My father has been at Chatsworth Grange Nursing Home and I now feel I can relax knowing he is happy and well looked after. The home is spotless, the food is amazing, staff are very attentive and always have time to spend if my dad needs a chat.

Mum was a resident in Willow Park for a little over 3 years. Every time we visited, she was comfortable, clean and tidy. The personal care was performed with kindness and dignity. As time went on, we noticed mum became happier through the care, companionship and friendliness of the staff. She had complex
needs, and all of them were met adequately, from the comfortable wheelchair to suitably prepared food and drink. All the staff were friendly and welcoming to us as visiting family, and we will always be grateful for the love and care shown to our mum. A sincere thank you to all.
Reply from Victoria Darlow, Home Manager at Willow ParkThank you so much for taking the time to complete the review. It really does mean a lot. Thank you again for giving us the opportunity to care for Mum and for us to be part of Mum's journey.

The care my Mum received at Larchwood was extremely good. Mums stay there was only for 11 days before she passed away but I was more than impressed with the quality of her care and the attentiveness of all the staff during that time. The home had a good friendly vibe and the cleanliness was second to

My father moved here once his needs could not be met at his previous home. From the beginning the home felt safe, homely and full of love & care for the residents. Absolutely everyone was kind, smiley, friendly & helpful. We were kept in the loop about dad's condition & when he was in that palliative
stage we witnessed him being treated with great care & dignity. They also cared for us when we visited as it did become very difficult. We would highly recommend this home, it is wonderful.

The chef made an amazing birthday cake for our mum (as she does for every resident) On the big day mum was absolutely thrilled with the cake which was decorated to reflect her love of gardening. Mum really enjoyed tea and cake with family and friends in the afternoon. We are very grateful for everyone's
hard work to make this a special day for mum.
Reply from Charles G Sadler, General Manager at Southwell CourtYou are so welcome, its a privilege to be able to play a part in your mothers Birthday celebrations and we are so very grateful for your wonderful review. Sincerely all the best to your lovely family

Since I viewed Crossgate Care Home I knew it was the one for my brother. The staff are very caring and brought my brother out of his shell. He feels very secure and happy. I've been in care homes visiting and I find Crossgate more like a hotel and always has a fresh smell. I have been notified any time
my brother was unwell and that's when I know it's the vest place for him.
Reply from Donna Van Heddegem, Manager at Crossgate Care HomeThank you for your kind review. We are very grateful for your feedback. I shall pass on your kind words to all our staff.

So delighted we found this home for my mum. It has made the incredibly hard transition of having her leave her own home to being cared for with so much respect, kindness and support throughout this hard transition. Absolutely all members of the staff have made the home an inviting place for her to settle.
We now know she is in safe hands. Knowing she is getting her whole mental and physical heath cared for is such a relief.
The location is absolutely perfect. The seafront is literally a stones throw away. Which has been great for going on walks along. The staff and family take her regularly out for walks, which she loves, whatever the weather.
The dinning area is always well presented, her dietary requirements are consistently catered for.
I now have the reassurance in the incredibly hard discission to move mum into the home, that it is the right choice for her and her needs.

My sister has been cared for by the staff at Birch Tree Manor for over 3 years. I cannot fault any of the staff who care for her. They all treat her with such kindness and respect and are so anxious to do everything they can to make her comfortable and happy. All the activities, including trips out,
she has enjoyed. Now sadly she needs extra care and everyone is doing their best for her. She couldn't be in better hands. As relatives any queries have been answered immediately. We have no worries about her nursing care or general care. Thank you to everyone at Birch Tree Manor for their dedication.

Mum has settled really well and is happy. I haven't seen her smile so much for a long time.
She is enjoying the food very much.
She feels safe and is cared for very well.
We feel so relieved that we can now visit as family and not be her carers.
Beechcare has worked its magic on Mum

Overall experience is good although staff shortages can be challenging all staff are great and no task is too much. The carpet in the room could be cleaner but apart from that the cleanliness, the food and the choice is outstanding.
Reply from Charles G sadler, General Manager at Southwell CourtThank you so much for your kind review, I'm very grateful you are so happy with our new food menu in particular. Wishing you and your family the very best

Xmas lunch was very disappointing most of it couldn't be eaten
Tough beef. Dry roast potatoes
burnt pigs in blankets.watery gravy
The overall menu is good but preparation and serving of meals should be overalled ie The veg is always overcooked sausages are served 2 to 3 times a week the fish served
on a Friday is mostly all batter every day the meals are only barely warm .This has been discussed many times but it's still the same.
On the occasion day the residents do get a nice meal.
The plastic drinking beakers are very badly stained as well as the desert spoons they are not washed properly and should be bleached or renewed If all the above could be changed the Fountains would be in my view PERFECT
Also the activity ladies go above and beyond for all the residents my rating for those ladies would be a 5 star plus
Reply from Claire May, Home Manager at The Fountains Care CentreThank you for your comments. I was unaware of the issues with Christmas lunch, however this is your experience and I respect that. I would like to have another conversation with you to see where improvements can be made and to go through recent menu changes. I also appreciate your other positive comments and will ensure the activity team receive your compliments. Thank you again.

I can't recommend Donwell house enough to anyone thinking about care facilities.
My mam became a resident in May 2025 due to a decline in her Alzheimer's.
We quickly discovered that the foundations of this care home are built on kindness, respect, care, compassion and dignity.
The staff become surrogate
family to the residents and as such, have the residents best interests at heart and this was evident in every interaction my family witnessed, not just with my mam but with all residents.
My mam passed away a week ago but during her last days the staff were incredible, showing such compassion, kindness and love not just to my mam but to the whole family. As a family we will forever be grateful and no words I have are enough to thank each and every member of staff. Angels on earth
Reply from Bianca Pavel, Care Home Manager at Donwell House Nursing HomeThank you so much for the beautiful , kind words. It has been an absolute pleasure caring for your mother.

On the week of my wife's admittance to Larchwood, Norwich, the manager and all her staff made us so welcome. Larchwood was so clean and organised, the staff and nurses all had their own routine to work on. Nothing was too much trouble for them. My wife was happy there. I would give my highest recommendation
for anyone to be placed at Larchwood House.
Reply from Howard Emanuel, RM at Larchwood HouseThank you Joseph for your review - Our staff pride themselves in the care they provide. We are delighted that your wife has had the dignity and care in our home.

Our experience at this nursing home has been very positive. Amir has settled in very well, and the staff have been very supportive and comforting for Amir.
All of Amir's needs have been met, and staff members have been active in uplifting Amir's spirits in this difficult time, as a famiy we are satisfied
