As with all care homes, staff turnover & retention can be a challenge.
The nursing staff - excellent! The new Manager is very approachable.
The newly decorated dining rooms look light & inviting & I have only heard good things about the food & the Chef.
During the past month, there have been problems with broken lifts. On occasions, no working lift, which has been an issue for both my mother, to go down to the garden & for my father visiting. I understand this has now been resolved.
The gardens are well maintained and there is a pleasant atmosphere at Cranmer Court.
Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and balanced review of your experiences at Cranmer Court. We are delighted to hear that you always receive a warm welcome on your visits, and that you have found the nursing team, our approachable new manager, and the freshly decorated dining areas to be so positive. Your comments about the food and the atmosphere are also greatly appreciated.We recognise your observations around staff changes and the recent challenges with the lifts, and we are grateful for your understanding as we worked to resolve them. All visitors have remarked on the lovely building and how comfortable
There's always someone within reach if we require help with anything.
The food is excellent and remains hot even though it's served in her room.
