Ayelisha was a charming lady. To hand your wife over to Sanctury care after 59 years is beyond difficult. Bisi smoothed the way forward for which I thank her.

My dad has been here for just over a month now and he said himself "that we found the right place for him". We as a family thought that too having experienced others for respite stays - this has surpassed our expectations. The level of care is extremely good and it is consistently reviewed and involving us. There are always lots of visible staff who are always helpful. It is clean and comfortable and he loves the food. In previous homes he's refused to eat or come out of his room so it's lovely to see him integrated into the dining room and chatting with fellow residents. They have managed to keep him cool in this weather too. The activities lady, Caroline has been so welcoming and creates such a lovely atmosphere when mum comes to visit him. We put him here with a view to moving him closer to our home (30 mins drive away) but he likes it so much he will not now move. Can wholeheartedly recommend Briggs Lodge.

Lovely friendly professional staff. Would always recommend. I have always been impressed with them since mum came to Briggs but last night they were amazing especially Sanjay and Sophie. I was deeply touched Very professional and caring. You can be proud.

Briggs Lodge are brill,my nan was there until she passed not that long ago and were superb in her last days. Staff came in when at end of each shift to say goodbye just incase she didnt make the night. They were so caring and helped the family.

My mother was at Briggs Lodge for 3 1/2 years. She was always treated with care and the utmost respect at all times. All staff were incredible and worked extremely well as a team, nothing ever seemed too much trouble. As a visiting relative the care and friendship from all staff was above and beyond mere duty it felt like a second home. Can't praise them enough.

The fact that he is happy is a great relief to me and I would like to say a huge thankyou to everyone there for their continued support and care both to him, and to me.

My mum has been at Briggs since February 2025 and the care she receives is great and she seams happy. Mum has made friends with the staff and also some of the residents. The only thing lacking is the ability to have trips out each month - I believe though a minibus is being sought!

Lots of facilities available but rarely see anyone using them.

Gardens could be more colourful and would be nice to see more bird feeders around the property

The staff are wonderful, from the nurses and carers to the reception and admin staff.

My sister has been looked after extremely well, and has been happy staying at Briggs Lodge. Every member of staff has been kind and considerate and nothing is to much bother.

3. The second floor, where Mum's room is, still smells of urine.

Communication with Briggs Lodge Residential and Nursing Home has been good and any problems resolved very quickly.

Throughout his time with you, we always felt that our dad was cared for with love, kindness, dignity and respect. The staff were approachable and your open-door approach was very reassuring; we were made to feel welcome at all times.

Overall I have no complaints with Briggs Lodge, all the staff are friendly and attentive. We never had an issues with any aspect of my mother's care and only moved her to bring her nearer to my home, otherwise she would still be in residence.

I would not hesitate to recommend Briggs Lodge for anyone requiring respite or long term care.

The care provided for my husband has been very good. The atmosphere in the home is pleasant and everyone seems to be happy in what they do. The food is good and plentiful. As someone else has observed, a weak link seems to be in the relationship with the GP, and depends on the feedback between the home and the surgery. There can be long waits to get or change medication and depends on the Nurse Practitioner who visits once a week normally. Similarly, the HQ efficiency is poor. I still have not received a formal request for any funds three months into my husband's stay! One thing that could easily be changed is the very irritating 'phone system. I don't need all the advertising and would like to be able to talk directly to the home.

Friendly and helpful staff. Always seems to be clean and welcoming. The manager, deputy manager and staff are always helpful. Internal coordination and communication are occasionally not as strong as I would wish, but overall, very good.

My mum has been in Briggs Lodge Residential and Nursing Home for over two years now and throughout this time she's had consistently high levels of care and service. Every time we visit the home it's spotlessly clean with staff looking after and interacting with the residents. It seems to have a very good culture and atmosphere inside the home, which is good to know. My mum is very happy there.
