Staff were always lovely in their caregiving; nothing was too much. We can't thank everyone enough. Would highly recommend.

My Mum recently moved to Blackwood, it hasn't been an easy transition as my Mum has Dementia and was very distressed because she was so confused. The wonderful staff team have been exceptional in calming Mum down and settling her into her new home, and they have been brilliant at helping my brother
and I manage the transition as well. Mum has settled in now and is happy, content and thriving in her new surroundings, she has made friends and always praises the lovely team there. Mum has a lovely room with a great view of the beautiful secure garden, there's lots to keep her busy and with support from the excellent events manager Bernie, she has even joined the knitting club! It's so good to see Mum so happy - it's a really lovely home.

My wife has been a resident at Chyvarhas since April 2025, a difficult time for both of us made bearable by the sympathetic & competence of all the staff. As time goes on my wife finds comfort in the sense of security by the consistent good care she recieves.

It meant so much to know she was surrounded by people who truly cared for her well-being and treated her with such dignity and compassion during the
short time she was with you. My mum moved into Blackwood at the end of February and with very little notice the whole team were very supportive and done everything they could to help mum move in . The team are always supportive and welcoming and always lots of smiles and a friendly greeting and offer of support for us as a family.
Mum is struggling with her dementia and the team have been so supportive in helping her settle . Mum has a lovely view of the gardens and her room is always clean and bright . I would like to say thank you to everyone at the home for there kindness and support for us and mum in her first month in her new home

From the moment I walk into the reception at The Green, I feel welcome. All the staff are friendly, helpful and supportive. They treat my mum with dignity, respect and kindness. They make her feel important and special. It is lovely to see her involved in a variety of social activities and thriving
despite the constraints of her dementia. Facilities are clean and well maintained and residents are offered a selection of home cooked meals in a well laid-out dining room. I'm consulted about changes in mum's care and feel my opinions are valued. I am reassured and grateful that mum is settled, safe and happy at The Green.

I have been here for approximately 3 and a half months. It is a well-maintained and spacious care home. My room, which involves an ensuite toilet and wash basin, is furnished with my belongings and is cleaned every day. The staff here are fully trained, efficient and friendly. My medical needs are fully
and professionally provided for. I have regular daily freshly cooked meals, and "extra" snacks and drinks are provided. My visitors are warmly welcomed at any reasonable time. Entry and exit is security controlled. There is a spacious outside area with plenty of seating which awaits us in spring and summer.

My aunt, Dorothy, was in Redannick's care from early January until her passing on February 22, 2026. I visited Joan over the course of a week in January (I live in Canada) and was impressed and humbled by the level of care and service provided. On Joan's passing, I was called with the news in a very
sympathetic way. The nurses and auxiliaries at Redannick are all warm and caring people, and I understand my aunt was not ignored in her last hours and had someone with her for the majority of the time. I am so grateful for that, as my main wish was that she did not die completely alone. Thank you.

My uncle has been here since April 2025. He was very well looked after. This is a lovely, bright welcoming care home. He died on 01/03/2026 having had 4 days end of life care. The last four days of his life were amazing, constant care and checks and dedication by care home staff and district nurses.
It could not be better anywhere. So grateful to Cedar Grange Launceston.

My mother was a permanent resident at St. Martin's. When she sadly passed away there is early January, the staff and manager could not have been kinder. They had been so caring towards mum and all our family in her final days, and on the day she died, they really all went above and beyond. The staff
laid out beautifully, even placing flowers in her hands. We were all so touched by their kindness, care and compassion, and we thank them all from the bottom of our hearts. We were sorry that mum didn't have long to enjoy this lovely care home and wonderful staff.

The overall care to our son is excellent with staff at Chyvarhas going the extra mile in looking after him (five stars).

I love being resident here meeting new residents and there families , I am able to go in and out as I please and into town which gives me my independence I am well cared for and have a good relationship with all staff.
