I have nothing but praise for the way the carers and staff looked after my husband during his 16 months time at Trewartha. He was always treated with respect and dignity. The carers really got to know him and were always ready with a joke and a laugh even though he couldn't really respond towards the
end. I visited nearly every day and again I was always treated so well and made it feel welcome. Although it was a sad time in our lives it was made more memorable by the staff at Trewartha. Thankyou so much.

The staff are all friendly,professional ,welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.
They have made my Dad feel at home and the care given from the Manager & all the staff has been excellent.The atmosphere is like a home from home which has enabled my Dad to settle in really quickly.
Activities
for residents range from craft & exercise classes to trips to local hotels for afternoon tea.
The building is really spacious with lots of areas to sit,chat and the residents to move around.
When I leave after a visit I can go home relaxed knowing he is well looked after and more importantly that he is happy.

I have been visiting this residential home for two years, and have always had lovely welcome and made to feel relaxed.
My mother's has several grand children and great grandchildren visiting and all have been very welcome, juice and biscuits have been made available, very nice.
The only thing I think
is not fully utilised is the outside area,, good access seems in place but lacks some vision maybe.
This care home is always well presented and residents are really well carer for.

Since the day my mother moved into Pengover, she has had the most wonderful care and treated with the utmost dignity. All the staff are truly kind, considerate and understanding not only to my mother but I have witnessed they are like this with all their residents. The home itself is kept very clean
and every time I visit my mother, she is always dressed well, hair is clean as well as her clothes. She is happy and enjoys the activities by the two co-ordinators (who do an excellent job).
Very pleased with the any updates given by the nursing staff .
All the staff are very helpful and friendly and are doing an excellent job given the sometimes, challenging conditions.
It is very comforting to know that she is getting the best care from some genuinely lovely staff.

Both of my parents are residents of St Breock care home and I've found the whole experience of them moving in very positive.
The staff clearly care about their work and have worked hard to ensure that my parents need are met and that they are enjoying a quality of life that they deserve, they are being
treated with dignity and respect at all times.
Not only are my parents looked after but I and my siblings have also received a lot of time, care and attention from the staff and management which has ensured that at an emotional time for all involved their move into residential care has been smooth and painless.
Overall I cannot recommend them enough.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They are keen to listen to the views of residents. There is an incredible amount of space in the home and it doesn't feel like a traditional residential home. It's a pleasure to spend time there. There's a great variety of lounge and dining areas which provides
many options. The corridors are wide and as a result of the space it is possible for my father to get a great deal of exercise walking around the home.

The lounges are bright and spacious with views across Wadebridge.


A lovely space to be in whilst visiting and always a welcoming atmosphere.


Always seem to have an event planned during the week for residents.

My Mum was cared for at Trevern from June 2025 until January 2026, when she sadly passed away. Trevern staff have been amazing over these last seven months, extremely caring, compassionate and empathetic. I cannot thank them enough for the care that they gave Mum & me!
Trevern were like an extended
family to us.

Cedar Grange is looking after my son who has dementia/Alzheimer's which is progressing. He could not be in a better place for someone with his condition.
It is such a sad condition as the person you know has gone.
