lots of activities too. During the time at Sycamore we have created many lovely memories. I genuinely don't think mum would have lasted as long as she did, without the care package put in place which Sycamore were a key part of. When every I mentioned Sycamore Park to external medical staff, such as SALT, Dementia Nurse etc. They always had a glowing view of the care home, which as health professionals was very satisfying to hear and simply re enforced my own view of them.
In the final weeks of mums life, not enough words of appreciate can be given, they were Fantastic.

Thank you for such a lovely review - this means a lot to me and the team here. Mum was such a huge part of our Sycamore Park family, a big character with an even bigger heart! Overall Experience
Mum was a resident in Willow Park for a little over 3 years. Every time we visited, she was comfortable, clean and tidy. The personal care was performed with kindness and dignity. As time went on, we noticed mum became happier through the care, companionship and friendliness of the staff. She had complex needs, and all of them were met adequately, from the comfortable wheelchair to suitably prepared food and drink. All the staff were friendly and welcoming to us as visiting family, and we will always be grateful for the love and care shown to our mum. A sincere thank you to all.
