Willowdene provided a safe and loving home for our mam, Maureen, throughout her years with Alzheimer's. The journey was never easy for us as a family, but we felt incredibly supported by every member of staff.

The staff became an extended family to mam when we couldn't always be there. Although she was non-verbal, they always treated her with kindness, patience, dignity and respect.

We would particularly like to recognise the nursing staff, who were always attentive, on the ball and proactive in solving problems. The carers were equally wonderful, providing mam with such loving day-to-day care. Every single member of staff, in every role, made a difference, and we cannot thank them enough.

Mam recently passed away peacefully, and we truly believe their constant care helped give us extra precious time with her.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all for everything you did for our mam. We will always be grateful x

My mother has been a resident for the past three years and we have both found Pilling House clean comfortable and a safe place for her. The staff are incredibly caring and look after all the residents needs above and beyond. I am always made to feel welcome when I go to visit. The day time activities are well organised and suit all the residents needs. I have no worries that my mother is will looked after and would thoroughly recommend the home.

My mother first stayed in the Care Home for respite a couple of times. She had a really lovely time and made friends with the other residents. She adored the staff and insisted that she wished to stay permanently. She has now been living here for quite some time and is still incredibly happy. The staff are so friendly and caring, they genuinely can't do enough for her. The Home has been excellent for her. They keep me fully informed about my mum and update me as necessary. They organise activities and trips out for the residents, my mum thoroughly enjoys herself. All her medical and emotional needs are of utmost importance to the staff and I'm very grateful for everything they do.

In fact that is how I would rate the home and staff. I felt I had left Penny with family and always comfortable when leaving the home. Please can I give you my heartwarming appreciation for the respect and dignity you gave Penny

Caring and friendly staff

My aunt has been welcomed by lovely staff at Springbank, she feels safe and comofrtable, she feels confident. I have found management helpful and approachable because I need help as much as anyone. I would totally recommend Springbank to my friends.

My relative has been in the care home for 2 1/2 years. The staff are very caring and efficient in the care they give. Her care is specially planned for her. She is very happy and content in the home. The food is home cooked and well presented. The home is clean and comfortable. There is a programe of activities and interaction with the local community.

Very welcoming place with friendly and experienced staff. Openly encouraged feedback.

My husband has been a resident for 9 years. He absolutely loves it. The staff are so kind, all residents are treated as family. The staff care, are always happy, lots of different activities to stimulate residents & get them involved. Food is excellent. Good variety & choice. Management care & get involved, not just sit in an office. Would recommend the home to anyone

Mam was made very welcome when she became a resident, and seven months on she feels safe and settled in the environment, mam is always encouraged to join in all activities, which she does. The staff are great with mam, and I always feel very welcome when I go to see mam. The staff are lovely nothing is too much bother.

My mum came to Simonsfield Care Home 3 weeks ago for respite from Warrington H. As soon as we walked in with Mum we knew she was going to be well cared for, she got a lovely warm welcome from staff, in the 3 weeks Mum has a beautiful room. The staff in every dept are amazing. Simonfield is very clean everywhere. We would not want our mum anywhere else.

My cousin has been at the limes for a couple of months. The staff at the limes have been friendly and helpful. We have had two useful meetings with the manager Debbie, who is very approachable and gives us confidence that our relative is being well looked after. A problem with the lift-caused some difficulties for residents but the staff did what the could to mitigate this.

My aunt was in Aden Court since 2022 and during the time she was looked after well. As I lived a long distance away, I was well informed of any problems and of follow up action. Phoning regularly the staff were always helpful and jolly! This gave great peace of mind a first class establishment.

They even organised a trip to Matlock bath which my father loved it

I find when I have a issue with my husband care. I have a word with the manager, the next day it is resolved. From the Receptionist, to managers, to the Carers, to laundry ladies, to Cooks and even the Electrician They treat Me with Respect and a friendly Hello. I thank God for them they all Work Very hard. Sorry I forgot the Nursing Staff.
