Mum has been in 'Woodlands' for 9 months. She has received very good care and the staff are always very friendly & helpful. Communication with the home is good and mum seems happy there and on friendly terms with the staff.

Over the last couple of months he has been diagnosed with another illness to fight. The love and support he is getting from St Breock is amazing. We as a family also feel it and couldn't thank them enough for what they've done and continue to do for Dad.

Over all the home is very nice, welcoming and a caring place for mum to be.

Overall I have been comfortable and well looked after but there can be issues with staffing levels which I'n sure is an industry wide problem.

Thank you to the staff who were caring and kind, not easy when you're under pressure. More staff/ residents ratio needed to ensure quality care is given.

The overall atmosphere of the home is lovely, it is great to know my dad is being well looked after.

Today was my first visit to the care home in Newquay. I was visiting my friend/family member, and I was impressed with Penberthy care home straight away, my friend's room was excellent for her needs, very bright, spacious, clean and had everything she needed. She is very happy there, the food is excellent! (her words), the staff are very nice (her words) The home was extremely clean and welcoming. It has been hard for all the family to see her cared for now in a carehome, but what matters to us all is that she is happy there. She also praised the "night staff"! Thankyou for Care x

Overall I have found St Breock to be the perfect care home for mum.

My friend has recently gone into this care home. We are now getting used to the staff and the way the home is run. We have been a few times and sat in the garden. We went to a summer fair they organised. And it was very helpful to meet staff and other people who have relatives in the home. As it was in formal and relaxing. We took our friend out to a place she likes with some other friends. To give her a break and meet others.

Myself and a friend visited a mutual friend here . What a lovely home! We were so impressed, any apprehension we had felt on the journey there melted away as soon as we set foot in the door. Very friendly receptionists , spotlessly clean , smelt fresh and the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The whole place felt welcoming and homely and we were delighted to find that our friend looked well cared for, relaxed and happy. She had even had her nails painted!

Continually amazed at the care, dedication & love, yes love, shown towards the residents, despite occasional trying times. Hard working + humourous, the staff are committed to their career choice. Not a glamorous job but rewarding when residents react with positive intent. Resourceful + age/ability appropriate activities in place for those who wish to participate. Believe you me, if there was a problem, I would be the first to shout about it.

When I first viewed Redannick I was a bit apprehensive but when I spoke to the staff they assured me that everything will be ok. Even the local doctor spoke very highly about the place. The staff went above and beyond to make Gina's stay there as comfortable as can be. The staff are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble.

My mum has been in Blackwood for 8 months and I am totally satisfied. This home is run efficiently with care and support at the heart of everything they do. The staff are so lovely, whenever I visit I leave with a warm feeling that my mum is in very good hands and being looked after brilliantly, My mum felt at home the minute she entered Blackwood, she is so settled and happy there and has made a lot of friends.

I really enjoyed my stay at Blackwood Residential Care Home, The staff looked after me very well and the care and support I got was very good. I was impressed that the staff sat with us in the lounge. The reason I put good for activities and value for money was because there was illness in the home and we could not interact with the activities because they were stopped.

We cannot speak highly enough of Trevern Care Home. The nursing staff and care staff are fantastic and provide care that is professional, compassionate and genuinely reassuring.

The managers and reception staff are equally friendly, welcoming and helpful, and there is always a sense that nothing is too much trouble.

Having a loved one in a nursing home is never easy, but knowing they are being cared for by such kind and dedicated people helps to take a little bit of the pain and worry away.

You will never meet a kinder, more caring bunch of people. Michael, Jackie and the team have been very helpful and supportive, yet remain focussed and professional at all times. I cannot thank them enough. My 91-year-old mother is very difficult!

I cannot praise the care home and its wonderful staff highly enough. They treat my mother like an absolute queen, with such kindness, warmth, patience and respect. It is clear that they genuinely love and care for her, and they truly enjoy having her around. Nothing ever seems too much trouble, and they go above and beyond to make sure she is happy, comfortable and well looked after. My mother certainly has them running around after her hand and foot, but they do it with smiles, kindness and genuine affection. The care, compassion and respect they show her gives our family enormous peace of mind. We honestly could not wish for a better team of people to care for her.

My husband was admitted from hospital with terminal cancer, his condition deteriorated rapidly and he died on the eighth day. He was unable to eat so cant comment on food or activities. The staff were very knowledgable and kind. Care was excellent. I would like to thank them for taking him in, at a time when we really needed help.
