It is homely and friendly and the staff, without exception were all kind, caring and attentive. Not once in the whole year and a half my mother was there, did I have any cause for concern in any regard. Ashley House has a happy atmosphere, there appears to be a very low turnover of staff and it is clean and well-maintained. My only comment would be the garden could be improved on a bit but that may well have already been addressed. I have no hesitation at all in recommending Ashley House.

room. The staff ensured that he attended the entertainment and was not left on his own in his room. I was happy with his care and have booked another respite stay later in the year. I would rate the home good but with a couple of improvements, it could be excellent. 1) Offer male residents a daily shave. 2) Implement a process to monitor residents' fluid intake. 3) Ensure a member of staff is in the dining room during mealtimes, encouraging to eat more.
