My mum moved into Juniper House nearly 5 years ago with vascular dementia. From day one she was treated with kindness patience and dignity. We, her children, always felt supported and informed about anything going on with mum. The staff are amazing and show genuine love and care for their residents and we never felt that it was 'just a job' for any of them. Everything was always clean and tidy and meals smelled delicious. I can never thank them enough for the comfort and friendship the entire staff gave mum every day.

I have just come home from spending 5 weeks in respite care as a result of breaking my wrist. I cannot praise the Home and staff enough. Everyone was totally fabulous from the time I walked in I was known by my christian name and treated with patience + understanding. The staff, without any exception, treated me with compassion and understanding. Because of my injury I needed everything done for me and this was done happily - nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good with plenty of choice. In fact - I am going back to the home and would like to be a volunteer there, if there is anything I can do to help!

I find Ravenhurst to have a very warm and comfortable atmosphere. The staff are excellent and work hard. The food is amazing. Mum has settled very well and made friends. The residents all appear to be happy and relaxed and appear to get along with all. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for the staff and are always on hand for all needs.

Overall, I would certainly recommend Breme to anyone looking for respite or long term care for their love one.

Heathlands was recommended to us by a neighbour. Her Mum had been a Heathlands resident for a year before she passed away and our neighbour couldn't have been happier with the care her Mum had received.

Prior to becoming unwell and needing hospital care my Mum had lived with us and we were not expecting to be unable to meet her care needs at home. Therefore residential care was a shock and unplanned. The Heathlands Team guided us through the process and we are so grateful.

From initial contact meeting and home show around we were made to feel so welcome.

Heathlands is homely, warm and caring. Mum has thrived at Heathlands. The food is absolutely excellent, activities in and out of the home are arranged and Mum is happy. They even hold fine dining evenings for family and freinds. Of course, Mum would prefer not to require 24 hour care but the Heathlands Team have made this transition very easy for all, particularly Mum.

When we met both Ryan and Yana we knew straight away that we were making the right decision. We met in what were quite stressful circumstances having just lost dad, their empathy and care was outstanding. Mum, Brenda moved in and the moving in process was quick and extremely positive. The room was clean, bright and airy. The en suite was large and safe. All of the staff have been exceptional but especially Paul, now known as Dr Paul by mum, he has made a lasting impression on mum and us as a family for his care and compassion. Mum tells me the food has been excellent, she is quite a fussy eater but tells me she has enjoyed all of her meals. The garden area is well kept and accessible which really helps. I can't thank the team enough, clearly Yana runs a very professional, happy and friendly care home, all of the staff we have met are a true shining example of what you would expect when finding a care home, in fact they have all exceeded our expectations. All staff seem to know mum.

The Brambles staff are very respectful, supportive and helpful towards residents. Facilities at the Brambles are good, however it would be good to have air conditioning especially on the top floor. Its lovely that the care home has "movie days", when singers come in, residents do love a good old sing song! It would be good to have more activities available. The food quality is good and such a variety. Its great that each floor celebrate every residents birthday's - this is such a nice touch. My mum has settled in really well and is enjoying her time here. Its a peace of mind for me knowing that she has 24 hour care. Well done to the carers as their roles can be very challenging!!

Maintenence of room facilities has taken an inordinate time to be repaired. The care home is often understaffed which has a knock on effect on her care. Despite having many items of tagged clothing, many have gone missing/damaged. Mum enjoys taking part in activities, although these are impacted by staff availability. Care home appears clean in communal areas, residents are able to move freely within the home but further support is needed for my mum.

My father has just had an amazing 10 days respite, he absolutely loved his time here. This deserves a 10/10 rating I couldn't fault anything, the staff are all fantastic, the facilities amazing, so very clean & spacious, the rooms are beautiful, dad had everything he needed, I won't hesitate to use Juniper House in the Future!!!

Staff friendly and helpful all guests seem to be happy and well looked after, not heard anything negative.

The staff do a difficult job at times, but they all work hard, have patience, understanding and show the best care and respect for their residents. The Regent Care Home is homely and has a family feel to it. I am glad my mother resides in this home with this staff.
