My wife settled in and was very happy. Everyone was very kind.

Mum is very content living here, she says it couldn't be bettered. Our family is reassured in the knowledge that mum is being cared for by wonderful staff.

The facilities are very good with excellant care. All the staff including management are very helpful and approachable and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is excellant and mum enjoyed all her meals eating better than at home. Mum is looking forward to returning for respite.

Visited Mum yesterday & today on a visit from London. Found Mum as always happy & well looked after. Staff as always pleasent & helpful. Found Mum's room tidy + clean. All in all a pleasent experience, I look forward to always coming in to visit

My wife had 2 weeks respite, it was the first she time had been away from me. All the staff from the front desk to the cleaners made her feel welcomed. The place had a very friendly feel about it. Because of Dementia I was unable to get any feed back from my wife on how she felt during her two weeks, she did seem happy. I would have liked a bit more detailed on how well she was doing when I phoned.

This is easily the best care home that I have come across.The building is purpose built , clean and spacious and well laid out.Everything is in tip top condition. The staff are absolutely fabulous with the residents and seem very very caring . The residents are noticeably colour coordinated and always look well cared for . Other homes advertise activities but do not have them . At this care home activities are always well run and well attended. The food menus always look interesting. Visitors are made to feel welcome and came make their own drinks and help themselves to lovely cake or cookies. Staff have time for you so well done management for running such a great care home .

Putting Dad into a care home was a really difficult decision for us, but with his Alzheimer's worsening we needed to find somewhere that he'd be safe but that also wouldn't just treat him as a number. He's a young 80 something so has plenty of life left in him, and we didn't just want him sitting and wasting away. After visiting a number of care homes in the local, Furze Field Manor stood out from the rest.

Situated in a new purpose built building, it's light, spacious, and very welcoming, the beautiful grounds and gardens give it a touch of colour that brighten your mood, and distinguish it from traditionally dark and dreary care homes.

The staff are fantastic, they're friendly and attentive, and most importantly they treat Dad with dignity. There's a dedicated lifestyle manager, and a full activity schedule (some of which is open to relatives) so he's never short of something to do, and he raves about the food which is freshly prepared daily.

Having visited several care homes I am convinced that Furze Field Manor is the best considering fees and amenities. The staff are kind and considerate and work hard to keep the patients happy, not lonely, with a wide variety of quizzes, games, and visiting entertainers, also interesting trips are arranged, weather + demand permitting.

Mother transferred from respite care to full time residential mid July and since then we have noticed how well she looks and has started joining in with activities and outings. This was a big step for her but made manageable by the caring staff in Potters House.

It's reassuring to finally feel that my relatives are in a safe and caring environment that can afford them some dignity and allow them to get some pleasure during the latter part of their lives

What stands out most is the refreshments and family get togethers on offer. We are always made to feel incredibly welcome whenever we visit. Knowing he is safe, content, and so well looked after means the world to us. I cannot recommend this care home enough.

The staff cannot do enough for you! Either was visitors or as residents. I am most impressed by their care and dedication -especially when compared to other homes available. Thoroughly recommended

The team at Ponbay Lodge are truly outstanding, the level of care they provide is at such a high level! And a beautiful home setting for the residents! I attended the open day to celebrate the homes first birthday, a wonderful day filled with love and laughter! Well done all!

My mum has been at Stowe Mount since early July and the care has been exceptional. From the moment you walk through the door, Alison on reception is extremely helpful and welcoming. The care staff are truly exceptional, going above and beyond every day. Leah has been instrumental in helping mum settle, with genuine kindness and patience, and Andy, the handyman, is always so warm and helpful. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the rooms are lovely. They've also been incredibly supportive of us as a family and always make us feel welcome when we visit. We couldn't ask for more and are deeply grateful to the whole team.

You are able to make yourself a drink and they always have homemade cake and cookies. This is a really nice thing to be able to do , sharing a cuppa and a cake with your loved one, like you would do if they were still in their own home.

Furze Field Manor has proved to be an excellent Care Home and 'care' is at the fore front of everything they do. My Mother-in-Law has dementia and Furze Field has been her home for the past 13 months. She and her family are content in the knowledge that every aspect of her care is to the highest standards. When asked about her care, she replies " what's not to like?"

The facilities are first class and the food is presented and prepared to a high standard.

The activities are plentiful and varied.
