Claydon House have been excellent in caring for Mum at short notice after her fall and need for respite care. From the start, they made everything easy, visiting her at home to assess her needs and ensure they could provide the right environment. They chose a room that suited her well and gave us confidence
in the care she would receive. Visiting is flexible, and we are always made to feel welcome and able to join activities and meals. The house is clean, well-appointed, and her en-suite room has a lovely view and good access to shared spaces. Staff helped her set up the room comfortably and encouraged her to bring familiar items from home. Mum has made good progress, is settling well, enjoys chatting with other residents, and is treated with kindness and dignity. She says she likes the home, and we can see she is regaining her mobility. The management and staff are friendly and work hard to make Claydon feel like a home while offering high-quality nursing care.

The staff have been very kind and helpful in getting the move organised. it is a calm and light space and we are very pleased with the care so far. The room is well-equipped and comfortable and not at all clinical. Visitors are always welcome.

My father has been at Claydon House for just over a month and the staff have been so supportive, answering our numerous questions and taking time to help Dad settle. He is enjoying the food so much he has put on weight! I feel so reassured that he is being well cared for in a calm, kind and gentle environment.

Interesting. Most impressed by the Christmas Fayre at the end of November, the work the staff put in was great. Terrible day but a good total towards Help the Homeless.

I would like to thank the wonderful team on the ground floor for their superb care of my mother. At a recent hospital appointment the consultant was very impressed by the comprehensive notes and information I was given to take to the appointment by the team. It appears this is not what they normally
see, but it is standard practice for Southlands Place. The consultant also commented on how well cared for her skin is. "You are somewhere very special" were his words to her. We know that. My mother is cared for so well and not just physically as her emotional wellbeing is just as important to them.

My dad has been a resident of Heffle Court for 11 months now. Since our first meeting, Dad has been treated and cared for with dignity, love and respect. We have been kept well informed of any issues concerning Dad's health and mental and physical well-being. The staff caring for Dad are truly wonderful
people, and Dad trusts them with his personal care. I really feel our family and the staff at Heffle are a team who want to make sure Dad has the very best care.

My husband was admitted onto the 2nd floor, very much mentally alert but in reality at the end of life, and I was unable to continue looking after him at home. Not only were the staff professionally competent and personally engaging with him as the resident, but I feel that that they all equally supported
me and my emotional needs at such a challenging time. The environment of the home is light and bright, for residents able and inclined to take part in activities there is plenty to occupy them, the food is plentiful and generally of a high standard, and the flexibility of visiting second to none. In my husband's last week on a syringe driver, I was able to stay in his room overnight, and was able to feel a part of his life closing down, in a very comfortable and compassionate way.

A lovely setting, with a very caring and kind nursing team. Southlands has a calming feel to it, and I always feel welcome when popping in to visit.
I am very grateful that my father is able to be a resident and receive the care he needs, to support with a nasty degenerative illness.

Mum arrived in a poor state of health after 16 weeks in hospital. Slowly but surely and with great kindness, care and expertise, the staff helped her settle and rest relax and repair giving her a wonderful last year of life. She had company, fun activities, parties, entertainment- a full social calendar!
As her life was drawing to a close the care was sensitive as were the meetings with family. She was at peace, looked beautiful and we were so touched. Thank you.

Lesley and the entire team at Claydon House Care home are amongst some of the kindest and most supportive people I've ever met. My mother needed a two week respite care which we were able to sort out in just a few days allowing my mother to move in quickly. The team have all been brilliant and supported
my mother where I am 130 miles away in the middle of the country. They have looked after her every need including helping her with some minor medical issues. The whole service from initial contact to checkout has been 5 star, I'd give them more but the scale doesn't go that far.

Everyone is very welcoming when you visit. Residents are really cared for and content. You can ask for anything and everyone is always happy to help. It's really lovely to see the residents engage in activities, they have singers visit the home, day trips etc.
Very caring and attentive staff.

My mum has been a resident at Heffle Court for over three months now. Vlad and Julie went above and beyond to admit her urgently and were so helpful to me and my brother in dealing with the necessary paperwork and getting mum's belongings sorted out when she moved in. The home is exceptionally well
managed and run. The staff are all so kind, thoughtful and welcoming, and nothing is too much trouble for them. Every time I visit, they update me on how Mum is and what they are doing for her. They all work well together and are highly professional, while maintaining a relaxed and happy atmosphere.

I have visited friends and relatives in many care homes but never have the words care and home been more fitting. The staff are welcoming, professional and clearly have the best interest of the residents in their care. The residents were all engaged in conversation or activities and no one looked lonely
or unhappy. This is clearly a home well managed and run but felt like a home and not an organisation. If you are looking for somewhere for a loved one do go and have a look around Claydon House. You won't be disappointed.

My first visit to a loved one today. Claydon House was beautifully presented. The Staff were super. We were offered coffee on arrival. Our loved one was clearly being well looked after in a beautiful room which was clean, warm and personalised.
When a person you love is vulnerable and needs to be cared
for it is a stressful and scary time...but when you meet staff with warm smiles and time for you....it means the world. Thank you. Xx
