My father, who has dementia, became a resident at Kintyre House in 2023, and I have been extremely pleased with the care he has received. While his condition has naturally progressed during this time, the standard of care has remained consistently excellent. Most importantly, he is clearly safe, comfortable, and well looked after, which gives us great peace of mind.
There has been a change in the management team recently, and the improvements have been very noticeable. There is a strong sense of organisation, leadership, and commitment to high standards, which is reflected in the overall quality of care provided.
Our son, who is a paramedic, visits many care homes-most of which rely heavily on agency staff who may not know the residents well. He is always reassured to see the same dedicated and familiar team caring for his grandfather as when he first arrived.
Although we live some distance away, we visit regularly, and the staff are consistently excellent at keeping in touch.
