I find all staff very friendly and willing to go the extra mile for the residents. The staff have great patience and empathy with the residents Just a note on my own personal view, sometimes there isn't a staff member in the living area and there would be 15 plus residents in there, same residents need
watching for specific behaviours. I do believe they are understaffed and need a staff on at times in the living area. But overall staff are awesome.

Mum was at Aden Mount 3 years in that time she had health issues which she was hospitalised with. Every time she came back from hospital we thought it was the end she was in bad shape, the staff came to the rescue and they got her back to the best she good be. Their care love commitment & the way they
always put Kath first was outstanding. They always listened to her made time for her and took on health experts until they got what was right for Kath. Unfortunately our mum died in March the staff up to the end continued to be amazing feeding her helping her to drink mashing up her food getting all her medication in liquid form to help her take it. They did everything they could. They knew she hadn't long so at the end of their shift before she died they all gathered in her room and sang to her had a little dance and made her laugh. They are fantastic set of people all of them from Michelle the Manager all the careers & senior carers. We hit the jackpot when we choose Aden mount.
Reply from Michelle Horsley, Home Manager at Aden MountThank you for your kind words and such a lovely review. It was an absolute pleasure to look after you Mum she was a wonderful lady. When you are passing call in for a cuppa it would be nice to see you.

An amazing team of staff. Everyone is caring, thoughtful and bring a sense of fun towards the residents. The activities co-ordinator organises a varied programme with visits from singers, local school, animals etc. They are taken out on visits and have celebrations of events as well as birthdays. The
staff know the residents so they receive the stimulus they need. My mother enjoys quiet times but also loves to dance and staff engage with her to take part in dancing and listening to music. Relatives are welcomed in and have plenty of opportunities to take part in events as well as visits.
Reply from Tracy Keenan, Home manager at Longroyds & Pilling House Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to give us feedback, this means a lot to us and we are truly grateful for all your support with events in and out of the home, your Mum is a lovely Lady and we are so glad that you feel she is in a good and caring environment, again thankyou, see you at the next event, love from all the team at L&P.

Since coming to visit Pilling House Care Home, before my auntie became a resident, we have been really impressed with the care the residents receive. The social activities available to the residents is excellent from baking, craft activities, themed events and even visiting pets. My auntie was in a
poor way 14th February, two years ago, now she is thriving!

Our dad received wonderful care during his time at the home, and we couldn't be more thankful. The staff were always approachable, supportive, and willing to help with anything he needed.

They made a real effort to spend time chatting with him, which he really enjoyed, and it was clear they genuinely

cared. He was also encouraged to take part in the activities, even on days when he wasn't feeling his best, which helped keep him engaged and lifted his mood.

We truly appreciate all the care, kindness, patience, and respect shown to him throughout his stay. It made a big difference to both him and our family. Thank you to you all!

My grandad spent a short time in this care home, but we honestly couldn't have asked for better care. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. It gave us great comfort knowing he was so well looked after.

Before he became bed-bound, they made a real

effort to involve him in the fantastic range of activities available, which were truly excellent and brought him a lot of enjoyment. The care, compassion, and dedication shown by the team made a difficult time much easier for our family, and we are very grateful.

I have found generally the care of my dad has been very good. Although, there have been times when I have visited he has been unshaven and required a shower. However, when I have pointed these matters out, they have been addressed. It's been great to see my dad get involved with the activities provided
as he does need to keep active and enjoys helping out with chores so a massive thank you to the activities lady for all she does! So far my dad seems to have settled down and I thank everyone for their support!
