Jenny is really good and is always available to talk to. Staff are caring with residents and will contact me or my sister when needed. Care home is really clean and well kept.

My dad stayed at The Beeches for 3 weeks convalescence. He enjoyed his time there. All the staff are friendly and chatty, making all the family feel welcome. The room was bright and sunny and clean. The staff understood the importance of hydration, to help him, monitored his fluid intake and encouraged him to drink. The food was very good, helping him gain weight. We felt he was safe there and his health improved quicker than we had expected. He liked all the staff and was happy with his care.

As a family (four siblings) we stayed 24hours a day right until Dad passed away in his sleep on 22/8/26. The respect the staff showed to us was over and above, and we are so grateful

My father Denis was resident at Bannatyne for the last few months of his life and sadly passed away on 22nd August, his final few weeks on EOL care in Bannatyne was very difficult for myself and siblings watching Dad slip away slowly but I must say the care & attention given to my Dad and us family members was outstanding and second to none. They all cared for him like he was their father which was lovely and appreciated, in particular the palliative nurses Andrea, Stacy, Melanie, Donna and Angela in particular gave exemplary care to Dad and our family which made a huge difference to our father on his last week on this earth. Thankyou. X

Management frequently highlights their commitment to resident dignity and respect in public responses. However, based on our experience, we find it difficult to reconcile these statements with the reality of the care provided, such as missed life critical medication. While we recognise the significant pressures placed on frontline staff, these incidents were profoundly disheartening and unacceptable.

My dad was admitted as a permanent resident to Deangate recently. Prior to that he was living at home alone. I have seen his health vastly improve since he has been in Deangate. The carers are superb and the management has a really friendly approach with complete oversight of the care which together results in an outstanding service. The home is really like a lovely home environment. It is clean, warm, and friendly. The food is excellent and home cooked thanks to Terry and her team. I love visiting him and have had all my fears and anxieties about placing him in care home removed. This home really demonstrates what good care is about. A big shout out to Rachael who organises regular events and keeps people stimulated. The home is extremely responsive to his medical needs and has put in place physical therapy, eye and hearing appointments and regular checks of his health. He's even had a lovely hair cut. He remains dignified and in control. Thank you to all at Deangate you are great.

on behalf of my mother and myself l would like to say what an amazing group of people work at the beeches. the level of care / compassion and humour shown by these wonderful people is truly amazing. always interacting with the residents and don't get me started on the amount of food and drinks ! My mother put weight on . I really can't see how the beeches could be improved. thank you all xx also a big shout out to kendra who is an absolute power house

I would not recommend this home to anyone looking for care for a vulnerable family member.

My mam has settled in great she has been there since February, all the staff are really friendly, easy to approach, really easy to talk to about anything at all, they are so nice and patient with my mam, I cannot fault them with anything, my mam has her own few favourites, its like my second home too, its such a nice environment to be in and the activities are great to get the residents and family involved

Lovely clean spaces. Delicious food. Plenty of personal care and conversations and interactions all positive and fun. My aunt is very happy here and has never been so happy in years. All staff warm and friendly.

The staff are kind, caring and compassionate and always treat residents with dignity, respect and patience. I feel reassured that our loved one is being cared for in a safe and friendly environment: we have been extremely pleased with the care and support provided.

The wife's review went as well as could be expected. I was included in the review and my interventions listened too.

Staff are friendly and helpful and quick to resolve any problems that arise. Michael can be quite challenging with refusing to eat and drink but staff are good at encouraging him. His birthday was celebrated with a cake made for him and a photo taken of him with it while wearing the birthday hat. I am happy that they are doing everything to make him settled.

The home is fantastic, everyone makes you feel relaxed. The carers really care, it shows, kind, would definitely recommend this home to my friends. Activities very good at what they do, informing us on social media. Cannot fault on anything.

All the staff are very helpful and very friendly. We have no worries about my dad. The home is always clean.

The overall home appears clean and tidy . On visiting my Mum the residents appear cared for and the staff appear kind and caring. I have chatted to residents and carers with positive feedback.The care industry is overstretched with lack of money and resources but Beechwood overall appears safe with a happy atmosphere. Thank you for caring for my Mum .Unable to comment on meal times .

When I come in to visit my brother I am always met with a smile and frendly staff. My brother is always clean, he looks well and tells us that he likes it here when I ask why he says everyone is nice and the meals are very good. If he needs anything when we are their he is attended to quickly. They never shrug or complain about him. He is not easy to look after he likes to tell tales that take a while and they listen to him with patience. A trully wonderful place, clean tidy. All staff approachable.
