Mum became a resident on the 6 February. We've been very pleased with the high standard of care provided at Barony Lodge Care Home. All the staff are very helpful, cheerful and are a credit to Sanctuary in how they care for residents. The staff clearly take great pride in everything they do. We are
very pleased with how Mum has settled into her new life and the staff are responsible for her smooth and successful transition. Thank you for everything you do for your residents.

Mum settled in quickly and the staff looking after her were all lovely. They were so kind and caring, I know she was well looked after. The staff were also very supportive of myself and my sister which was hugely beneficial and reassuring to us. We would have no hesitation in using Barony Lodge again
in the future if we need respite care again.

My husband has been a resident in Barony Lodge for the past year. Although he resisted going into care he settled down immediately, a great comfort to the family.

Very pleased and happy that I could move Dad into this wonderful home just round the corner from us.
He has been resident for over a year and we couldn't be more happy with the care and friendship given/shown to him.
It has taken the weight off our shoulders as we don't have to worry about his safety
and health now he is no longer living on his own but is surrounded by kind, caring individuals.
Visiting (whenever you can at any hour) is a joy as always given a friendly greeting as is calling for an update.

Bradwell's team looked after my Grandma for just over two years & we couldn't have picked a better home. Me and my family don't live close by & we always knew she was in the best hands.
Whilst choosing the right home for my Grandma, the staff made us feel so welcome whilst showing us around. The process
of moving in was so easy and everyone was very helpful.
The home is amazing; spacious, lots of natural light & a lovely garden to look out onto, there was also a space that was often set aside for us as a family of 8 to spend time with her in a more private setting - the kitchen often cooked up a meal for us.
Whenever we visited it was clear how much the staff cared for her and all the residents. Being part of the social media group meant we got to see all the fun activities they have on - and her 100th birthday celebrations!
So much dignity and care was given to my Grandma throughout her stay and we also felt looked after by the team when she passed. I can't sing their praises enough.

I was extremely hesitant when my mother had to move to a nursing home after 7 years at a local residential home; however, I did not need to worry. The staff are so attentive and genuinely care about each and every resident, treating them as individuals, with kindness and respect. Mum is always clean
and well presented. She has put on weight since arriving a month ago. They took fantastic care of my mum's complex needs whilst I was poorly over Christmas. She has never looked so well and content.

A really good care home for my Mum whom has vascular dementia; & sadly my 84 year old Dad can no longer care for her. She is free to roam about as she likes - great rooms all with fully equipped disabled access wet rooms; she is warm, well fed and can go out in the lovely gardens when the weather is
good. Thoroughly recommended & the staff are very caring.*****

Mum has resided at Upton Dene for almost four and a half years since loosing my dad. Mum unfortunately has Alzheimer's so was unable to remain at home. I cannot speak highly enough of the care mum receives from ALL the staff members. Mum has really settled into the homes routine, enjoying the weekly
bingo especially! Thanks for looking after mum so well, it's reassuring to know mum is being cared for so well.

My father has been at Barony Lodge for a month now. It took him a couple of weeks to settle in, but thanks to the support and kindness of all the staff, he has adjusted well. We visit most days and are always made to feel welcome, which gives us great peace of mind knowing that Dad is safe and being
well cared for.

The environment is consistently clean and tidy, and there are activities tailored to the residents most days, which helps create a positive and engaging atmosphere. I am really pleased with the care and community here, and I hope this will be the place my father continues to call home. I would happily recommend Barony Lodge to others looking for a supportive and caring environment for their loved ones.

My sister is very frail and has advanced dementia, she is very well cared for by skilful compassionate staff. She is encouraged to join in with the Christmas activities which she enjoys, apparently she loved the handball ringers that came to entertain residents earlier this week,
Although she is confused
she loves to sing and especially loves Christmas songs.
The staff are always on hand to answer any questions regarding how she is and keep me informed of anything involving her care, I am her only relative and next of kin, they are very perceptive of how I feel and so I am very grateful.

My husband has been a permanent resident of Bradwell Court for over 18 months now, and enough praise cannot be heaped on
the home. It is always clean and bright, and there is a lovely homely atmosphere as soon as you walk in. It was not an easy decision
to place my husband there permanently, but
it is the best decision I have ever made. He is kept clean and tidy, and the staff could not
be more loving and caring towards all the residents. Not only do the staff care for my husband, but I am awarded the same compassionate thoughtfulness too. They have been a pillar of strength to me throughout. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
The food is excellent, and there is always a varied menu to choose from and special dietary requirements are well met.
If you are looking for a placement for your loved one, honestly look no further, you will not regret it.
