Staff seemed friendly and supportive. Pleasant surroundings, comforable room with bathroom and TV. As I was only a visitor cannot comment on facilities/activities etc. From my point of view the experience seems good. Food seemed of a superior quality.

Poor response to emergency button. Difficulty obtaining button when required. Food V. Good and plentiful. Body/shower facilities excellent. Occasional confusion with pharmacy in regard to pills/eye drops etc... unessary use of paracetamol.

Our mother was in Nunthorpe Oaks for 12 nights respite. Although she wanted to go home and said so many times we were very happy with her care. The staff are all wonderful and we the relatives treated kindly. Its a very nice care home and we wouldn't hesitate if she felt it necessary to live there permanently.

I found all the staff at Nunthorpe Oaks outstanding. They showed Dad kindness and gave him super care. They ensured he was always safe.
The bistro set up was lovely, the food excellent and the staff there very friendly.
The entertainment team worked tirelessly to include Dad and encourage him to
mix.
All Dad's needs were met including making his room as homely as possible so thank you to house keeping and maintenance.

My mam is in Dalby Court for rehab, and all the staff, manageress are fabulous with my mum. The meals are lovely and she is cared for wonderfully. She really likes it here and I feel so good knowing she is cared for when I'm not here.

Since my uncle went to stay at Dalby Court he has received excellent care and support throughout. His dignity, to my knowledge, is always observed throughout his care. The staff are very professional, warm and welcoming when you meet them, management always around to listen and resolve any issues quickly.
His room is bright and clean. The menu is varied and my uncle has said he enjoys his food, drinks on request throughout the day. The activities staff put a great deal of effort into activities and a weekly timetable is offered. I would recommend Dalby Court.

My father-in-law was initially in respite for 6 weeks from 6th June 2024. He then became a permanent resident. He is so content in Dalby and has really improved his mental health - also his physical health too - although he needs a walker to be mobile. He really likes all the staff. They are so friendly
nd professional and if he wants something he only needs to ask/suggest once and it's done. From the top employees through the ranks the staff are all amazing. He really enjoys the food too - thankfully he has now gained all the weight he lost through illness in 2024 - in fact we've had to buy him bigger trousers!!!

I can only say the experience is 2nd to none ie helpful, informative & caring. One member of staff is an asset here & has helped me tremendously with my stay here. He is so helpful & no job is too small for peoples comfort & well being. I'm enjoying the new summer menu but the previous offerings were

I would definitely recommend Nunthorpe Oaks to anyone requiring respite or long term care. My mother has settled in well and I am happy knowing she is safe, well fed and entertained daily. It gives me peace of mind, not having to worry about medication. The staff are excellent and provide a good family
atmosphere whilst still maintaining a professional and personal touch. Her recent birthday was celebrated with excellent entertainment followed by afternoon tea for all the residents.

It would be wrong of me to report that everything is fine with the home at this time. I have had a number of issues recently regarding my mother's care, however, my concerns where addressed immediately by the management and staff to a satisfactory solution.
The home at this time is quite busy and
I feel that this may be affecting the current performance over my previous years reviews. That said, I have to thank all staff for their daily efforts in careing for my mother. Keep up the good work Nunthorpe.
